A wonderful second chance story as only Jenna Brandt can write. June Hillman had lost everything it seemed. Her husband, the business they owned and a living. She and her four year old son have little choice but to move back where she grew up in Belle, Wyoming. She begins work in the new Apothecary and sees her childhood sweetheart, Daniel Wentworth.
Daniel himself had lost, at least his broken heart felt like it and he was determined to not get close to a woman again. But sometimes the heart knows what is needs and it cannot be resisted. Can June trust Daniel not to run away as he had years ago?
This story pulled at my heart and I could only admire June’s strength and how Daniel stepped up to be the man he should. As usual Jenna Brandt brings out the emotions and takes us on a journey that can only end in a sweet romance.

A short SWEET love story. Second chances really can happen!!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.
This was a sweet story about second chances. I enjoyed getting to know June and her lovable son and Daniel. They both had a past to overcome. I like how they worked together to move forward. This was a tender short romance. I enjoyed this story, but it didn’t have much depth. I recommend this to anyone that enjoys a quick feel-good romance. I received a copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
This is a sweet, second chance romance. June and her young son move back to her hometown after her husband dies. She’d had a hard time making friends in her new town and was more than ready to move back. As someone who’s experienced this firsthand, I found her character quite relatable.
I enjoyed reading this book! It is a very eye-opening story about the civil war and what the men in the army went thru and also the ones waiting at home! I recommend this book to anyone who likes romance and history!
June’s Remedy is a second-chance romance with an unusual heroine. June, widowed with a young son, is an apothecary. I found her career and training for it quite interesting. Her young son Ben adds touches of humor and tenderness to the story. June and Daniel are both likable and believable characters. The plot had some twists and moves along at a good pace. I loved the surprise HEA! I would recommend this to readers of clean/wholesome romance. I intend to read more of Jenna Brandt’s work. I got my copy through KU.
I loved this book. I would actually give it 4 1/2 stars.
A lovely, quick read! I loved the characters and am really excited to read other characters stories in the series. It’s refreshing to read historical romances and see how things have changed. They courted and had chaperones and now it’s just hooking up and not lots of romance. Things have definitely changed and not necessarily for the better. Can’t wait to read more about the Belles. Good job, Ms. Brandt.
I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
June’s Remedy is a heart warming story about second chances. Ms. Brandt writes characters who could be someone you know. She has created wonderful characters and a great town for this book. June and Daniel get a second chance at love. Will they seize it this time? If you enjoy clean romance, you should enjoy this book.
An entertaining book.

Heart warming! Jenna totally rocked this incredible storyline and spinning plot with on point realism so rich and lively it takes your breath away. Ramping all the swirling emotions into play with every color on the spectrum. Twixt and twined and put through the wringer with a plethora of vexing events and daunting mishaps propel this bad boy roaring to life flawlessly. All the drama, uncertainty, intrigue and suspense grabs your attention and total focus on this page turning wonder while balancing on a razors edge. Heartache, loss, strength and determination press forward to fuse this bad boy together piece by piece flawlessly. Witnessing all the twists and turns that tests our characters in ways they never saw coming. The characters are authentic, genuine and realistic with such depth and qualities it’s easy to relate. After being widowed June comes back to Belle with her little son Ben. When Daniel walks in the new apothecary he’s surprised to see his childhood sweetheart. Will they both get a second chance for a HEA?
