As they begin falling for one another, brought together by the children in their lives, they start seeing family not just as something you’re given, but something you create. And that the heart, no matter how scarred, is always capable of a tender, new beginning. But are they both willing to take a leap of faith to get there?

The third Harlow Brothers book is an emotionally gripping and inspiring romance. Judd and Savannah are both strong, compelling characters that easily capture readers’ attention with their sizzling chemistry but vulnerable and emotionally stunted lives. Due to their pasts both have sort of accepted that the whole happily ever after thing is not for them but they are pulled together not only by their attraction to each other but 2 adorable kids and readers can’t help but get caught up in all the emotional turmoil plaguing this couple but the suspense of whether or not they can let go of the past and grab on to their future with both hands.
The suspense of this couple’s romance builds throughout the book as Savannah past comes calling and throughout the present circumstances surrounding each of the characters’ lives. The children add a soft and adorable touch the story and while the Harlow Brothers stories have been told, hopefully the sister gets her story told too. The author balanced the characters emotional vulnerabilities with strength of characters that readers can’t help but admire and following along as Judd and Savannah’s hearts are opened up is quite heartwarming and inspiring ensuring that readers have to read every last word.
“Families don’t have to be traditional to be loving and secure.”
Another wonderful read in the Harlow Brothers series. Judd is the silent, intense hero but deep down is gentle, kind, and a caretaker. Savannah is a single mother and always worries about the what ifs. Great character development and full of emotions and the importance of family.
Single mother Savannah Casteele has finally caught a break. After her husband walked out on her after the birth of their son, she has saved the funds necessary for four-year old Wyatt’s cleft lip surgery. Her good friend’s brother in law, Judd, has offered to fly them to Chicago for the doctor consultation and surgery. Captain Judd Harlow is a pilot for a major airline and a confirmed bachelor, but his recent interaction with Savannah and Wyatt have made him aware of feelings that he never expected. As he makes time to take his twelve-year old half-sister Maddie to babysit for Wyatt, he finds himself questioning his bachelor status and his growing feelings for Savannah and Wyatt. Judd and his brothers are doing their best to raise Maddie – can he be there for Wyatt as well? He is falling in love with Savannah and knows that she has feelings for him. Can they both let go of the past and have the family that they’ve longed for? A wonderful ending story to the Harlow Brothers, and I look forward to reading other books by Ms. Newell. I enjoyed her writing style and her genuine characters. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author. (by paytonpuppy)
Judd’s Vow by Kaylie Newell
Harlow Brothers #3
Savannah Casteele and her four year old son Wyatt first meet Judd Harlow as they prepare to board his plane. He is flying them to Chicago for a doctor’s appointment that will eventually see Wyatt’s cleft lip surgically repaired. Savannah is scared, Wyatt is bubbly and excited and Judd is rather quiet as his usual flying gigs with Southwest Airlines don’t have him interacting much with passengers. There is definitely attraction between Savannah and Judd but neither one sees a relationship in their life at this point in time.
As the story progresses we hear about Judd’s brothers Luke and Tanner and spend some time with his twelve year old sister Maddie who is wise beyond her years, plays at matchmaking and is a wonderful babysitter. Judd and Savannah spend some time together, get to know one another better and eventually need to determine if there is a way forward for the two of them or not. Savannah’s dream has always been to be a “family” and though her first try with Steven, Wyatt’s father, didn’t work out she is hopeful that in the future…maybe that dream will come true. Judd…well…Judd had to grow up too quickly and his parents were not ideal parent figures so he is a bit leery and guarded and that also plays into whether or not the two will eventually get together.
This is a heartwarming story with a HEA for the couple…once they both figure out what they want and are willing to reach out for one another for the long haul. I have a feeling that had I read the first two books in this series I would have the background information – or some of it – I wanted but did not get in this book though it is easily a standalone story.
Thank you to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the ARC – This is my honest review.
3-4 Stars
Heart warming romance between Judd and Savannah. Judd is a local pilot that has agreed to fly Savannah and her son, Wyatt to Chicago for surgery. Savannah is young single mom, who is very strong and will do anything for her son. Judd, has just moved to Marietta to help care for his young half sister, Maddie. Neither are looking for a relationship, until they are put together with two young children.
Judd, is my everything. I have been waiting for this story since the last book and he did not disappoint me. He is so strong and family is everything to him. Loved his farm with animals. Such a big brother to Maddie. Savannah,is such a devoted mom to Wyatt and needed her HEA!!
All I can say is this is a must read, including the whole series. Love the Harlow brothers, their mom would have been proud of the men that they have become.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from NetGalley.
Judd’s Vow is the third of the Harlow Brothers series by Kaylie Newell and another beautifully written account of the emotional scars that often darken a person’s view on life and the future they deserve, yet somehow believe to be unattainable. Judd Harlow is probably the most tainted of all the Harlow boys by the hardship of growing up too soon and shouldering responsibilities that adults were unable to embrace. As the eldest brother, he understood all to well the disappointment of parental failure and has always felt the loss of their childhood just a little more than Luke and Tanner.
Savannah Casteele also knows disappointment. Married young, divorced soon after, she’s a single mother with a heart full of love to give and guarded emotions bursting to break free, if the right man is willing to give her the family she so desperately yearns. But now isn’t the time, and a surly, generous, rugged and sexy pilot are definitely not going to change her mind.
Kaylie Newell was a brand new author for me when I picked up Tanner’s Promise and became instantly captivated by this family of fractured, yet inexplicably bound siblings that have traversed the turmoil of their youth to become strong, moral and reliable adults. Each book has a multitude of emotions front and centre for all to explore, but despite the hurdles placed in their path, Judd, Luke and Tanner have remained true to their family bond and their determination to raise their 12 year old sister Maddie.
The Harlow Brothers is a truly extraordinary series, with wonderful plots, exceptional characters, and a message in each and every book that touches the heart. And lets not forget Maddie; she’s a vivacious, quirky and loveable pre-teen, who knows that nothing will ever harm her while these breath-taking men are by her side. Heartfelt, emotional and fun, I can’t recommend this series highly enough. Thank you Ms Newell for the Harlows.
This book was an unexpected, wonderful story by an author I had never read before.
It’s part of a series, but know it’s definitely a stand alone.
The story belongs to airline pilot, Judd Harlow and single mom , Savannah Casteele.
Judd, the oldest of the Harlow brothers, had a tough childhood in which he ended up him taking care of his siblings at an early age, but also closed him off to love and marriage. Savannah’s sweet boy needs a surgery for his clef palate and she finally has the money necessary for the surgery. As a favor to his brother and his girlfriend Mary, he flies them to Chicago for the appointment and later surgery.
From that moment on , the attraction is there , but both have emotional baggage.
The story was sweet, at times heartbreaking , at others you will laugh and also cry. But it’s also heartwarming and filled with hope and possibilities.
I promise that like me, you will fall in love with these characters. My only regret is that I have not read the previous books in the series. Something I need to rectify.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Tule Publishing.
The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Let me start by saying, I was hooked right from the start of this book. Savannah Casteele and Judd Harlow met when Judd flew Savannah and her four year old son, Wyatt, to Chicago for Wyatt’s cleft lip surgery. Savannah had given up on men when her ex left shortly after Wyatt was born. She wanted to be the best mother possible, so she worked hard and didn’t date. But when she met Judd, she was surprised by the instant attraction she had for him.
Judd was a pilot who had returned to Marietta to help his brothers raise his half-sister. Judd didn’t have relationships. He didn’t believe in love. But, when he started spending time with Savannah, everything changed. He tried to fight the feelings at first, but just couldn’t get her out of his mind. It was a quick start to a relationship, and there were some rocky parts, but in the end, they found their happily ever after.
This was one of those books that I just didn’t want to end. I became emotionally attached to the characters, especially Wyatt. The writing felt so real. This story reminds me of one of those Hallmark TV Channel movies. I can easily visualize it now. Even though this book is part of a series, it can definitely be read on its own.
Judd’s Vow is the third of the Harlow brothers and brings the reader Judd and Savannah together to form a new family.
Ebook from Netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.
I waited to read/review this book simply because I did not want the Harlow Brothers Series to be over. It is a three book series so full of love and devotion to family. This book like the two books before showcase one of the brothers but also we get a glimpse of course of Marietta and the Harlow family life. Judd is a pilot who is going to fly Savannah and Wyatt to Chicago for his surgery. I read this book once then sat it aside. Then a week later I started Book 1 in this series Tanner’s Promise, then moved into what just might be a movie soon, Luke’s Gift, then I re-read Judd’s Vow. Why you ask? So I could enjoy the gift of the Harlow brothers and the love they have given not only to their step-sister Maddie but to the loves they have found along the way and to the people of Marietta, Montana. And yes to us the readers.
I absolutely love the Harlow men. They really stepped up when their sister, Maddie, needed it the most. Judd’s Vow is about Judd and Savannah. This is a story that will pull at your heartstrings and leave you with a smile on your face. Do yourself a favor and grab this fast, feel-good read.
