But Everly’s mother convinces her otherwise. She deserves a vacation—plus, when she returns, she’ll have no excuse to skip family Christmas like she did last year.

Not even Asher Adams, the ship’s charming naturalist, can convince Everly that the trip will be unforgettable. Slowly but surely, she realizes he is right: the sights are spectacular. And with each passing day, Everly’s relationship with Asher deepens, forcing her to take a long, hard look at her priorities.

This was a charming and heartwarming Christmas tale. Once I got over being mad at Everly’s assistant, I saw the good in the trip she sent Everly on. The magic of the holidays and a stress free trip down the Amazon worked wonders for her and Asher. They find love and the possibilities of a new future together if they’re willing to take the chance.
Everly is a workaholic. She never takes a vacation, rarely spends time with her family, and never steps outside her comfort zone. Until she’s forced to take a month off work and her assistant schedules her for a cruise. And not just any cruise. Not the type of cruise she packed for. And so far out of her comfort zone. Murphy’s Law strikes – if it can go wrong, it will. But she meets Asher, who makes the trip more enjoyable. There are sparks, but she’s a big city girl and he’s not one for big cities. Can they overcome the obstacles, make comprises, and see if there could be a relationship?
I really enjoyed this book, Christmas was only the last 3rd of the book though, I like Christmas books to be from start to finish, that being said, it was still very good.
I love the book. Debbie Macomber is a talented author and has more knowledge of the Amazon than I ever wanted to know. Daisy sure gets in a lot of mishaps that makes one wonder how she managed a company so efficiently, but the proof is in the pudding, and Annette should have stayed fired. Asher sounds like a hunky without a clue what he is missing in life, but eventually they both get it so right!
This is a delightful tale about a bad situation turning out good. Everly’s assistant was out for revenge when she booked Everly on an Amazon River cruise instead of a luxurious cruise. Everly made the most of it and discovered some truths about herself. Her antics on the cruise will bring a smile to your face. And just like a Hallmark movie, the boy comes to his senses and pursues the girl to win her over.
Everly Lancaster has created the life she has always wanted from the time she changed her given name, Daisy, to something more sophisticated and worldly: Everly. A workaholic, she co-owns a top selling Chicago real estate company with Jack Campbell, a long-time friend and colleague. Everly shoulders the late nights, firings and problems that Jack finds distasteful. But when his niece, Annette is hired as Everly’s assistant with Jack’s recommendation, things go south fast.
Lazy, spoiled and incompetent, Annette bungles a very important event, so Everly insists on her termination. Jack balks, finding it distasteful to fire his niece. He insists Everly needs a vacation and demands she takes off the entire month of December. A contrite Annette books a cruise for Everly, who agrees she might need some time to unwind on a nice relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, the cruise is anything but relaxing. No internet, no telephone, no amenities and no way to leave the ship. But the good news is there is a naturalist onboard, Asher Adams, who is very handsome and very interesting. Maybe the trip won’t be as bad as it seems – or it might just be worse than she ever imagined.
From the first chapters, the interesting characters and unusual situations pulled me in and didn’t let go. Jingle All The Way is not your typical Christmas novel, which makes it interesting and charming with a satisfying end. It is the perfect holiday story that will make you chuckle; make you sniffle and make you want to read just one more chapter to see what is happening next. I highly recommend it.
Debbie Newcomber is a familiar name because she is a best-selling author with thirteen novels reaching #1 on the NYT bestseller lists. Five of her Christmas novels are now beloved movies that can be seen on the Hallmark Channel. Ms. Newcomber pulls readers into her books, with her heartwarming characters and stories.

Everly Lancaster has always been an overachiever having grown up on a farm she always dreamed of living in the city. She is living a busy life in Chicago running an online real estate agency called Easy Home. She met Jack Campbell six years ago while they were both business students and became partners in this start up project.
It seems she has taken on more of the responsibilities as Jack becomes less involved. Unfortunately, he hired his sister’s daughter, Annette Howington to work as her assistant. After much patience and embarrassing mishaps she decides Annette needs to be let go. Jack decides instead that Everly is overwhelmed and needs a vacation. He has Annette schedule her a two week vacation “somewhere warm” and not giving her much time to back out or say no with all the plans made for her.
She always dreads going home to the farm for the holidays. She is the middle child of five with two twin younger brothers Jeff and John and two older sisters Rose and Lily. Escaping her quiet farm life for the big city she also changed her name from Daisy to Everly. In Indiana, she feels she doesn’t fit in with her brothers working the farm with her father and sisters who are married with kids.
When Everly is sent on an unexpected Amazon Explorer cruise in Brazil she is forced to reevaluate her life. She manages to handle the media free nightmare vacation with the help of Asher Adams the cruise naturist. She slowly begins to make the best of the situation and finds she really did need a break from the craziness of the city.
When both Everly and Asher discover they have feelings for each other things go sideways. They are both independent and devoted to their jobs. Will they be able to work out their differences to try to make their relationship work? Does the spirit of the holidays bring back special memories?
Another delightful story by Debbie Macomber about family traditions, love and new beginnings.

Jingle All The Way by Debbie Macomber is about Everly Lancaster, Real Estate executive who is totally stressed…middle sister with no mate, ditzy vengeful assistant, avoiding family Christmas. Her business partner tells her to take the month of December for vacation…assistant plan vacation only it’s not on some sunny beach but…cruising down the Amazon River! Where she meets Asher Adams, the naturalist on the ship….friendship develops and grows into something more and find that sometimes love happens in the most unexpected places…or when the trip ends they go their separate ways…only time will tell…
Love Debbie’s books.
Everly has worked her way up in the internet real estate market, She works long hours at the company she and her college friend have started. When she hires her partners niece as her assistant it sets up the events that will be life changing. When she tries to let his niece go to assume a different position within the company her partner convinces her to take the month of December off.
With visions of a tropical cruise dancing in her minds eye she allows his niece the chance to redeem herself and book her trip. After an air trip from hell complete with multiple transfers and one lay over she arrives just in time for the ship to set sale. When she is shown to her cabin she finds out not only has she been booked on an extreme adventure cruise into the rain forest she is also too late to get off. She is trapped with no Wi-Fi service and no way to get off at a port that would allow her to travel back to civilization.
When Everly becomes sick from a mosquito bite the naturalist/guide Asher takes care of her. As she recovers they get to know each other and find an attraction. Asher is concerned because she is a city girl at heart. A women who fled her rural farm community as soon as she was able. He breaks her heart when it is time to return to port.
Everly had planned to go home for Christmas and is eager to do so after reevaluating what is important in life. She was willing to compromise to have a relationship with Asher. When she gets home she is determined to work on reconnecting with her family and decide what her future holds.
I enjoyed the trip down the amazon with all the side adventures along with descriptions of wildlife and fauna.
– another great Christmas romance from Debbie Macomber, and it brims with her distinctive humor – Debbie tells us in her introductory letter that this novel and characters arose from her own river cruises and travel to Antarctica.
What brings two unlikely people, naturalist Asher and businesswoman Everly, together? Will they merely be ships passing in the night?
For vicarious transcontinental adventure, romance, and a satisfying ending, savor Jingle All the Way.
To say this book is anything but FANTASTIC would be a bold faced lie! Debbie Macomber has outdone herself again! This book has all the elements that you could ask for. It will make you laugh and cry. get happy and mad. Hope for the best, and expect nothing less! I love this book and so will you! Thank you for writing another wonderful book!
Everly Lancaster is a successful business woman, a workaholic. She and her business partner have established themselves as a highly successful on-line real estate company. Everly shoulders the primary interface with clients and is on the verge of burn out (thanks in a large part to Annette, her assistant and the niece of her partner Jack), when Jack orders her to take a vacation for the month of December: go on a cruise, visit her family for Christmas. When she agrees, she doesn’t expect the cruise Annette books for her. Instead of a relaxing luxury cruise, Annette has booked her on an eco-cruise on a 40-passenger boat to sail down the Amazon River in Brazil, with side trips into the jungle. Not quite the resting and rejuvenating cruise she was planning for.
The only bright spot on the cruise is Asher Adams, the ships naturalist who is knowledgeable, caring and oh so handsome. The first few days of the cruise are disastrous, but once she’s settled in and recuperated, Everly finds the trip, and Asher, fascinating. While their relationship grows, they realize they come from two different worlds, worlds that neither wants to give up. Both need to do some serious soul searching about their priorities and their future. To sort their thoughts, Everly goes home to Indiana to spend Christmas with her family and Asher heads for Chicago to visit his older brother.
I usually love Debbie Macomber Christmas books, but I found this one less to my liking. The first part of the book was entertaining and interesting – the ornery assistant, the catastrophic beginning to the cruise, her relationship with Asher. The last part of the book just didn’t fit with the beginning. I felt it was too forced in trying to come up with a Christmas link. I have no idea how the title related to the book. I give the book 3 stars for the entertaining beginning, but I can’t recommend it as a Christmas book. She has so many more Christmas-themed books that are much more enjoyable. I received the book from NetGalley as an Advanced Reader Copy. The opinion is my own.
Jingle All the Way was a great read by Debbie Macomber. Everly has always had big dreams. She is now a top real estate executive who does everything for her career. But that doesn’t leave much for anyone around her. Everly’s boss can sense that she is stressed and tells her too take December off. She reluctantly takes her vacation but let’s her inept assistant book the cruise she will go on. She never thought that her assistant would look to get revenge on her and book her a cruise on the Amazon. There is no WiFi and she is stuck in the rain forest. She is looking to get out of the cruise and even the handsome naturalist, Asher, can change her mind. They can’t take her back and she tries to make the best of the situation. It seems like she’s having a great time and she seems to get closer to Asher. I really enjoyed reading Everly and Asher getting closer and taking a look at what is important to them. I can’t wait to read more by Debbie Macomber.
When I see a book by Debbie Macomber, it goes right on my to be read list & she never disappoints. In this story, Everly has gone from middle child to a driven executive. Her boss insists she take a month off since she hasn’t taken a vacation in forever. Everly hasn’t always been the most pleasant to work with if you don’t do your job well. A vengeful assistant books her on a cruise but doesn’t tell her it’s a trip down the Amazon.
Ascher is the naturalist in a two week trip to the Amazon. He loves spreading his knowledge & trying to raise awareness of the area. He could tell Everly was out of place & tried to help her out. As the trip continues, their feelings begin to deepen. At the end, will they go their separate ways or give their relationship a chance? Will Everly go back to her old ways or use her newly awakened knowledge?
I love Debbie Macomber’s holiday books ( along with all her others). This book is exceptionally written with characters that need to learn what is important in life. Travel with Everly on an adventure she ( nor you) will not soon forget. Fabulous book to prep for the holidays! Enjoy!

Everly Lancaster is a workaholic. Her business partner forces her to take a vacation and she gets tricked into taking a cruise in South America. She faces one some trying and awful experiences but there is one bright spot – naturalist Asher Adams.
Dedicated romance lovers will enjoy this story. It has an interesting setting and enjoyable characters. For me there were a few parts that were just too far-fetched.. Thanks to Ballantine Books for an ARC. The opinions expressed are my own.
Everly AKA “Daisy” has lived the life of a workaholic. Forced to take time off work, she travels and meets the most unexpected man. When disaster strikes, is it more than her heart at risk?
Asher has traveled the world. Mostly a loner, he finds he does well in his isolated lifestyle. Meeting the most important woman never even entered his thoughts. Now that he has, he has no idea what to do about it.
The mot unlikely couples tend to be the very best ones, in my opinion. This story was very much that in so many ways. Always a favorite one click author for me, this holiday jaunt into the pages was an unexpectedly slow burn of epic proportions. The characters were fun and had depth, if you get past the belittling characters in the front of the book. Worth the read however, as it hits the HEA jackpot before it ends.

Everly Lancaster is co-owner of an online real estate company. She is married to her job working 60 plus hour weeks. After her co-owner assigns his niece to work as an assistant to Everly, Everly becomes very frustrated. The niece is incompetent and She can’t get rid of her. Instead Everly is place on 30-day vacation leave and sent to a “luxury cruise”. The cruise is on Amazon River and isn’t close to luxurious. What starts out as a disaster turns into what may be the meeting with the love of her life.
This is a sweet little Christmas romance. Enjoyable read.
Not what I expected. Ok book. Had nothing to do with Christmas.
