Lalita thinks she’s in a reality TV show. Tate thinks she’s lost her mind.
“TINGLES! Yes… this book gave me TINGLES! That’s what I love in a romance novel and so many books fall short. I’m not looking for explicit sex. I’m looking for TINGLES! And this book definitely gave me TINGLES!”
“A charming, clean romance with lots of plot turns and twists to hold my interest.”
“I can say this woman is a fantastic writer!!! The story is fast moving and quite incredible.”

It was great through the whole thing but fell off right at the end. Still, worth a read.
Great story. Love time travel in the 18th century.USA.
Was so good (even as a stand alone) that I went directly to my Kindle Unlimited to get the second and third books. A must read if you love time travel books like I do. Thanks Bookbub for putting this out for me.
A sweet story with juxtapositions of social standards present and past.
What I did not enjoy was the (spoiler!!) rather sudden revelation of the birthmark as the shared talisman that enables their time tripping, and the incredible coincidence of the doctor’s two wives being time travelers. I do not believe the doctor would have altered into the man for whom our heroine leaves it all behind & stays with him – with just a letter of explanation from wife number one for her disappearance. She committed suicide in the original time travel experience. That would be my definition of a significant emotional experience that alters him sufficiently to accept a woman from the future.
It was a wonder romantic book. You can see the characters fall in love.
Slow and plodding
