Life, death, trauma, healing; the Hell’s Handlers have been through it all over the past year. They’ve conquered old enemies, acquired new ones, and struggled through devastating upheavals. So far, they’ve come out on top, knocking down challenges by focusing on one essential ideal: family above all. With Copper at the helm, the Handlers are a patchwork family of bikers who will fight to the … death for what they’ve created.
And after all they’ve survived over the past three hundred and sixty-five days, the Handlers are ready to lay down their weapons, pick up their drinks, and coast through the holidays with nothing but joy in mind. But as often happens with life in an MC, Christmas takes a back seat to club drama.
As the year rolls to a close, the men and women of the club will experience new life, new chapters in love, and plenty of new beginnings. But not everything is sparkly and bright as dangerous enemies threaten the tight-knit group of rough and rowdy bikers. Will twenty-nineteen end in tragedy, or will the club once again emerge victorious in time to find a little joy for the holidays?

Merry Christmas, Hell’s Handlers style! This book isn’t your typical romance, following one couple finding their HEA. Rather, it is more of a “catch up” with all of the couples we have come to love, as we’ve read their stories. Don’t get me wrong, there is still plenty of MC action and danger involved, and there is still a story line to follow, but I enjoyed visiting with old friends!
This story isn’t told from one character, or even one couple’s point of view. Instead, it moves from character to character, whomever happens to be involved at the time. (It could have been confusing, but the author avoided that by helpfully labeling each section with the person’s name that was telling the story at the time!) I had absolutely no trouble following along, and quite enjoyed getting everyone’s input!
As much as I loved catching up with previous characters, and was hoping for a peaceful, happy Christmas for all of them, life in the Hell’s Handlers MC doesn’t work like that. There is danger, intrigue, and hints at things to come, as well as a few surprises (both good and bad) that we have come to expect from this group! But mostly, this story is about family, (the one they have made!) pulling together, supporting one another, in good times and bad. It made for an amazing Christmas story!

Joy was the seventh book in Lilly Atlas’ Hell’s Handlers MC series. It was a quick but action filled Christmas update for all of our MC favorites.
Atlas wrote it from various perspectives with each MC member and old lady having a voice. True to form, there was also an MC conflict that will carry over into the series. Although anything but lighthearted, it was great to catch up with each couple as well as get set up for future books.
Additionally, Atlas gave us a bonus regarding Viper. It wasn’t his full story so I’m hoping we’ll get the full story soon. It’s an emotional one, but I totally want more. I want it all!
What a special MC holiday. This book was filled with so many emotions, I cried both happy and sad tears, laughed and was on the edge of my seat. I just love this MC family. I can’t wait to read more.
We absolutely loved this story from beginning to end as Lilly is one hell of a storyteller. This story was intriguing and one filled with love and romance and a whole lot of sexiness but, the story also had you laughing and shedding a few tears along the way to.
I loved how this story was all about each individual MC member and their old ladies that took place around the Christmas Holiday Season and we loved seeing what family traditions they have or are creating .I have to say that Maverick made me laugh my butt off throughout this story as he is definitely was one sexy tall drink of water with a whole lot of kink and we loved his wicked sense of humor and his sex-escapades with Steph were down right hilarious.”What a way to celebrate the holiday !” “you are one lucky girl Steph.”
Copper I wanted to kick his a** for begin and a** but, realized soon enough that this man was just riddled with and overwhelming amount of fear not only for his club but, more for his family and wife and we loved seeing a vulnerable side to Copper as he is down right scary most times and a force to be reckoned but, seeing him this way melted our heart.
Lizzy and Jigsaw are one of my favorite couple and begin there with them on their final journey to parenthood was down right emotional but, it was also down right hilarious especially with the other old ladies trying everything and anything to bring on Lizzie’s labor.
Screw when are you going to stop begin as a** when it comes to Jazzy “Hum”?I see one hot explosive read for this couple in the future when they finally stop tango-ing around with one another.Holy Hotness ! and they are not even having sex! lol
Viper and Mamma V your story broke my heart but, with the love that you both share for one another that is so overwhelming the odds are in you favor!
For us this was the perfect holiday tale.We loved seeing glimpses of all the lives or our favorite MC characters and how their lives are changing more and more some of them making life changing decisions others marriage and family and so forth.
Little Beth after all this time still melts our heart and we love how she still has all her uncles wrapped around her little finger. As I was finishing up this story one thing came to mind and that was that these men are some lucky son of bitches to have found these amazing women thy call their own as they are all strong and capable and loyal and compassionate and loving and are just as protective of the men and the club as there old man are.We love this bunch of old ladies as they are all simply amazing !
Overall we can’t say enough about how much we loved this story and the characters within it!
Lilly I’m gonna start off by saying I have shed a few tears during this book. The way way you wrote this story I could just feel all of their emotions down to my bones. This book has a lot that happens some good, and some not so good. We get to get caught up with all of our favorite characters, and even get to meet a few more. All the men are still just as alpha and hot with their take charge attitudes. Let’s not forget about our sweet, sassy, and kick ass heroines who keep our favorite men in check.
Joy Hell’s Handlers MC #7 by Lilly Atlas was a great holiday read filled with love and emotion , as you follow each couple of the Hell’s Handlers MC during the Christmas season. The club led by Copper who is this no nonsense tough gruff President is trying to put the last year behind his club, one that was filled with death, trauma, chaos as well as fighting enemies old and new. Will these larger than life bikers be able to put all of the disorder behind them so they can come together as a family and celebrate the holiday season with loved ones for one day? Or will club drama halt the festivities as danger is once again coming to these tough bikers and their feisty women, will they be able to overcome the mayhem and celebrate the holiday?. These stories that focused on each couple was filled with emotion, passion, celebration, heartache and laughter for some. You will become immersed into the lifes of these couples as you follow Copper/Shell, Maverick/Steph, Jigsaw/Lizzy, Zack/Toni and my favorite couple Viper/Mama V. We will have to wait and see what transpires between Screw/Jazzy with all of their banter and sexual tension that surrounds them. Between all of the new beginnings and celebrations some hard decisions will be made for one. Will this band of bikers and the strong women who stand with them get the happiness each are fighting for or will disaster once again come to the Hell’s Handlers MC. Can’t wait for the next book to find out what is in store for these men that make up the Hell’s Handlers MC. You will love this warmhearted Christmas story from beginning to end. I voluntairly reviewed an advanced copy of this book
Merry Christmas Hells Handlers!
oh I have missed these guys! it was lovely seeing them again and experiencing their highs and lows at Christmas with them. Of course their festive plans are not going to run smoothly with a new MC encroaching on their territory, new baby arriving (that was hilarious, love Izzy!!), an idiotic President that really needs to think carefully before opening his mouth and a storyline that run along in the background that made me cry.
Lilly brought her usually twists, turns, suspense, love, loyalty, friendship, family and brotherhood to this one. Throughout it all you could really feel the love and connection between them all seeping out the pages.
I will be honest, one storyline that ran along in the background really hit me close to home and I had to put the book down for a while as I couldn’t read through my tears. I wont spoil it for you but have tissues and alcohol handy.
Joy is the Christmas installment of the Hell’s Handlers series. It doesn’t focus on just two main characters, it’s told from all of the previous characters’ point of view. You get to catch up with all of your favourite couples and see where they are in their lives, along with all of their ups and downs. However, our favourite MC is now facing a new threat, possibly bigger than any other they’ve encountered. As usual, Lilly Atlas has you laughing, wanting to cry and feeling everything her characters feel. Joy does not disappoint and I absolutely cannot wait for the next installment.
This was absolutely a Christmas novel… Hell’s Handlers’ style. In no way shape or form was this a cutesy, fluffy, bubble-gum biker story, but written from almost every character’s POV it told each persons story in the run up to Christmas. Of course there are plenty of sweet and romantic moments, but there is also lots of drama and a threat to the club that I imagine will be dealt with in the next book, whoever that may be about. I’m not going to give away any details of any plots, I will just say that I was surprised by some characters’ actions but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, and despite it being from many different POV’s it was very easy to follow as each was essentially their own story. I can’t wait to see who Lilly writes about next and I give Joy 5 stars.
5 stars
I have loved every entry into the Hell’s Handlers MC series but this book… this book has it, or rather, them all. That’s right, Lilly Atlas gives readers Christmas early with a book that gives us time to catch up with ALL our favorite couples! Not just seeing them in the clubhouse either, but chapters dedicated to showing us where they are now and it’s AWESOME! I loved every single word, even then ones that made me cry! We even get an epic short story of the start of a fave couple at the end.
But wait…there’s more, a new enemy has arrived in town to threaten the peace the Handlers’ have worked so hard to build but no one’s giving up easily! Can’t wait for the next chapter in the wonderful story of this club!

Merry Christmas Hells Handlers!!
It was so great to see where all the men and their women are and believe me these people have been very busy. We have babies being born, pregnancies, engagements and marriage. Oh, don’t think this is all sunshine and roses though because besides one very sad storyline the Hells Handlers MC has a new MC looking to come into their territory and they have been stalking their ole ladies. There is a war on the horizon which they are preparing for. After all Crank and his crew have done to them things are going to go crazy right after the holidays.
I cannot wait to see what comes next for all of these hot alpha men and the women they love. I highly recommend this book.
I give this a 3.5
This is the seventh book in the Hell’s Handlers MC series. These are usually stand alones, but this one I think you should read the others first.
I say that because we get chapters from every previous character, this isn’t just about one couple. It’s the entire MC.
Don’t let the title fool you. There is a little Joy in it, but not a ton.
I’m on the fence about this book. I don’t like what’s happening to Cassie. I was happy for Izzy and Shell. I was mad at Copper. What’s going on in Screw’s head.
I loved the pornaments.
We also got a short called Viper at the end of this. It’s just a quick story about how Viper and Cassie met. It wasn’t the best of circumstances either.
I am curious about what happened once they left that hotel room and made their way to the Handlers.
Another fantastic addition to the series! I absolutely loved catching up with all of the characters from the previous books. There was drama, fighting, crying and most all love. Fantastic holiday drama done Hell’s Handler’s style!
OMG what a fabulous book. I usually put this at the end, if it applies, but let me tell you that I can’t recommend this book enough. While it is a standalone, I my humble opinion it’s a much better reading experience I’d suggest starting with book 1, Zach. “Joy” was just that for me a Joy to read. Oh don’t get me wrong, there was still a lot of thrilling biker actions as once again the Hell’s Handlers are heading for trouble, but what a heartfelt read.
It’s Christmas time. A time for Joy, but club life doesn’t seem to matter what time of year it is. In this story we get to reconnect with all the Hell’s Handlers and their ol’ ladies. Each is dealing with their own personal issues that are happening the week of Christmas as well as issues happening with the club. I don’t want to spoil the story so I’ll just say this is an amazing read. It will have you on edge at times and warm your heart on others. We see the hard side as well as the tender side of all these amazing alpha bikers. Copper, the Prez, is determined to give his brothers a peaceful holiday but with new threats in town is that even possible?
Kudos Ms. Atlas for giving us a very well written storyline that was just what this MC Romance lover needed during the holidays. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for an amazing biker Christmas time romance that you Don’t want to miss out on.
Wow, what a brilliant book.
It was so great to see all the couples and catch up with them.
I had tears. I couldn’t help laughing at many. And I smiled.
Lilly Atlas did amazing job on this book.
I can’t wait to see what comes next.
It’s the Holiday Season but that doesn’t mean things are Merry and Bright for the Hell’s Handlers, it’s quite the opposite in fact. I didn’t make it through the first chapter without breaking down in tears, for me this chapter hits WAYYYYYYY to close to home. Shit I’m tearing up already and I’m just trying to write my review, I’m sure most of you wont be as affected by it as I was and I wont go into details because I will not drop any spoilers just have some tissues nearby just in case.
This book focuses on ALL of the Hell’s Handlers previous couples and club members and it told from various points of view. I loved catching up with everyone as they get ready to celebrate Christmas, but if you think this is just one giant love fest it’s not. There is a new MC in town and that can only mean trouble for the Hell’s Handlers. There is also a visitor from someone’s past that shows up right before Christmas, is it a Christmas Miracle?
If you haven’t read any of the previous books in the series I wouldn’t advise you reading this book yet, but if you have (I’ve only read two previously Zach and Little Jack) and their the ones closest to this one I would say go for it.
Happy Reading!!!
This is the 7th book in this phenomenal series and is a catch up of all the characters and shows that no matter what life throws at them, they are always all there for each other. This is a well written story which is intriguing and with danger, surprises and an abundance of love. I was hooked and intrigued throughout and highly recommend for all MC lovers.
***ARC Reader Review***
Five stars!!! Joy was a real joy to read. No pun intended 🙂 Lilly Atlas did an amazing job with this book. Joy is a book with stories from all the Hell’s Handlers and there ladies during the Christmas season. From Zach and Toni all the way to Screw and Jazz’s budding connection. So many life changes events for the Handlers; Some of great happiness while others are full heartbreaking tears. Chapter 1 just killed me. What a way to start a book, Lilly! I love how this non-blood family supports each other. I also love the way Lilly can write from so many different character POVs without confusing the reader at all.
I do recommend you read the books in order (Zach, Maverick, Jigsaw, Copper, Rocket, Little Jack and Joy). It will help with context and background understand of characters.
I cannot wait of the next book for the Hell’s Handlers MC. Lilly gave us a very interesting taste of Screw and Jazz’s story in Joy. I cannot wait for their book! #FingersCrossed
This book was amazing!!! Joy was absolutely a JOY to read! In this book we revisit all of the club brothers and their old ladies. It was heaven getting a bit more insight into all of our favorite couples lives. With a new danger lurking, the brothers will be in a fight for it all. There is new life, impending death and danger in this book, it is another MUST READ!!
This was a great Christmas read.
I enjoyed this book catching up with all the members of the MC . The arrival of a brand new baby girl for Izzy and Rocket . And the news of a new addition to copper and shells family. Mav and Steph are probably my favorite couple and like all things that come with the good the bad follows. Things are heating up with the MC and once again the boys will do everything they can to protect those they love.
