A couple of drinks.A random stranger. It was only supposed to be one night.Turns out, the stranger is Julian Reyes.Formidable businessman. And my brother-in-law’s new business partner.Chairman of Trinity Academy.Where I’ve just enrolled as a student.Coldhearted jerk.Who also happens to be ridiculously hot.Whenever we meet, it doesn’t help I’m reminded of how amazing his hands felt on my body.Yeah, … reminded of how amazing his hands felt on my body.
Yeah, definitely not how I imagined my first year of college.

Julian is truly an arrogant man, and he doesn’t take kindly to be left alone in bed after one night with Jamie. But he doesn’t know who she really is. Jamie also doesn’t know who he is either. They are totally surprised when they show up at the same dinner with all their friends and family.
I love how they really, really did not get along and how Jamie just blurted out what they did in front of everyone. Hilarious. She young and inexperienced, he’s much older and very experienced. It’s truly magic how they open up to each other through music. Julian is also very sweet on how he continues to interact with Jamie, he’s in it for the long haul before she is.
Loved the overall interaction with all the other characters that you’ve read about in the first three chapters.
I received this advanced reader’s copy in exchange for an honest review.

Julian is a hottie and is now one of my favorite characters by Michelle Heard in this series.
Jamie Truman Student and sister of Della from Heartless the Enemies to Lovers series, she is also the sister in law of Carter Hayes business partner of eligible bachelor Julian Reyes. Series’s are interlinked but can be read as a standalone.
A one night stand that was just meant to be that, one night, until Jamie discovers her one night stand with a stranger before she starts college isn’t a stranger at all when they have no choice but to mix in the same circles when she discovers Julian is Chairman of the academy and now in business with her brother in law.
I was looking forward to Julian’s story and although his story can be read as a standalone you are made aware of Julian in the first book FALCON which is his brother Falcon’s story, where we find out that Julian was engaged but sadly through a car crash she died in a car accident just weeks before their wedding, this is reiterated in Julian’s book but does not go into details.
I liked both of these characters JULIAN is a businessman and Ceo but he also has a vulnerable side to him and Jamie although she is only 19 she’s a young woman with backbone who has lost both her parents, helped bring up her sister’s child and is mature for her age.
When Jamie and Julian discover they move in the same circles Julian is annoyed that he did not know who she was and that he was not aware she was only 19 so the A-hole comes out in him and the two try to avoid each other but with weekly Sunday dinners set up by the group, it’s impossible.
The chemistry between the two is tangible and when Jamie becomes the victim of stalking and things begin to happen to her Julian comes to the rescue.
Julian and Jamie were a perfect match, I loved this story which had plenty going on to keep you turning the pages, hotness, action, friendships, and humor, the writing was brilliant and I couldn’t put it down.
Looking forward to whatever Michelle heard writes next.
I absolutely devoured this book! Seriously couldn’t put it down! This is definitely my favorite in the Trinity Academy series. Julian and Jamie are perfection. Their first encounter is a one night stand and once they discover who they really are, they fight their attraction and each other. Craziness goes down and soon they’re not fighting it anymore. I loved watching Julian transformation. He is kind, caring, and sweet. Swoon! I also loved how Jamie goes toe-to-toe with him and doesn’t back down.
The only thing that would put this over the top would be an epilogue on all the couples more down the road. How awesome would that be?!?
So, first off this is much better read after reading the previous stories in the Trinity Academy, what I didn’t realize is that one should also read The Enemies to Lovers series, so I went in knowing only half the backstory, and at times that was very annoying; so moral of this story, read the previous series.
A one night stand, two people that meet and feel immediate chemistry. Two people spend a night just losing themselves in the other, but they both know its just for the night. That is until Julian finds out that Jamie is not only a student at the academy but also the new business partner’s family. Talk about crossing the line. The two obviously talk and agree that this is their secret and to stay out of each others way. But even though they have good intentions, its easier said than done. When Jamie’s life gets threatened, Julian realizes that he is fooling himself with the thinking that his feelings towards her will go away. Now he finds himself fighting not only for Jamie’s life but for the relationship they could have. He just has to figure out if Jamie feels the same way.
This was a really good story that pulls you in. With drama, danger, violence; this was very entertaining. I give this 4 stars.

This book was fast paced. Maybe a litte too fast for my liking. But I enjoyed every second of it.
However I wished for a little more depth, a litte more of the connection the characters shared. I had trouble feeling it.
And the some things – i don’t want to spoil here – seemed a little far-fetched. Nevertheless this is a great book, a quick read you’ll definitely love if you fell for the Trinity Academy Series.
Full review to come soon
A wonderful combination of enemies to lovers and suspense… this is the kind of book you pick up and simply can’t put down until all the intrigue is put to bed— along with the two main characters.
Julian is an island…work is his passion and focus and he has no time for romantic entanglements—he’s done that, been there, and suffered in the process. Jamie has also had more than her fair share of loss. These two have a tonne of emotional baggage, but they also are surrounded by loving and supportive family and friends, and the love and humour they share ensures that the trauma within this story has a perfect counterbalance.
This is a standalone story, but if you are a fan of this author’s books, you are in for a treat when a number of characters from her other series make appearances. I love it when I get to meet old friends from my other favourite stories.
This is a really excellent read, and a worthy addition to the Trinity Academy world… I received an advanced copy of this book from the author.
I am absolutely in love with Julian! Julian is a businessman who meets Jamie in the hotel restaurant and has a one night stand. Neither one of them thinking they will see each other again, until Jamie turns out to be a student at Trinity Academy, where Julian is Chairman and her brother in law is his new business partner. What now? Michelle Heard has done it again with this one, I could not put it down! Julian and Jamie’s story is intense and powerful. I highly recommend it!
I’m so happy to finally be able to read Julian’s story.
Julian devotes one hundred percent of his time working.
He’s lost touch almost with everyone.
Julian wasn’t always like this.
He changed when he lost the love of his life.
Jamie is one amazing young lady.
She’s smart and strong.
She knows who she is and in which direction she wants her life to go.
When Julian and Jamie spend a night together their world is about to be turned upside down.
Having a one night stand is something neither of them does.
But fate has brought them together.
Their journey is hard fought.
With many scares throughout.
I loved them together.
Their arguments and all.
They have an undeniable chemistry and bond.
I loved seeing their relationship grow.
A great book in a terrific series.
Julian and Jamie have a ONS not knowing who the other really is and when they figure it out…oh boy! Now tell me that isn’t intriguing enough, now throw in a little age gap and a bit of a mystery/suspense and you have the recipe for a great read.
Julian stole my heart in the first book about his brother, FALCON, where we find out that he was engaged and she died in a horrible car accident just weeks before their wedding. He has not been in a relationship since and we are talking years here, apparently he was waiting for Jamie he just didn’t know it.
If you have read the ENEMIES TO LOVERS Series you’ll be happy to see them all make appearances here because Jamie is Della’s sister! I personally haven’t read them yet although they are on my TBR but I will be getting to them because of what Michelle has planned for us readers that cannot get enough of these characters….we get to watch their kids grow up and find HEAs of their own weaving the series together even more!
Although some would say Julian can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading this series in order of release since the characters all flow through each of the books.
Happy Reading!!!

So this was my first book for 2020 that I actually shed a tear for. While I was reading this book, I literally felt like I was right there as everything was happening.
When I fist met Julian in the Trinity series, I didn’t know If I liked him. Especially in Falcon’s book, but as the story went on, I fell in love with his character and couldn’t wait for his story.
What should have been a one night stand, turned out to be so much more when the next time that Julian and Jamie met was when he was being introduced to his business partners sister in law, the women who ran out on him. And guess what she’s a student a he’s the chairman of a billion dollar company.
You just knew that Julian and Jamie was going to have an explosive relationship. When you first meet her you wouldn’t think she was such a ‘spit-fire’ but when they had their first disagreement I loved it.
Even though Jamie was younger than Julian you wouldn’t say, she was confident, she was mature and she knew what she wanted. While both of them wasn’t ready or didn’t want a relationship because of the people in their lives it was inevitable that they would be together.
And when Jamie’s life is in danger, Julian was done hiding his feelings for this women and he knew he would protect her with his life. He was not going to loose another women he loved.
This story can be read as a standalone, but I would really suggest you read the previous books as many of the previous characters are in this book and characters from Michelle’s previous series. I can’t wait for the Next Generation series to start, which is the only reason I’m not that sad that this series came to an end.
Definitely a top series of mine and ones I will definitely be reading again, probably before the next generation comes along
Yes! Julian’s story is here! Michelle has another winner on her hands. We first meet Julian the first book of the series as Falcon’s older brother. I loved following Jamie and Julian’s enemies to lovers story and look forward to reading more of this engaging series.
Don’t yell at me but Julian was the one I was the least interested in reading about when this series began. He wasn’t the fun guy I knew a ton about and was dying to know more.
This book changed my opinion.
Julian’s book is hands down my favorite in the Trinity Academy series and I don’t think anyone can take his place.
Once I started reading I could not put it down, I stayed up way too late and paid for it at work the following day but I did it with a smile on my face.
I’m sorry for underestimating Julian’s story, I honestly wasn’t his number one fan but once I finished his book I couldn’t recall why I loved Falcon, Lake or Mason so much. His book literally made me temporarily forget all the rest, as in I had to go back and read my reviews to see what it was that made me adore any man before him.
You first meet Julian in Falcon’s book which is book 1 of the Trinity Academy series. Even though this is a series with interconnected characters, it can be read as a standalone.
The banter between Julian and Jamie was amusing at times. These two had a lot of chemistry but given their positions amongst friends, the age gap (only Julian had an issue with this), and Julian’s status, they were reluctant to start a relationship. Their banter was funny and Jamie has a lot of sass. It was a slow burn but when they came together, it was hot.
You will get suspense, mystery, steam, laughs, and romance. This story had a little bit of everything. While I liked it, I didn’t love it. The plot needed to be developed or elaborated on a little more and it was a bit predictable and rushed. I also think the relationship between Julian and Jamie needed to be developed more. I did love the way the friends were always there for one another. Their friendship had more of a family feel, and that added a lot to the story. Overall, a decent read. It had a lot of potential but fell a little short for me.

I loved Julian! The Trinity Academy series by Michelle Heard is full of alpha a-holes, who only know how to be nice to the woman they love. We first meet Julian in Falcon’s book when we learn the woman he was engaged to was killed in a car accident. In that moment I just couldn’t help but love and feel for him. Julian closed off his heart after that and hadn’t been in a relationship since.
The guys from the original series are back, and I could not have been happier. The banter between Falcon, Lake, Mason, and Julian is so much fun to read. I was literally laughing out loud. These serious, alpha, jerks have this amazing banter.
Jamie is the perfect woman for Julian. It takes a special kind of woman to break through the walls that Julian had built after everything.
Heard added mystery, suspense in with the friendship and love and it was perfect. The chemistry in this book was amazing. I read page after page needed to know what would happen next.
I love this crossover of the Trinity Academy and the Enemies to Lovers series. I cannot wait to see what Michelle Heard gives us next!
This book is absolutely phenomenal. Julian was an enigma for me since he was introduced in Falcon. I was hoping we would get his story and his story was definitely worth the wait. It’s unputdowndable , I literally binge read it. I was super excited once I started reading and realized this was a crossover between Trinity series and enemies to lover series. Jamie is Della’s younger sister and Carter’s sister in law . I was squealing with excitement, this was fabulous surprise and added bonus.
This book was Everything. It had all the feels and I was completely captivated until the end. It had the perfect dose of romance, fun and sexy moments. Julian and Jamie were perfect for each other from the moment these two meet. They try to deny their attraction but eventually give in to their feelings.
The story is heartwarming and captivating with touch of suspense. Michelle has mastered to deliver memorable characters and captivating plots . It deserves 10 stars. Definitely a must
Julian by Michelle Heard is Book 4 in the Trinity Academy Series. This is Julian and Jamie’s story.
Julian has been all business since his fiancee died and that means he hasn’t dated or even looked at another woman during this time. He has mourned her…deeply. Suddenly a new woman enters the scene- Jamie. They have this instant connection/chemistry. It was immediate their connection and Julian felt it. They had a ONS at a hotel and it wasn’t supposed to go any further in each other’s eyes. In her eyes, she believed him to be a musician, he thought she was traveling through town, taking pictures. It changed when Jamie shows up at as a new Trinity Academy ( she is 19 ) and Jamie finds out that Julian’s the chairman of CRC Holdings and her brother in-law’s new business partner.
The end? HA, more like a new beginning for them that is rife with dark and delicious taboo beginnings. Doesn’t mean things will be easy. It’s going to be especially hard- there will already be things stacked against them but Julian and Jamie prove they are willing to stand together when it comes to love. The chemistry and writing is top notch!!! Get ready for a fantastic emotional rollercoaster ride!
My Rating: 4.7 stars ******
With each new book in the Trinity Academy series I became more intrigued by Julian and eagerly looked forward to his story. I knew it would take a special woman to help him move on from his heartbreaking past yet rooted hard for him to find happiness once more.
Julian’s world was rocked a bit off its axis when his one night stand with the elusive Jamie brought a new complication to his life. I loved how Jamie was just what Julian needed to bring out his softer yet protective nature. The chemistry between the two was quite intense even as they tried to deny what was obvious to everyone else around them.
A bit of suspense and drama layered in with all the emotions these two stirred up made for one great read. I enjoyed catching up with some of my favorites from this series and loved seeing the family come together to rally around their own. Though I’m a bit sad to say goodbye to Trinity Academy I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next generation.
Just WOW Julian’s story is pure perfection we get everything that makes this man tick and so much more and I absolutely love how Jamie gives just as much as Julian dishes out. It’s so full of emotion and suspense it keeps you on your toes right from the beginning. I loved loved the writing and these two deserve it all.
I’m in love, in complete and utter love.
I knew when Julian landed in my kindle that I would be in for a read that would take me on a journey like no other, and it didn’t fail, if anything it fulfilled my expectations plus some.
My heart is completely full.
Julian and Jamie’s story was simply breathtaking. Filled with an abundance of emotion I couldn’t help but fall in love with them both.
It was the perfect balance of angst, pain, anguish, fear, hope, lust, trust and love.
Both Julian and Jamie demanded my attention and believe me they got it. Completely under their spell I read their story in one sitting, I literally didn’t come up for air I was that transfixed. They captured my heart and soul completely and I loved all of it, everything about them and their devastatingly beautiful story.
An exquisite read that I cannot rate highly enough.

Michelle outdid herself with this one. An amazing enemies to lovers storyline full of twists, turns and suspense. I loved it from beginning to end. This was a great book with two amazing characters. I absolutely loved Julian and Jamie. These two meet and have what they think is going to be a one night stand. But Julian is on for quite the surprise when Jamie shows up to attend school at Trinity Academy. There is pure hatred there at first. But then things start to happen to Jamie and Julian goes into protective mode. Feelings end up changing. But will Julian be able to keep her safe?
I absolutely loved this one from beginning to end. I have to say it was my favorite from the Trinity Academy series. There was just something about this storyline and characters. Michelle wrote one amazing book and had you on the edge of your seat with the suspense that she throws in. Highly recommend this one.
