Forever doesn’t exist. It’s just what people tell themselves to make the now a little more bearable”.
If it’s one that I can depend on, is this author’s ability to suck you in with her brilliant storytelling! There is no doubt that from the very first page, you’ll be hooked, line and sinker and you will want nothing more than to stay in these characters world.
Jersey has had a rough childhood that would make any adult heart break. From being in the care of different foster families to having to survive on her own, this woman has done it all and been through it all. Life was never too kind to her but she found a way to fight back and keep her ahead above water. When she meets a mysterious man who’s somehow connected to her past, Jersey will find herself uncovering more than a lifetime of secrets.
Ian Cooper is a rock god and one of the most beloved musicians in his time. He’s rich, handsome, and he has millions of adoring fans that would do anything for him. To say that he’s on top of the world right now would be an understatement. When a quick trip to Newark New Jersey has him meeting a feisty tough homeless woman, Ian does something that would change the course of their lives and embark them on a journey that will be filled with revenge, love and justice.
I really liked that this story was completely different and that there was a bit of mystery to it. These characters were strong willed, passionate, infuriating at times, and loved with everything that they had. Nothing was ever easy when it came their dynamic and their true strength showed.
If you’re looking for a sexy revenge filled rock star romance with a bit of suspense, then this one is for you.
What a story. This is a very emotional read. My favorite line is:
“We never stop looking back to regain perspective, to find gratitude.”

My Review:
I am grappling for the appropriate words to describe this cleverly crafted and emotionally stunning book. It devastated me and turned me inside out and wouldn’t let go. I am rattled and in knots, yet I reveled in the totality of the experience.
The storylines were complicated and all kinds of twisted with tragedy and life-altering misery and were laced together with a cast of complex and deeply damaged characters who were not always likable but were extremely compelling. I was taut with tension and fully invested as I cringed, gasped, bit my cuticles, and gritted my teeth. It was worth the distress and every prickle of unease as the writing was ingeniously perceptive and packed a powerful punch. Jewel E. Ann has achieved a new level of sorcery – her word voodoo is without equal.
Wow…..This will be tough to review without giving anything away but here goes…..I really enjoyed this book. For awhile I was doubtful. This is not a light romance. No hearts and flowers. No swoony dialogue. The best way to describe this is gritty romantic suspense. Some parts were hard to read and others made my heart hurt. There is some intense subject matter within these pages. Jersey is our heroine. A horrific past has molded her into an unapologetic survivor. She is tough in body and spirit. I felt terrible for her experiences, respected the hell out of her, and loved her flashes of vulnerability. Strangely, though, for most of the book I didn’t LIKE her. Ian and Chris are the primary male characters. One is her love interest. To say who may spoil so……sorrynotsorry. The writing is spot on and story development well-paced. The revelations in the plot were shocking and unexpected. I never could have guessed the twists and turns this story would take. If you’re looking for a romance well off the beaten path…you just found it.

Jersey Six is a masterpiece of love, lies, and revenge.
Jewel E. Ann is becoming a must read for me -I don’t even need to read the synopsis anymore…she’s to that level with me – I will read her blindly!
This book blew me away – I LITERALLY read this book in one day, six to seven hours on my couch, reading, and reading. I was so totally sucked in from the first page.
Jewel E. Ann set us up with a tangled mess of lies, deception, murder, sadness, love, forgiveness and revenge that went from the first to the last page. While I read the knot in my stomach was constantly wondering who, when, were and what was going on.
These oh so flawed characters made this book what it was, Jersey Six – an abandoned baby at birth who grew up in foster care, fighting for her safety and survival her whole life. Chris – a man who was burned beyond recognition who has amnesia who only has flashes of memories finds his way to Jersey by way of a boxing gym. Then there was Ian – a rock star who happens to meet Jersey one day, who offers Jersey and Chris a way out of their homelessness – but is he as altruistic as he seems? This is the question of the book, and the mutual interest between Jersey and Ian was always on the edge of exploding into the real thing, an all-consuming need for each other. The what if’s while reading will keep you going and going!
That’s where my review ends – as a reader – you DESERVE to experience Jersey Six as it’s meant to be, spoiler free. The ups and downs and twists and turns were more than I could have ever asked for! Kudos to Jewel E. Ann on this book!
Darling, my heart is filled with love and that all because of the words of Jewel E. Ann. The emotions I experienced while reading this one was the strongest reaction I ever had.
I’m a big fan of Jewel E. Ann and every single time she rocks my world with new, fresh stories. Books I can’t forget and won’t forget. Jersey Six was once again a dream come true for my book addiction.
I don’t have enough words to explain how good it is. You just have to experience it for yourself. With that being said let’s dive into the review.
I quite like the trouble main female character in books. I find them way more interesting and easy to love. Wishing for them to be loved and happy. Jersey Six had me there.
A young woman that had been through so much. And with every hurtful memory she revealed my heart broke even more for her. I teared up multiple times. But at the same time, she was strong and powerful after all those years in foster care. Never would anyone hurt her again, she promised that to herself. But even when she left that life behind, she walked right into another hard one.
She finds herself homeless and in a dire need for some food and a shower. But she isn’t alone. She has made a friend. One that stumbled into her life. All burned from an event he can’t remember, nor could he say his name and that due to amnesia. But one piece at the time it comes back to him. His name, Chris and an unexpected connected between Jersey Six and him.
A desire to get rid of someone that took away Jersey’s future. A revenge that fuels her to take out a rockstar. And the chance for that comes in the form of job. A job offered by the rockstar Ian Cooper himself. But what Jersey didn’t expect was this connection, this sense of coming home.
He felt like the day to her night and a promise on the distant horizon.
I loved every single moment Jersey spend with Ian aka Coop. How she searched for the truth while slowly losing herself in the eyes of the man she can’t have. How she grew more human, but still stayed true to herself. Her brain definitely worked way different than a normal human being’. She was always in flight mode until Ian Cooper broke those walls of her one by one.
Ian Cooper, the huge rockstar. He was carrying when it came to Jersey. A man easy to love, but one who shields his past from everyone and that makes it extremely difficult for Jersey to find out the truth. Ian was extremely gorgeous in my mind. I fell in love with him the moment he stepped into the story. All sexy.
I can’t explain the chemistry between the two. They just fitted, but still, a certain tension kept them apart. Jewel E. Ann is a fantastic author when it comes to creating this bond between characters. A bond you wished you got to experience. And the way she explains the kisses between the two main characters made me long to be one of them. It’s pure magic.
He kissed her like the final song of a concert. Giving her everything, making a lasting impression.
But what I loved the most in this book is the darkness Jersey carried with her and how she dared to say them out loud to the man she tried to kill. It gave me chills when she explained certain things. It made me cry while I read those. I loved her flaws and her temper. How certain human feelings were so foreign to her as well as her idea around sex.
Another strong aspect of this book is the storyline and how slowly it unravels. These secrets, this hunt for the truth made it extremely interesting. I wanted to know more than anyone how the story could possibly end. Because until the end you are wondering about that one question. And the ending itself did shock me. Dang. I reread it a few times to try to wrap my mind around it. It’s absolutely stellar.
They were the perfect kind of wrong.
Jersey Six is an incredible story about lies, painful pasts and love. A world filled with manipulation and deception. It was everything and so much more. Words can’t explain how good this story is. How good Jewel E. Ann is. Her writing is sublime as well as the way she captures her characters. Her side characters are just as interesting and in-depth as her main ones.
Jersey Six is once again proof why Jewel E. Ann is one of my favorite authors. I could go on and on about this story. But to come to the point, you just should read the story. It’s one of my highlights of 2019 and I want it to be one of yours as well.
If you do read this story, let me know what you thought.

The author has taken creative and uniqueness to another level, I’ve been on edge since page one and after all those twist and turns I’m still amazed and astonished.
I’m kinda new to Jewel E. Ann books, after reading her Transcend Series I promise to myself to read all her followings books and catch up with her previous as soon as possible, she just captivated me with her amazing writing and unusual stories, it’s a shame no reading her books.
Jersey Six was raised in the system, she had a really shitty life, so she’s tough and hard to love but you will understand her and you will want to help her, take her to your home and look for her even if she scary the hell of you.
Ian Cooper, rock star, is the real hero, what he has done for Jersey is something you can’t understand, is like surreal but when you discover his reasons you will love him even more and forever!!
I don’t want to say that much of the book, just go blind and experience it as much as I did. I love when books makes my brain works, I love all the theories I built on my mind and I love that my theories were crashed!! This book contains lies, tragedy, revenge, secrets, that makes it a wonderful story but be aware that it is very sad and tough and that it will broke your heart at some point but it all is worth it. This book consumes you in the best ways possible.
Jersey Six by Jewel E. Ann was full of twists and surprises. I devoured this book and could not put it down. The story was emotional and a wild ride! Jersey Six has not had an easy life. She was strong and determined, but she was made this way because of all she went through. When she meets a man who has answers, she goes on a journey she was not prepared for. Ian is a musician on top of his game and he is adored by millions. When he meets Jersey, everything changes. I loved this book. It was a story about revenge and secrets and will consume you.

Happy reading!
Wow Jersey Six is a great read that packs a punch. Jersey Six is a strong girl who can take care of herself. She’s not one that you want to mess with. She was in the foster system all her life. The only good family she had died in a hit and run accident. After that she’s lived on the streets. She would love to get revenge on the driver who killed her foster parents. Chris is a burn victim with really no memory. He walks into the gym that Jersey is staying at. Jersey isn’t the easiest person to get along with but she and Chris form a friendship. Then Ian Cooper (Coop) blows into Jersey’s life. He offers her a job and she brings Chris along too. These three have a many layers. They all have secrets. I didn’t know who was telling the truth and who was scheming. This one was quite a ride. There are twists and turns I didn’t see coming.
4.5 stars
This is definitely not the usual rock star romance, but one that will blow your mind. The story is unique, special and intriguing. The characters are raw, real and they demand your full attention.
Jersey Six is remarkable in so many ways, you have to explore for yourself.
This is more of a 3.5 stars to me because the book teased to be about one thing, but its not… even the hero is completely different than what you expect.. Do not read the blurb, just go blind and expect the unexpected.

I’m really blown away… Like scratching my head thinking, where the heck did that come from?
This author is so anti cookie cutter, it totally makes me moist. Something different each and every book. Never expect the ending to be how you picture it in the beginning…because this author will take you through an extra spin cycle…just because she can!
In this book, we get a unique twist on a rock star book. It’s a story that will have you singing right along in one chapter then ready to take up knife throwing in the next.
Learning about a young gal growing up in the ‘system’ and trying to survive. What a person will do just to be able to wake up the next day and start all over again.
I absolutely loved this story. Even managed to shed a tear or two while reading it. Beautifully written with two opposites that truly did attract.
One click this one and devour!!!
What can I say… I love this author’s work. When I started this book and quite a few chapters into it I was really feeling like it was going to be a 3-4 star book, I was feeling a little disappointed , but then it hit that pivotal moment and I was completely enthralled. I knew something big had to happen and I kept expecting something, so just when I needed that pull to keep me entertained it happened, and I loved it.
The characters were interesting to say the least. My favorite would be Max. Thank you for giving me something more with that epilogue.
Review Let’s look at the AMAZINGNESS of this book, though I struggled to write this review…don’t shoot the messenger…This was not one of my favorite Jewel books.
Jersey Six was full of emotions and personal struggles. The growth of Jersey was fun to watch. There were twists and turns of this book that held my attention. Then as soon as I thought I had figured it out Jewel did her thing and threw in a twist I did not see coming. Out of all the ways, I thought the twist was going to be it was not.
Jewel as always did an amazing job developing the characters and storylines. This story did cover a lot of tough subjects and topic that actually happen to children in foster care.
Though this was not one of my favorite books it was still amazing. If you love Jewel and her books I still recommend reading it.
O-M-G!! This Book Y’all! I’m almost at a loss for words. Almost In the best possible way. Now, if you have read Jewel E. Ann , you have come to expect that you will get all your feels, hit if not obliterated. Every.Daggum.Time! And I live for those feelings. This book though, by far was a puzzle of amazingness that will stick with me for a while. Every time I thought I kind of had a handle on what was happening or I had an inkling of a “theory of events I saw coming” she would throw me for a complete loop and I would be flabbergasted and left absolutely reeling. I love that feeling. Now, I instantly feel in love with Jersey. She had been through more crap in her short life that most people could could dream up in their worst nightmares. Yet, she was still tougher that most men twice her size. I wanted so badly for her to have everything good that life could bring her to make up for everything she had already endured. Then there was Ian, I really loved how he was so intense, but he was completely insistent on making Jersey’s life turn around. He wasn’t intimidated by her, or scared of her. He was committed to making sure that she no longer wanted for anything or suffer at the hands of anyone ever again. Let’s not even ignore the fact the the are off the charts. Smokin.Hot! This book unleashes this web of secrets and lies, deception and pre-meditated plans of sick and twisted revenge. You find yourself asking who’s playing with who, and are lines becoming blurred. It’s intriguing and angsty, and sexy and frustrating. It’s Everything! This book definitely has some flashback scenes that are hard to read and somethings that might be a trigger for some, but I assure you this book is amazing and Ian and Jersey’s story is tragically beautiful. It’s flawed, and sad, and frustratingly heartbreaking at times. However, I loved their journey and who they become because of it. This is a definite must read. I am a super Jewel E. Ann fan this is a bit different from her other works and I loved it. So many stars from me!

Jersey is not your normal heroine. She’s feisty, blunt, tough, and very aggressive. She can fight and box. Ian, a rock star, is like the Knight shining in armor who came to rescue Jersey. He’s so mysterious that will keep you guessing till the end of the book. And there’s Chris. Such a sweet and loving friend. I really did pity him. I did not expect that twist and it hurts me. I know it was not going to be easy, but all I really wanted was just them to get their happy ending. I don’t want to give too much away, but pick this one up!!u2063

There were some parts I thought was too slow. Somehow I always tend to read books that are in 3rd person slower. Lol u2063
Another unforgettable book by Jewel E. Ann. The woman blows me away every time I read one of her books. Jersey Six is mind-blowing and will have you enthralled from the first page. It will suck you in and keep you at the edge of your seat. Jersey Six is an amazing read and you will fall in love with these characters. There’s a reason why Jewel E. Ann is one of my favorite one-click authors. Mrs. Ann never disappoints!
This book is so unlike any of the other JEA books I’ve read. It’s very unique and totally captivating. I went in totally blind, never reading the synopsis or blurbs, just trusting the author to give me something fascinating. She didn’t let me down.
“Wish me luck, Jersey.”
“Luck, Coop.”
**Sigh** I loved those exchanges they had.
Jersey Six sort of has that Pretty Woman feel to it but it’s way darker. I don’t know if I’d categorize this as a romance, but more of a gritty suspense with romantic undertones. Who loves who and what happens next for this person and who is this person and all that jazz is what keeps you turning the pages. And when you hit that last 1/3 of the book…holy crapoly, hang.on.tight. I did NOT see that coming!!
I loved the story as a whole but struggled a little bit with the trust Jersey had with Chris. Why does she feel comfortable enough to let her guard down with him while keeping guarded walls up with everyone else, including Ian? It was just a little odd to me. But like I said, the story is amazingly unique and I loved the major plot twists!!
I don’t think I’ve ever read a book quite like this before – and I am in love! I was not able to put this book down! JEA wrote a book that completely consumed me! This book kept me on edge and I love every second of it! I am not big on spoilers in reviews, but YIU MUST READ THIS!!
Jersey Six has broken my streak of thriller reads (I even put one on hold to read this gem) and it has broken me a little bit.
We follow the transition of Jersey Six and her companion Chris Ten from the streets to a world tour with one of the biggest rock stars. It hurt to read what a rough life Jersey has led so far. So when the opportunity arises to turn things for the better, I wanted to hug Jewel for giving her a break.
But with any book of Jewel, you just know at some point the other shoe will drop. I remember reaching the point of +/- 40% and thinking “how is everything going so well?”. And then when the other shoe did drop, I was so conflicted (in a good way!). That’s the author for you. You should definitely read the book yourself and immerse yourself in this rollercoaster of a book.
