So Eli and Every end up on a road trip. Eli is determined to never let go Every again because he knows she is his mate. Helping her friend doesn’t go smoothly and their lives end up endangered. It is a quick hot read between two interesting and well-developed character.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
Such a good story. This is the first book in the Crescent Moon series I have read, and I will definitely read the rest of the series. This is a quick read with lots of excitement and passion. I really like the premise of Sapphire needs to help her friend and Eli needs to help Sapphire. The characters are well developed, and the plot is interesting.
This is book 8 in the Crescent Moon series and it features Eli and Sapphire. Eli knows exactly who she is to him. This book is about Sapphire’s journey regarding Eli and her “curse.” It was a little difficult deciding who were the main characters. Was it Eli and Sapphire or was it Luna and Leslie? Regardless, the story was a fantastic, sizzling, action-packed shifter romance. I just wish it were longer.
3 1/2 stars
Jaguars Mate was a cute little story, about a Sapphire a wolf shifter and Eli a jaguar shifter on a road trip to save a friend. I liked both Sapphire and Eli, but I have never read any other book in the series before and I think I would of felt more connected to the characters if I had.
Enjoyable novella set in Katie’s “Crescent Moon” series, fun to read and a quick pick-me-up.
Every book that I have had the pleasure to enjoy by Katie Reus is amazing. Every aspect of the book pulls you in and you become part of the story. I recommend this book to everyone.
There is nothing better than one of Katie Reus’s shifter mate stories, especially when the hero has to chase the heroine. I LOVE when a hero does the chasing. Another plus is that the heroine only did mild pushing away. She wasn’t unreasonable and you don’t have to wait long for her to realize Eli was worth the risk.
Key points in this book are: Jealous, possessive and protective hero that never felt like he was over the top with it. Strong heroine who was a great fighter but wasn’t too alpha in her personality. The instant mate instinct was believable. An interesting plot that showed how well they worked together. And no outside interference in the relationship.
For a novella, this felt like a full story. I was not left wanting and it it hit every point I wanted to see in a book.
Sapphire and Eli had a one night stand but she left in the middle of the night. Sapphire is a wolf shifter who believes she’s cursed and doesn’t plan to settle down. Eli is a jaguar shifter and knows Sapphire is his mate but just has to convince her to let him in. When Sapphire gets a call from her best friend about her daughter being abused by her mate and they are ready to leave, her and Eli go to get them. They get them out and settled into a new pack but the ex has tracked them and tries to kill them.
Short and little sexy. Action. A jaguar finds love with a wolf. Great story, the action was short but bloody. I love shifters that mate for life.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for NetGalley *
Short and sweet
Sapphire gets a call from her oldest friend Luna, saying that her daughter Leslie is in danger and she needs Sapphire’s help to get her away from her mate and their Pack! Sapphire goes to the wolf in charge of their Pack, while their leaders are away and stumbles on a connection she didn’t know of.
Eli has come to visit one of his oldest friends, on his search for the woman who got away! Discovering Sapphire asking for help to get her friends out, his help is volunteered which he agrees to, so he can get to know her better and find out after not seeing her why she left after their nights together and if she feels the same as him…..that they are mates
A great story and I look forward to more in this series! Maybe one for Leslie?!? Thank you to Netgalley and Katie for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review
JAGUAR’S MATE is the eighth instalment in Katie Reus’ contemporary, adult CRESCENT MOON paranormal, romance series. This is jaguar shifter and tracker Eli Scott, and wolf shifter Sapphire Zappa’s story line. JAGUAR’S MATE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Sapphire and Eli) JAGUAR’S MATE follows the second chance relationship and romance between jaguar shifter and tracker Eli Scott, and wolf shifter Sapphire Zappa. Eli Scott found his mate, one month earlier, a woman who ran after a one-night stand. Hoping to reconnect with the woman that call’s to his heart, Eli heads into Kendrick Pack territory only to discover that Sapphire is about to do some tracking of her own. When her best friend’s daughter needs help out of an abusive relationship, Sapphire and Eli head into another wolf’s territory in an effort to rescue one of their own. What ensues is the rebuilding romance between Sapphire and Eli, and the potential fall-out as our couple find themselves hunted as well.
JAGUAR’S MATE is a novella-length tale of fated mates. Katie Reus pulls the reader in a fast paced, passionate and imaginative story wherein jaguar intends to claim the mate of his heart. The premise is encouraging; the characters are animated and strong.
