Omg omg omg. Tess did it again.
I can not believe how she wrote this book. I cried. I was mad. I wanted to just shake nico. Omg I love this book. I am so sad for the oar. So sad for the town and specially zane.
Everyone needs to read this book. It will show you humanity. It will show you unconditional love. It will show you that everyone isnt what you think.
Do Not Judge A Book By Its Cover is extremely important in how to are with people.
I love you Mrs. Tess Thompson.
This series gets better with each novel. Nico and Sophie are well matched. I can’t wait to find out how that fire really started and what’s in store for Judi. Loved every last word.
A fantastic storyline keep me fully engaged during the time I couldn’t seem to put this book down. The loveable Sophie finally gets her chance with her crush Nico and the heat between the two of them is undeniable. Several twists and turns kept me guessing.
Welcome back to Cliffside Bay! In this town, strangers are friends, and friends are family. This book mainly follows Nico & Sophie, with lots of special appearances from the rest of The Wolves, The Dogs and “The Wags” who love them. While Nico is not my favorite character, the story is as solid as ever, following the “usual formula”-guy/girl gets hurt in the past and can’t see what’s great right before their eyes. Having read the previous 8 books in the series, did I know what was going to happen? Yes. Did I enjoy the story anyway? Absolutely!
Heartbreak changes a person, and can take time to heal… but when you’ve got friends for family, it is possible
Cliffside Bay is where I want to be — All the time!
You know you’re in for it when you read the first couple of chapters and get sucked back into the world an author has built and fostered for so long. I’ve found points to connect with so many of the characters but this time…. Nico is my soul brother!
I get it… denying what you want because it’s “not right”, “they’re too young”, “what are you thinking”, “just slowly back away and no one will get hurt”… UMMM yeah but someone always does until you realize that life is full of curve balls and sometimes you just can’t pass up something so incredibly special!
Sophie is a beautiful character… sure she’s young in years but her soul has seen so much and grown so much more quickly than the calendar would ever allow.
No sense in fighting it kiddos – Nico and Sophie are meant to be. If you’ve read any of the other Cliffside Bay stories or not this one is a must read.
Grab your kleenex, a bottle of wine, and kick the family out of the house for the day and enjoy!
We have been waiting for Sophie’s story since she walked into Maggie and Zane’s lives as their long lost sister. She has always be the youngest old soul in Cliffside Bay and Jilted just showed us more of that kind and wise woman.
Sophie had a dream about the man she would call her soul mate when she was a young girl. She knew from the moment that she meant Nico he was meant to be together. Nico however was very reluctant to start anything with Sophie because of the age difference and because he just didn’t believe he was enough.
You are going to love reading how Sophie shows Nico that love has no age limit and that everyone is worthy of it!
Sophie had a dream about the love of her life when she was young. When she finally met him she wouldn’t give up on him even though he constantly pushed her away as anything more than a friend. It came to a point where she was ready to walk away and move on if he couldn’t see what was right in front of him. Nico was emotionally hurt from his last marriage. So much that he didn’t think it was worth the risk to love again. Until one night when tragedy struck. Was this what Nico needed to see he could love again and it was worth the risk?
I’ve read this entire series and each book is amazing. The characters are relatable and the story lines make you feel like you are right there in Cliffside. This can be read as a standalone but I recommend starting at the beginning.
I love the story of Nico and Sophie. She has given so much for so many. He had his heart ripped out by his ex fiance.
When she moved to Cliffside she feel hard for Nico. She knew he was her soulmate the first time she laid her eyes on him. He let their age gap keep them apart for too long.
Follow Nico and Sophie as they overcome loss and fall in love.
Heart pounding, soul shattering goodness.
Simply AMAZING! I don’t even know how Tess Thompson does it, but no one else can deliver a story like her. She is one of a kind. A true gift for heartfelt stories that stay with you even after the last page is turned. I devoured the words on these pages as fast as I could. I’m simply amazed at the depth and range of emotions Tess Thomson was able to make me feel.. with words alone.
Jilted is a hit you in the heart kind of read. Tess Thompson ALWAYS leaves you yearning for more.
Cliffside Bay is such a special series to me. The characters are more like family. I’ve been on this amazing journey with each and every one of them. I honestly can’t wait for what’s next! This is a must read series!!
You need to meet Nico and Sophie in Cliffside Bay. Jilted is the latest in the series. If you love small towns, quirky characters you must read Jilted. Cliffside Bay is a wonderful place and Tess Thompson’s great stories make you want to pack your bags and move there just so you can meet everyone.
Another delightful tale from Cliffside Bay…this one is Sophie and Nico’s. I especially liked Sophie, with her hippy mama and belief in true love and magic…Tess Thompson weaves a wonderful love story with just the right amount of humor, angst and a bit of heat…I loved it!
Sophie dreamt of her soul mate when she was 8. Nico was dumped just before his wedding. Sophie knew as soon as she laid eyes on Nico that he is her one true love. Now she must make him, and the rest of the wolves, see also. Their love story is complicated, and not without heartache and tragedy, but it is one that will stand the test of time. Everytime I come back to Cliffside Bay, I am home. It is a must read!
Wow. Honestly I was a bit skeptical about how this book would present, seeing how it is the 9th in the series. I usually get very bored after a few books with the same storyline, but this book did not disappoint! Each book has its own vibe and keeps you reading from start to finish! I love that this book had a little more sex appeal than the others; nothing like spicing it up a little! This is romance after all!
I liked continuing with the series but this one moved slower in plot development and characters. I wanted to give the characters a good shove!
Another beautiful love story added to the Cliffside Bay Series.. We always knew Sophie and Nicos story was coming and I love that the Author gave Sophie time to grow up and Nico did too… you won’t be disappointed.. it’s a well rounded and written love story between 2 beautiful characters.. You can’t go wrong with starting from the beginning of the Cliffside Bay Series where you’ll read about several others love story and get a sneak peek in some of them of the beginning of Sophie and Nicos journey and their first kiss..
This author writes another grand slam love story. The characters are solid and relateable. The attraction and frustration between Nico and Sophie is very much tangible. Jilted is easy to read. The reader will hate to put it down. Although it is im a series, Jilted can be read as a stand alone.
I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review
Jilted is the 9th book in the Cliffside Bay series. Tess has really outdone herself. I loved this book! It is a love story between Nico and Sophie. Nico is a broken man who doubts his self worth. Sophie is very strong willed and full of sunshine and spunk. Sophie is completely in love with Nico but has to convince him that their age difference is just a number and that they are good for one another. Nico is worried that Sophie will leave him, just like his first fiance did (for her female best friend). Mrs. Coventry, Nico’s landlord, gives Sophie advice on love and how to convince Nico that the two of them belong together. Such a beautiful love story! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
Another great one! I don’t know what I’m going to do when this series ends!!! Thank you again Ms. Thompson!
Nico Bentley wants his heart to heal after his fiancé left him for the Maid of Honor . Sophie Woods is head over heals in love with Nico but he thinks she is too young… or is it just that he doesn’t risk a broken heart again?
Be ready with a box of tissues, this one is a tear jerker! This book was a page turner for me, and I was surprised when I went to turn the page and it said The End. Ms. Thompson once again delivers a 5 star sequel in the Cliffside Bay series. This is book 9 in the series. You can read this book alone but in my opinion, you will get more out of it if you start with book one. Every book introduces new characters, and it is fun to read the books they are introduced in to get the full back story.
“Thank you to the author and publisher for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.”
This is a must read. Had me hooked.
Nico has been burned. After his break up he has can’t trust that a woman will stick around. Sophie is too young for him but he can’t shake the feelings he has.
Sophie is an old soul. She has done more than most at a young age. She knows she has found her one. Nico just can’t see it yet.
Will she be able to convince him that they belong together?
This was a great read. I look forward to more! There a questions that need to be answered soon!!
