If there was ever a time when Jameson Grant wished he was a different sort of man, it was now. The sort of man who had it in him to accept the promise of tomorrow from a sweet woman. But he wasn’t the kind of man who liked sweet. The former SEAL didn’t like much of anything or anyone. His past had taught him that people where liars and cheats and his time as a Special Forces operator taught him … him people also killed and manipulated. So Jameson did what he did best and walked away from the sexy blonde, with legs that were every man’s fantasy. But when she comes back in desperate need of help, he cannot turn is back on the beautiful Kennedy Lane a second time.
Kennedy Lane was in trouble and she only knew one man who could help. But when she went in search of her childhood friend, the owner of Gemini Group, she found his sexy teammate Jameson instead. The man was positively broody, and brash, and most certainly rough around the edges, and possibly the most distrusting person she’d ever met. He was also hot, and bossy, and when he forgot to be a jerk, he was sweet. The problem was, he wasn’t interested in her—not personally. Jameson had one mission—keep Kennedy safe—a directive he’d made crystal clear.
As the pressure to sell her land increases, the team quickly realizes just how far the greedy land developer will go in his quest to steal everything Kennedy loves. Nothing is off limits and no one is safe. Lines blur when Kennedy’s life is on the line and Jameson can no longer deny he’s fallen for the woman he never dared to dream existed. Now time’s running out—literally—and it’s up to Jameson to save the woman he loves.

What a ride!
A reluctant Jameson
Jameson and Kennedy are the next couple in this wonderful series
Kennedy goes to Nixon for help after she keeps getting harassed by a local land developer…but instead gets Jameson Jameson isn’t sure why but he wants to help Kennedy but he does and as he gets to know her, he starts to reveal more about himself and his past
Loved this story and the banter between the characters and I’m excited to read what Weston and Silver get up to in the next one
WOW. “Jameson’s Salvation” (nook) kept me spell-bound. There were so many twists and turns and the suspense was delicious. I loved the story.
Jameson’s Salvation is a fantastic romantic suspense by Riley Edwards. Ms. Edwards has once again delivered a well-written book packed with an outstanding array of characters. Kennedy is just getting by with her farming and bees. Jameson is ex-military and has joined the Gemini Group. Jameson and Kennedy’s story is loaded with drama, humor, smokin’ hot sex, action and suspense. I enjoyed this book from cover to cover and I have to admit, there is one blooper in the book that had me laughing so hard tears were rolling. I dare ya to find it. Jameson’s Salvation is book 2 of the Gemini Group Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
Wow just Wow this book really had me from the first page to the last one.
Take one quiet former Navy SEAL and add in one headstrong bada** farmer girl, The complete do-it-yourself lady willing to do what is necessary to make her farm work. But it will be a sleezy land developer who wants her land that will put Jameson and Kennedy to make them one explosive couple. When “accidents” start happening and her crops are sabotaged this will bring Jameson, Nixon and the Gemini Group to find out who’s really behind the buying up land and why.
I can’t wait for Weston’s Promise book 3 because this was fantastic and I loved Jameson’s Salvation.
I loved this story from the first page. Jameson is a grump when Kennedy drives onto the Swaggar farm. He had fun battling with her, even when she said monkey balls and accused her of being too free with her trust. It’s always fun when she was talking about paying for something, she couldn’t accept that she was someone worthy of others helping her. She had become part of their family but she didn’t really know what that meant.
“Can I talk?, Sure, when your ass is planted in my truck and we’re on the road.” Love that line! The story has quite a few twists and turns, and it’s an absolutely wicket trail that Ms. Edwards leads us on. Chapter 26 was explosive, and the rest of the book was a whirlwind. Absolutely loved it. I love everyone of Ms. Edwards stories and highly recommend them.
An Awesome Story! The plot is full of suspense, laughter, heartache, and camaraderie. It is a page-turner, leaving you to wonder what is going to happen next. The characters are well-developed and realistic. I loved this book and it is a great addition to the Gemini Group series.
I think Jameson Grant may be one of the most unique characters that I’ve ever run across. He certainly one of the most forthright and is tremendous human lie detector. The darkness and emptiness in his soul us all consuming. That is until he meets Kennedy Lane. She is vibrant, funny, no nonsense and independent. She brings light into Jameson’s darkness and he’s not really sure about how to handle that. To me this was, first and foremost, a beautiful love story. Yes, there’s bad guys, suspense and danger but the power of love as Riley Edwards so eloquently portrays it really is the bottom line in Jameson’s Salvation.
This is the second book in the Gemini Series and Riley Edwards brought the heat with this book. Jameson and Kennedy’s story was a fast paced, passionate and a page turner. Everything about this story was had me , from the surprises and plot twist to the witty banter between the characters.
I love when there is a character (Jameson) who is grouchy and keeps to himself, characters like his always fall the hardest. Jameson was all alpha, he was strong, bossy but in a good way and very protective. Once Jameson shell starts to crack, ohhh I fell in love more. Kennedy came crashing into his life and nothing was the same , she’s feisty, passionate and brave. I enjoyed her character so much because she brought energy to the book. The passion between these two was so steamy and left me breathless.
one of my favorite thing about this book was the bond between the characters . Jameson’s friendship with his fellow Gemini members reminded of what true friendship should be. They stick together and accept each other as is.
Riley Edwards presents us another satisfying heartwrenching read in the form of Jameson’s Salvation. The Gemini Group is fast becoming my favourite series and I love all the men featured in this group. Our hero Jameson Grant was dealt with a really bad history and due to this he is gruff, he annoys easily and he doesn’t have a positive outlook when it come to tangible things where the heart matters. Kennedy Lane is the heroine that Jameson needs, she is perfect for him. I love Kennedy, she is strong, loyal, smart, sexy and she is so funny. I believed Jameson and Kennedy might just be one of my favourite Riley Edwards couple of all time.
Thank you Riley Edwards for writing this book and I’m looking forward to reading more. Highly recommend!
This book was fantastic! Jameson and Kennedy were amazing and I was captivated by them from the beginning. The chemistry and emotions between them were perfect, the suspense and drama were great, all the characters were fun and engaging and the storyline was well-written, flowing and gripping from the first page to the last. I loved that they each ‘got’ each other, that Jameson opened up to Kennedy to the extent that he did and she became the balm for his soul. They completed each other well. There was just so much to love about this book. I could not put it down!
*I received an ARC of this book from the author and I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
If you loved Nixon’s Promise then you will love Jameson’s Salvation!! Jameson is one of the men that is a part of Nixon’s new security business. He tends to keep to himself and doesn’t give his trust easily. Kennedy has known Nixon since they were kids and comes to his security company in the hopes they can help her. And instead she finds Jameson, who steps up and offers to not only help her but to keep her safe in the mean time. What neither expects is for this relationship to become everything to them. Or for someone to go from just annoyances to people getting hurt.
I absolutely loved Jameson’s story!! Now mind you, I loved the first book in this series and I was seriously hopeful about this one just with the way their interactions were in the first book. And this one is just as good as the first! Jameson comes off as this standoffish man who hates everyone except his teammates. But in reality that is not truly the case. Kennedy went through some horrific things but once she realized (loved how that happened btw!!) what she was doing, she made a change and chooses how she can react to things that happen to her in life. And them together is just explosive but also so emotional and beautiful. I loved every second of it!!! And if these first two books are anything to go by, I have a feeling this whole series will be just as excellent!! I can’t wait for more!!
Jameson is just HOT HOT HOT!.Did I mention HOT? he broody, grumpy and growly but once you get past the rough exterior he puts out there oh mama watch out. Kennedy is your normal country girl next door and stubborn to the core. Not afraid of hard work and definitely not scared to go toe to toe with those who threaten her, her livelihood and her family’s land. Untill it gets bad and she knows it so she seeks out help from and old friend. Once these two get together the chemistry is off the charts.
Jameson is bitter and shut off from people, hardened from a career as a SEAL and covert operative. But his interactions with and kindness to Kennedy, however unexpected for both of them, allow him to start healing, and, when Kennedy’s life and all she holds dear are in danger, his strength can heal her too. There is genuine goodness in this book (with the requisite genuine evil that causes the suspense element), and it’s a book I found impossible to put down once I’d started it, and it had characters that will stay with me for some time. I can’t wait for more!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I just finished reading this book and it was awesome from the beginning to the very end! The characters are interesting and their story is captivating. This book had action, suspense, romance, and humor. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a great read! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
I became a Riley Edwards fan way back with her 707 series. I love how she brings you in and makes you feel like you are part of the family no matter what book you are reading.
At the end of Nixon’s Promise we met Jameson and Kennedy and although it didn’t go so well for them, we dive right in to their story. Jameson who has seen things most of us would never imagine and who is jaded along with broody and 100% Alpha. Kennedy who lives life to her fullest despite the hand she was dealt. These two together, pure magic.
This book earned every bit of its 5 rating from me and I can’t wait until Weston’s book comes out.
Riley does it again!!! Another great story I just couldn’t put down. To address the issue that not everyone had the “ideal” childhood, and it can effect your adult life if you let it was well thought out and written.
Riley’s stories always seem to touch on so many different emotions. The characters could be you or someone you know. I for one could relate to Jameson’s childhood and the way it influenced him as a adult. I understood Kennedy completely for having to be strong , independent and the one who took care of everything. Its hard to allow others to help you.
Thank you Riley for sharing your wonderful talent!
I really like the dynamics on the Gemini Group. First Nixon came home found his HEA and started the Gemini Group. Jameson was really a mystery in Nixon’s Promise, but he had a lot more potential as a hero that I saw at first. Riley Edwards takes story telling to a page turning romp. The POV changes from third person when Jameson is narrator to first person for Kennedy. I wasn’t sure I liked it in Nixon’s Promise, but it really works well in this book. I can’t wait for the other team members to find their HEA.
Love this author. She’s on my auto-buy list because I know as soon as I start reading the first few sentences that I am going to get sucked right in. I have a couple of authors that I feel this way about and it just makes you enjoy reading the book just that much more.
I’m a radically honest rip the band-aid off don’t lie to me kind of woman and I loved how Jameson was the same way. Kennedy referred to him as brash and abrupt, but that you also knew exactly where you stood with him. Loved that. This book had so much action, suspense, and romance. Highly recommend anything this author writes
I had been anxiously awaiting Jameson’s story ever since his character was introduced in Nixon’s Promise and Jameson’s Salvation was everything that I had hoped for and more! Jameson Grant is one of Nixon’s former teammates and current partner in the Gemini Group. He is a gruff, moody, cranky but loyal friend. As we get to know him better in this book we find out that Jameson has had some rough breaks in life and those early events helped shape his world view. Jameson and Kennedy Lane met by chance but he never thought that he would see her again until she comes looking for her old school friend Nixon’s help. Kennedy is a glass half full person. She looks at the world around her with a positive attitude. Jameson thinks that he’s never met someone so sunny and bright compared to his dark moodiness and no matter how beautiful he finds her what could they possibly have in common. The chemistry between these two is off the charts but before they can fully get to explore that there’s a lot of obstacles to overcome. Kennedy is having trouble with a man in town and that is why she sought Gemini Group’s help. She also has her hands full with her business, mother and strange things happening in her life. One thing about Jameson, he protects what is his and much to his surprise, Kennedy is his! Jameson’s Salvation is a great romantic suspense told from dual POV. It is loaded with action, heat, angst and love. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
