The Hell Night Series continues with Judge’s story!Fierce, loyal, controlled. Three things Judge became at a young age.Enduring unimaginable horrors no child should, he swore no person would dictate his or his brother’s lives again.Revenge fueled him, setting a path destined from the moment he and his brothers escaped their hell. Nothing would stop him from destroying the ones who’d wronged him, … destroying the ones who’d wronged him, even if that meant giving up the only woman to ever make him feel more than the heat of vengeance.
He let Ellie go, threw her away, never knowing the consequences of his actions.
Twelve years later, she reappears in his life, and she has some hellacious secrets of her own. Ones that knock Judge on his ass and threaten his ironclad control.
His life quickly changes course. Priorities are shifted and sacrifices are made. Judge has a decision to make. Will he give up his incessant need for retribution? Or will he sacrifice something he never dreamed he could have, but desperately wants.
Or is it possible to have both?

I have been patiently waiting for Judge. There was just something about him that grabbed my attention. I so needed his story. Alex blew me away with this one. Not at all what I was expecting from Judge. It was even better. Judge is just that the judge in the town. He is hard core bent on punishing those that need to be punished. He will keep his town safe no matter what. Things change when his past walks into his office with quite the surprise. This surprise brings out the sweet side of Judge. I loved this side of him. Dont get me wrong the bad side is yummy to but the sweet lovable side is yummy. I loved the storyline with him and Maisy. These two are so sweet and amazing together. What he does for her is priceless. Alex did an amazing job writing this one. Just the right amount of suspense, twists and turns, gripping on the edge of your seat moments and tender moments that make her storylines amazing. I still love Judge and have to say that this book was so worth the wait. Highly recommend.
Holy cow. When I finished book one, I wasn’t sure I could read the next book. When I finished book two I thought there was no way my mind could handle book three. Yet here I am, just a few hours after finishing book three and I’m enthralled (again), entertained and wondering if there is something wrong me with because I keep coming back for more, heartbroken(afreakingain) and terrified of book four.
Judge of Hell is no less powerful and captivating and sad and terrifying as Trouble in Hell and Bittersweet Hell. We pick right back up post JW and Eden’s story and there are SO MANY twists and turns. I can’t say a lot about Judge’s story because that would be spoiling it but I’m going to say this – Alex continues to leave me in awe. She takes the most horrifying and gives it a bittersweet ending. She breaks(or tries to) her characters and then shows their strength by giving them the opportunity to grow and be successful and by Malus standards normal thriving people. Except Emo, he’s still as whacked out and destroyed as before but… There’s the tiniest glimmer of hope for him in this book.
If I could unread Judge of Hell and re read it I don’t know if I would love it anymore than I do. I wish I had the ability to put into words how hard I love this series and every ounce of heart and heartbreak Alex has put into it. I’d say Judge will be hard to top but come on… We all know Emo’s book is gonna knock his brothers out of the water and leave us devastated.
Congratulations Alex on another book that is beyond my expectations.
Alex Grayson weaves another dark and delicious tale fraught with love, loss, pain, beauty, and reminding us of the human spirits sheer will to overcome tragedy. As with the other books, you never know what’s coming, and Judge did not disappoint. He is everything I was hoping he would be and more! When his world is temporarily thrown off its axis, Judge rises to the occasion defending his family and his town from anyone that would threaten either. Secrets are revealed and even more questions arise in this dark suspense series as the town of Malus and it’s citizens fight to hold onto the life they have chosen. I can’t wait to see where the next book takes us!
Another magnificently woven story in the Hell Night series!
Judge was everything I expected and hoped for and a whole lot more!
For those readers who have been following along from the beginning of the Hell Night Series, this story did not go the way I thought it would. True to the form of the previous two books, Judge fights his and the town of Malus’s demons, with his brothers at his side.
But in this story, Judge is thrown a curveball and watching him work it out was fantastic!
These four broken, yet pieced together men, have found ways to surprise me at every turn. That they could be so forgiving and loving after all they have endured, is truly amazing to me.
You will find no spoilers in this review, no clues to what will happen. Just know that every minute spent reading this story is worth it! Had I started it at the right time, I would have started and finished in one sitting. I did nothing but devour this book.
While each book manages to give the reader a nice HEA for the moment, they should be read in order as the content flows from one book to the next. And don’t be prepared to be happy when Judge of Hell ends. I just have to keep telling myself, only 3 more months to Emo.
This book gets 5 stars all the way!
Out-freaking-standing!
This is the third book in the Hell Night series. It holds secrets, passion and will question your morals. Judge will be tested. His desire to keep his home town thriving will push his limits to keep those he loves safe.
Alex has such a beautiful, clever and devious mind. She had me on the most fantastic high while reading Judge in Hell. Her ability to rope me in from page one, keep me interested and make me an emotional mess solidified this a spectacular read.
I’m a huge fan of an HEA! Is there one? YES! Is this a standalone? Possibly. However, reading Trouble in Hell and Bitter Sweet Hell first will completely enhance this book. I’m floored by the crafty writing and the outstanding epilogue!!! Omfg so much to say yet I can say so very little without spoiling.
Trust me. This is a must read book of the year. I can’t wait for the Key to Hell to be released in June! Ugh so good. Just wow! So good! Congratulations Alex! I was a fan before but the stakes have been raised to stalker territory! Bwahah
