JudeI faked my way long enough by keeping my mouth shut, painting a fake smile on my face and focusing hard on my job.I quit going out to find that random piece of ass. Not a one of them would stand up to her anyway. She hates me, loathes me even.Little does Vivian Shepard know I’ve got more tricks up my sleeve than she will ever begin to imagine to get her to change her mind, to get my chance.I’m … mind, to get my chance.
I’m not giving up.
I want her, and by God, I’ll fight as dirty as I can get to have her.
No matter what!
Vivian
Of course, I knew it was a one- night stand.
It’s was the perfect night before all hell broke loose to be quite honest.
Drinking, talking and flirting.
One I relished in as I tried to gravitate my mind back to solid ground after soaring so high I could feel the rush of flying.
My stomach dipped, my heart fluttered, and my toes curled inward and then I splattered to the hard surface of the ground.
Jude Westbrooke opened his big fat mouth.
He ruined it, ruined me, ruined it all.

Jude, wow. I don’t even know what to say about Jude. If you haven’t read Riddick yet, I strongly suggest reading it first. Where you can read this as a stand alone, reading Riddick first will give you more of a back story on things. I really enjoyed learning more about Jude and Vivian while still keeping in touch with Riddick and Cora. Now to wait for Tyson! EEEK I can’t wait.
4 Jude Filled Stars!!!
Kathy Coopmans has done it again!! Once I pick up one of her books I can’t put it down. Jude was the same. If you haven’t read Riddick then I’d recommend you read that first. You’ll get their backstory and get everything that led up to this book.
Jude and Vivian spent one fantastic night together. Before Jude went and opened his mouth spewing things he can’t take back. Then, Vivian went and got shot. Vivian goes off to Alaska for the best rehab to get back to normal. Vivian went for six months.
There hasn’t been a day that Jude didn’t think of Vivian. Jude asked everyone about her. Tried finding her. But, couldn’t find out anything about her. Now that Vivian is back he plans on apologizing to Vivian. Jude will do anything to prove to her how stupid he was. And, that she’s it for him.
Vivian wants to hate Jude. But, she just can’t. Jude might be a big bad cop and loo scary to anybody looking his direction. But, looks can be deceiving. Jude is extremely sweet, caring and a special guy. So, when theres a threat Vivian isn’t the type of girl to duck and run for cover. She refuses to leave Jude again. Her place is right next to his.
Once I picked up this book I couldn’t put it down. Jude is just amazing. He’s such a bad ass and is as sweet as can be.ESP him ad his tiny dog. Most guys his size can’t pull off a dog like his LOL. And, Vivian… I LOVED her in Riddick and I love her more after reading this. My only complaint about this book was I’d say the last 10%. It felt rushed to me. There was so much build up and then bam it was over. I felt shorted. But, loved everything else. I can’t wait for the next book.
Oh Kathy Coopmans… once again you write an epically swoon worthy man with a spunky leading lady and come out with something amazing! Jude is one of those books that once you get swallowed into the world that Coopmans created, you really do not want to leave!
I think what I really love about this book is that, while it can be read as a standalone, there are elements from Riddick showing up. You get to look into what’s going on with them! As a whole, I really loved the concept of this story. There are some really epic twists and turns that you do not expect. Some really scorching hot scenes. And finally, an epic love that blossoms from the pain that Jude and Vivian experienced together.
Overall, I am really enjoying this new series, as these men are tough on the outside but marshmallow on the in, especially for their ladies. Jude is exactly that. I highly recommend snagging up this series. You will not be disappointed!
I did not like this one. Could not make myself pass 30% of the book. These chatacters can only speak in page-long senteces and it gets biring veeeery quickly.
Way to much of character thoughts and not enough movement forward in the story.
I read the three books in this series one after the other. Although they are standalone I like to read series books in order. The plots and the characters were totally compelling. I don’t usually cry while reading, but I couldn’t help it with these books. The writing is such that you feel what the characters are feeling. I will definitely read more from this author.
Nothing good to say. The language was so bad I did not read after the first chapter. If you take the f word out the book would be half as long.
