Seven Blackburn is an Enigma.A motorcycle club princess and the daughter of a notorious gangster. She’s a straight-shooting single mom deadset on ridding a powerful motorcycle club of their South American drug cartel connection. But not all players are ready for the game to change, including the ones she can’t see. The CIA.Jax Michaelson has a Bad Attitude But a Good Shot. The former Navy SEAL has … Shot.
The former Navy SEAL has been on Titan’s problem list since he showed up for work. Call him cocky. That’s fine, because then you’d have to admit he’s the best at everything. Except diplomacy.
Seven becomes an unexpected bargaining chip and Titan is forced deeper into the seedy world drug cartel glitz and Harley-riding MCs right. Can Jax be the hero Seven needs when a life as Mayhem motorcycle club princess backfires and her children disappear?

Another sexy, action-packed story from Cristin Harber! She doesn’t disappoint. This series is tried, true, and oh-so-hot!
My Fave
Jax has just become my favorite Titan. He and Seven’s story had everything. There’s non stop action, emotional upheaval, and sexy sexy times. Love.This.Book.
Jax and Seven are fireworks and rainbows. Seven is the Mayhem MC princess, mom to two kids, business owner, caretaker, mayhem problem Solver and a great friend. Jax is Titan, strong, sure, panty melting and bad ass. Add in a drug cartel, kidnapping and all of Titan and this is a MUST READ.
Wow! What a good book. A woman trying to get away from the life she grew up in, but still connected to. A man trying that not many trust and believe to be a jerk. You wouldn’t think they’d be a good couple, but they are explosive. They push each other’s buttons and try to always be honest with each other. The heat between them (and between the sheets) in intense.
You don’t need to read the other books in the series, but it does help with enjoyment and understanding of who others are. I’ll admit that as of this review date I have read most of the other books, but none with these two specific characters. Still, I did enjoy this book, and have plans to read the books that I haven’t read yet.
If you’re looking for action, and melt-your-panties heat, then you’ve found a great book for it.
Adding: Since my initial read I’ve read the books that come before this (including a re-read of this one), and it made this story so much better to further understand the characters, I love this story more than I did before.
4.5 Stars
Jax is the ninth title in the Titan series, by Cristin Harber. For anyone who enjoys a military romance, or romantic suspense this is the series for you. Although you could read Jax as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading the previous Titan and Delta books.
Jax and Seven are incredibly endearing and enigmatic characters. Both are incredibly complex, and have a lot going on beneath the personalities they project.
Jax is a former seal, brooding, cocky and closed off alpha. He’s incredibly private, and although he does his job well, he doesn’t go out of his way to connect with his teammates. He has a tendency to be quite egotistical and has a tendency to say what he thinks, without caring about the consequences or others feelings.
Seven is a multifaceted character. She’s edgy, sassy, feisty, smart, and strong with a huge heart.
The past and present collide in this title, with captivating results. Action, danger, intrigue, secrets, heat, humor and romance abound. The plot is full of twists and turns and suspense, that throughout the story, you find yourself waiting for the other shoe to drop.
The chemistry between Jax and Seven is intense and undeniable. They challenge each other constantly both inside and outside of the bedroom. At times their realtionship can be quite combative as they have a tendency to push each others button.
Another completely enthralling and engaging Titan novel. I will be eagerly awaiting more of Cristin’s work.
Hot,hot,hot!
I really enjoyed this book, Cristin Harber got my attention at the start and kept it till the end. In my opinion Cristin Harber knows how to write suspense, action and interesting characters. I’ve been wondering about Seven and Jax’s stories and I was not disappointed. I’ve liked Seven since being introduced to her in Delta Redemption. Seven is one strong women, yet she has her baggage and flaws. She has a past that keeps her loyalty. What I like about Seven is she is loyal, loves her family and does everything she can to protect them. Seven also takes no crap from anyone but she gives as good as she gets. When things got bad and she knew she needed help she asked. Yes she was a little wary but she did. Jax is a complete jerk but we finally get the story and it makes sense. Jax is a jerk on the outside but deep down he is not. In my opinion Cristin Harber did a great job of bringing these these two stories into one. Sometimes I did get a little confused with what was going on with the cartel and the motorcycle club. Even with that I still loved this book.
There’s nothing new about me reviewing a Titan novel. It’s been one of my favorite series for military romance for quite a while. Each book gets better and better, and this is especially true with Jax. To be honest, I didn’t think I was going to like Jax (the character, not the book!) AT. ALL. In all the other books he’s in, he’s such a jerk face that I was hesitant to even read this one. SO glad I jumped in anyway!
This book has the continuation and conclusion to the drug cartel drama we saw in Delta Redemption. So you really will understand the story better if you read that book first. But again, it’s technically a stand-alone book. But we first meet Seven in Delta Redemption, so I, again, highly recommend reading it first.
I think Jax is THE most misunderstood guy at Titan. No one seems to really like him, or trust him, and he can’t figure out why. As the reader, we see and understand why all the other Titan crew feels this way. But it’s all based on lies and deception, and you just want to yell at them to just stop the madness, including yelling this at Boss Man! Despite her outward appearance, Seven is pretty straight-laced, even if she has ties to an MC. She’s got hot pink hair and is covered in piercings. But she’s so much more than that. She’s responsible, caring, loving and loyal, even when people don’t deserve her love and loyalty. When you find out more about who these two characters are, they just fit together as a couple. Of all the guys at Titan, I would have never believed Jax would have turned out to be the guy he truly is….a trustworthy, honest, hardworking, likable guy. And he’s the one person who really believes in and supports Seven, besides her close friends in Idaho. Of course, this story also has mystery, suspense, and a rescue that involves all the men of Titan (and lots of things going boom!)
I know I’ve said it before, and I usually mean it at the time, but this book… this book truly is, by far, my favorite of all of the series. The main characters had so much more depth to them than you initially thought. The suspense was there from the beginning, so it pulled me in and kept me intrigued from the start. And even if part of the plot was predictable, it wasn’t all that way. So I’m giving it a solid 4.75 stars, only because there was one plot twist that I saw coming from almost the beginning that took the suspense away in that one area. Despite that, it was still a page turner and didn’t seem to stall or drag in the storyline at all. All in all, Jax is a fabulous book and one I highly recommend, especially if you are already a Titan fan, like me!
The wild card of Titan and the MC princess. I will admit I was on Sugar’s side about Jax since everything went down in Delta: Redemption. While this is a stand alone I felt it helped to read Redemption before this. Yes, they are two different series but they are closely ties together. Jax has a bad attitude and is definitely not the golden boy of Titan. Still within the first two chapters I had taken my place fully on Team Jax. Now for Seven, well she is Seven. She a a princess to the Mayhem MC, but she also lives her own life. While she is tied to them she is her own person.
As usual Cristin Harber kept me on the edge of my seat the whole book. The banter between Seven and Jax was perfect, as were the plot twists. Plus I mean getting a tiny little glimpse at ACES was cool. This book was the perfect end, if Titan could ever have a good end. I hate when series end, but I know Titan will be one I revisit often.
Great characters, great story.
Jax is Titans resident @sshole and he knows it. His character has been developed over the course of four books now. This book forces him to finally confront his past and learn to feel again. Some minor editing errors in the book but otherwise a good read and good addition to the series. Nice to see Seven get her HEA.
