A couple of drinks.A random stranger. It was only supposed to be one night.Turns out, the stranger is Julian Reyes.Formidable businessman. And my brother-in-law’s new business partner.Chairman of Trinity Academy.Where I’ve just enrolled as a student.Coldhearted jerk.Who also happens to be ridiculously hot.Whenever we meet, it doesn’t help I’m reminded of how amazing his hands felt on my body.Yeah, … reminded of how amazing his hands felt on my body.

This is the final book in the Trinity series and Michelle just blew this out of the water. This had suspense, angst, sexy sexy times but where someone would think it’s a bit of slow burner it’s not anytime when these 2 were around each other the sexual tension would build waiting for the match to ignite it, but first Julian had to catch a killer who’s got their sights set on Jamie. This is definitely a must read.
After reading The Trinity Series and Julian was getting his story, I was thrilled and I couldn’t wait to read Julian.
Julian is absolutely wow freaking mind blowing to read. Julian and Jamie’s story will keep you on edge with mystery, suspense, sadness, happiness, humour and love.
The chemistry between Julian and Jamie is off the charts, it’s so hot and steamy. I absolutely loved the piano scene, so freaking hot and sexy.
I thank the author for providing a copy for review.
Belinda, Book Haven Book Blog.
Julian and Jamies love story was a crazy roller coaster from the moment they met it was smoking hot.
Jamie faked her age the night she met Julian at the hotel bar.
Julian is a hot alpha that had been through alot and kept to him self alot untill he met Jamie.
These boys just keep packing the punch.
The protectiveness, the swoon, the charm, the brooding man himself.
This book totally had me swooning all over the shop. The way Julian was soo protective of his family specially Jamie was just HOT!!!!
We finally get Falcon’s brother, Julian’s story. He meets our heroine, Jamie, in the restaurant bar of the hotel where he lives. They end up sleeping together that night, each labeling it as a one-night stand. Shortly after, their paths collide full on when Julian meets her again as his business partner, Carter’s sister-in-law, and Jamie realizes he’s the CEO of CRC and Board President of the university she’ll be attending. Because of the close business relationship, Jamie is quickly introduced to Falcon and Mason’s girlfriends, Layla and Kingsley, who promptly take her under their wings, forcing more contact between the two even as they try to create space. The constant interactions aggravate Julian since he’s drawn to Jamie, and Jamie keeps playfully “poking the bear”, accepting the situation for what it is rather than fight it. Everything changes for Julian when Jamie’s safety is at risk by an unknown threat. When it matters, Julian really steps up to protect Jamie. The suspense surrounding Jamie’s threat gave Julian the push he needed to overcome the fear of losing someone he loves.
He was the handsome stranger who caught her eye, then bought her a drink, then gave her a night she’d never forget. The man she never expected to see again. Then she arrives on campus at Trinity Academy and discovers that her special stranger happens to be a chairman of board for the college. There is no way any good can come from this…
Between the pages of this expertly penned romance comes a story of a man who found love once, but it was taken away from him, and since that day he had vowed to not fall victim to it again. But Jamie enters his life, makes him smile, makes him feel again, and helps him heal his broken heart, not without a few bumps along the way of course. After meeting Julian in a previous installment I knew he had a heartbreaking story to tell, and boy was I right, this one comes loaded with lots of heart squeezing emotion. But with all the hurt comes some heartwarming happiness too. I loved watching this brooding alpha finally find his happily ever after, he fought it every step of the way, but his heart wasn’t letting him cop out so easily, it knew what was best for him. I really enjoyed this one, it made me swoon, made me feel, and kept me enthralled from start to finish! Highly recommend!!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Loved reading Julian and Jamie’s story. It was filled with drama, suspense, mystery, love, family bonding and steamy moments. Of course, I loved seeing the whole gang from the Trinity and Enemies to Lovers series. I don’t want any of it to end. I am excited to see what happens next.
Julian by Michelle Heard is the fourth book in the Trinity Academy series.
ARC was kindly provided by the Author.
“Deep brown eyes that can hypnotize me.”
I could not wait for Julian’s book. We first learned about Julian in the very first book in the series and each series reveled such a heartbreaking past for him. This book was entirely raw and enticing.
“It’s like the man’s been made of pure ecstasy.”
A tragic accident left Julian without a fiancé so he became one with his work, only devoting his time and attention to being chairman of CRC Holdings. What he did not expect was Jamie, a beautiful girl who captured his attention at the Rose Acre Hotel in their first interaction which led to a one night stand; however, this was a one time deal seeing as both of them thought that they were something they were not.
“Her company felt natural, and one thing eld to another with us ending up together in my suite.”
But faith was funny as they met again as chairman of CRC Holdings and student at Trinity Academy; their circle was seemingly tight and close. After several events that left a dent in Jamie’s life, Julian is discovering that he might just be open to having feelings for someone other than his job, but odds are against their favor. Their age differences, Jamie’s brother in law is a business partner, and that she is a student at Trinity.
“You are the reason my heart keeps beating.”
This book is not what you will expect. It has so many twist and turns that it will have you devouring each page ready to find out more. The chemistry between Julian and Jamie was phenomenal and off the charts. This is definitely recommended!
“It’s impossible to describe the happiness I feel while I stare at everything I ever wanted.”
Julian is book four of the Trinity Academy and I have to admit these books just keep getting better and better. Julian we have watched over the last three books and seen him through many different stages of emotions. So it is time we finally got his story.
Julian is older than everyone else we have read about and so it is fitting I think that he should get a newbie and younger girl that comes onto the scene. Jamie is coming into Trinity Academy and is finally on her own. She never knew that her one night out with a stranger would be her brother-in-law’s new business partner and part of her new friend’s group.
Julian and Jamie are so damn cute together. Neither take any crap from each other, but when danger comes calling these two will do anything for each other. I loved this story!
This book is by far one of my favorite by Michelle Heard.
The story was so unique, full of love, loyalty and friendship.
Seeing how the Trinity Academy and Enemy to Lover interlap is just the best. It’s like never letting go, but at the same time growing with each other. Seriousness is the best feeling ever.
Jaime and Julian are definitely one of the best couples. After having a lustful night and later realizing their mistakes, they were ready to part, but love had another plan for them.
Even though things got difficult for Jaime, she knew that could count on Julian. I totally love how their relationship when from almost enemies in the most romantic and loyal love story.
I’m looking forward to the 2020 crew. I love to see. Their kids coming together, having their own relationship and growing up.
5 Cranky Stars
Oh my!! Be still my beating heart I didn’t expect Julian to be this kind of guy. I love it though and I’m here for it. I want to be kick butt like Jamie in how she stands up to Julian. Just like every couple before them they are couple goals. When he said “You’re everything I’ve ever wanted but didn’t know I needed” I swooned hard and had to lay down.
Jamie is off to Trinity Academy to pursue her dreams. She is the little sister to Della and sister in law to Carter. She figures she has one final night to herself before the madness starts and she meets an enigmatic man at the bar and one thing leads to another. Sneaking out the next morning she’s certain she won’t see him again. WRONG. She soon learns that Julian runs in the same circle as her seeing that Falcon is his brother. They clash and words fly but they agree to just bury it in the past. When strange things start happening to her and with Julian showing up to rescue her each time, she starts to see a side of him that she didn’t know existed. Julian knows loss and that’s why he buries himself in work. He doesn’t have the time or emotions to deal with what comes with it. When he takes home a beautiful lady for a night between the sheets, he finds himself disappointed when he wakes up. When he comes face to face with Jamie and learns all about her, he is mad and feels tricked. He pushes all her buttons yet can’t stay away. When Jamie starts finding herself in danger Julian steps in and vows to never leave her side again.
Phew!! Darn girl you did it again. I loved Lake but Julian is a close second. I wasn’t expecting him to be that way I assumed he was like the gruff emotionless businessman we’ve met in the past and the beginning of this book. I guess the right person does make you a better version of yourself. This book is packed with it all from love to drama and a mystery that will have you guessing till the end. I’m never let down when Michelle Heard writes a book and it’s been a good break from all the gooey romance books I’ve read lately. I finished this in a day and a half that’s how dedicated I was to it. I think everyone should read this series even though this can be a standalone I think you should at least read books one thru three to get a good feel for the dynamic between this book of friends. Heck you want to take it further then you should read the Enemies to Lovers series where we first meet Jamie. Enjoy!!
As stated in the beginning of the book it’s a stand-alone spin off, with Julie and Jamie being in previous series, having read both Trinity Academy and The Enemies to Lovers it’s story you knew needed to happen.
Having a meeting to decide positions with Mr Culter retiring after having a plan, Julian is interested in Carter’s sister-in-law that’s studying at Trinity, called Jamie.
Finding out that Julian is associate with CRC, the feeling he gave her comes straight back she forced herself to leave after their amazing night, her studies come first and she thought he was a musician, but he’s not he’s the chairman of her school.
When they suggest he meet Jamie, it’s the same Jamie from last week that he had the one-night stand with and felt a connection he hadn’t in a long time. Now he’s not even sure of her age now, and she acts like they don’t know each other, after a heated confrontation he knows his life was less complicated when he ignored women. Something about Jamie gets under his skin, she doesn’t take any crap from him and can hold her own. Mason thinks he should start to date again and wants to see him happy. Jamie’s new friends think she needs a man and Julian would be perfect. When Jamie’s put in danger, they both realise what that what they had wasn’t just a one night stand and stop denying what they feel.
This series has been hot! Julian’s story was long-awaited and it did not disappoint!! I loved it!
“Turns out, my hot as hell musician is Julian Reyes, formidable businessman and my brother-in-law’s new business partner. Oh, let’s not forget he’s chairman of the school I’ve just enrolled at.”
Julian is an extremely closed and reserved person since the death of his fiancée. As the new head of the family business, he has no time to lose and cannot be distracted. But a chance encounter with a beautiful stranger will rekindle feelings that were dormant until then. As much as he tries to fight it.
Jamie just moved to attend college. The attractive musician she meets in the new city, ends up becoming her first one night stand. But when she leaves while he sleeps, she knows she will never see him again. Or so she thought.
They can’t forget each other. But what was supposed to be just one night, ends up becoming a problem when Julian finds out that she is the new student at his college and the sister-in-law of his new partner. Angry, the reckoning between them is somewhat explosive.
But if he thought she was going to shut up, he was wrong. Jamie is a force of nature, and she speaks exactly what she thinks, without measuring the consequences. And in the midst of exchanged barbs and absurd chemistry, these two will have to deal with the fact that maybe they are just what they both need.
When strange situations start to happen to Jamie, it’s hard to believe what’s really true. But greater danger will lurk around her, and Julian will find that the need to protect her is greater than his doubts and fears.
Spinoff of the Trinity Academy series, expect to see Mason, Falcon and Lake in the plot. Just like all the characters in the Enemies To Lovers series, once a crossover occurs, with Jamie being Della’s sister.
Julian stole my heart. He is kind, protective, passionate and loyal. The past marked him, but little by little he managed to move on.
Jamie is young, impulsive, strong and brings the lightness and the defiance that Julian needs.
Another good addition to a successful series.
After enduring a tragic loss Julian has closed himself off to love and relationships. He never wants to feel that pain again but after spending one night with Jamie he is beginning to reconsider that plan only to find that she is gone before he wakes up the next morning.
The next time they meet they find out the world is a very small place as they are connected both personally and professionally as she is a student at the school where he is the Chairman and his business partner is her brother in-law. Their heads know that they can never have more than the night they shared but why don’t their hearts agree?
The chemistry between them is hot and the interactions between them captivating but it is how they really saw each other as they truly are and not the persona that they present that shows why they belong together.
Julian – you’ve gotta read it
OMG, I loved Jamie’s first words to the angry and gobsmacked Julian when they meet for the first time after their one night stand, as student and Chairman of the school where she is to study!!! She fires from the hip and tears him down a peg or two – I just LOVED it!!!
Humour, wit, action and fast paced writing, the dynamics and chemistry between these two is high, while the romance in this is definitely slow burning. This romantic suspense has it all. This is a one-night-stand, enemies to lovers, student/school chairman book that crosses more tropes than you can shake a stick at. Then, it switches gears again and turns sinister.
My first read from Michelle Heard was Girl In The closet, and I’ve been hooked on her writing since, so even though this is at the lighter end of the scale of the books I’ve read, I absolutely loved it and was engrossed from the get-go. As with all of her books they are a 5 star must-read
Julian and Jamie pull you in right from the beginning and keep you on the edge of your seat. From one page to the next you find out more and more and when the situation becomes dire will they be able to save who is need of it? Amazing read that has everything you could need in a book and has you wanting more. Can’t wait to see what she has next.
The synopsis caught my attention and made me sit up more in my recliner. Who is Jamie? How does she know Della? What happens when Jamie first gets to town? What do we learn about her? When she is taking lessons from Lisa, what happens? What is assumed by Julian that she has done? What misimpressions are had by several people? What are they? What is said and by whom that changes the whole tone of the story in less than 5 chapters? What suffering do we see and for whom? The crossovers in this book make it interesting. The suspense had me sitting on the edge of my seat. The tension is off the charts for two people. See who and what is the cause! Enjoy!
RECEIVED THIS BOOK AS A GIFT FOR A FAIR/HONEST REVIEW and REVIEWER FOR Bloggin’ With M. Brennan.
Wow what a amazing romance book! Julian and Jamie together just sizzle like a good piece of bacon. Intense story at times but soulmates just bring it all together. Definitely a story I’ll read again and again 5/5 stars
Julian was just another fabulous read in this series and I am so glad it didn’t end with the first three books. Julian is the older gentleman who become enchanted with Jamie after what was supposed to be a one night stand. The chemistry from their one night stand and the banter and tension between the two when their worlds collide creates for a fantastic story. I loved the twist in the story which absolutely kept me on my toes the whole time.
Truly a delightful read as I am hooked on this series
JULIAN (Trinity Academy #4) by Michelle Heard
4 STARS
Julian is the fourth book in the Trinity Academy series by author Michelle Heard. It can be read as a standalone romance, but it is best if you read the first three books in the series first, Falcon , Mason , and Lake . The characters are interconnected and the stories are so good. You definitely have to read them.
We meet Julian in the first three books. He is Falcon’s brother and he was engaged to Mason sister Jenifer. After Jenifer died, Julian buried himself in work. He didn’t live anymore. Slowly, he let himself go and begin to live a little more, he repaired his relationship with his brother and his friends, but still, it wasn’t enough.
One night, he meets a beautiful girl who blows his mind and decides to have a one night stand. She is a photographer, she is natural and he connects with her so easily. She is simply one of a kind for him.
Imagine their shock, when they are presented to one another, Jamie is a new student at Trinity Academy , and Julian the chairman of Trinity Academy and the CEO of CRC Holdings, where Carter, Jamie’s brother in law is Julian business partner.
Every time they meet, sparks fly, and not in the hot lovable way. They fight, they argue, they can’t stand each other. But something bad happens. Someone wants Jamie dead. And is Julian’s responsibility to protect Jamie. He will do everything in his power to protect her. His walls are crumbling down. He starts to accept that he feels something deep and strong for her, and he wants her. He is ready to make Jamie his.
But what about Jamie? Does she want more? Does she want Julian?
If you are looking for something easy, sweet and fun to read, this book is the perfect one for you.
What I loved the most about this book, was that the previous characters from the first three books were present and I got to see them again in the future.
