“How did you find me?” What were the chances the two men she’d been in love with since high school would show up at her bar? Her heart seized. This was bad. Really bad. Because in five years, nothing had changed. She still wanted both of them.Corked and Tapped: Because the best stories never start with someone eating a salad.
So, a line in this book goes something along the lines of, “Brody and Carter walked into the bar”, and all I could think was that it was a setup for a sexy joke! But what I got was so much more fun and exciting! The characters are well written with feelings and emotions that bubble right to the surface, so that you can better understand their intentions and the reasons for their actions, both past and present. Thank you, Ms. Jameson, for breathing life into this story!
An emotional and spicy second chance romance.
Jade had run away from the two men she loved because of something she witnessed. Now it’s been five years since she’s seen either Brody or Carter and they’ve walked into the bar she works at. She’s never moved on, in all this time… but what if they don’t want her to?
This is the fourth book in the Corked and Tapped series and can be read as a standalone but they all happen in the same bar and the characters intersect in each book, so it’s better to read them in the order they are written.
I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was the 4th book in the “Corked and Tapped” series and this author continued with a great storyline and characters that were so well created that I was totally enthralled as I turned each and every page until the very end!
So far this Corked and Tapped series has delivered quick, quality reads with great characters and some smokin’ hot action. This book is no exception although the action is much less physical and much more emotional. This story of Jade and the men from her past really sucked me in and gave me lots of enjoyment.
YOWZERS!! Have water or a drink handy. This book is hot and steamy, so you will need help cooling off. We start off with Jade’s now ex boyfriend, Brody, not only breaking up with her but wanting his best friend to date her. Oh she is ticked off and ends up seeing Brody and Carter fighting then kissing… and more. Fast forward five years and they have both come to Corked and Tapped for her. They will not take no for an answer. What will it take for them both to win her? For her to forgive Brody for what he did to her? Oh no spoilers but I will say I finished this book in one sitting and do not recommend reading in public or before any doctor appointments.
Jade, one of the waitresses at Corked and Tapped, gets quite a surprise when two men from her past show up in her present. Not only are they even more handsome and buff they also deliberately sought her out.
Jade is conflicted, Brody was her boyfriend and Carter was their friend, she still has a problem, one she couldn’t solve in the past and one she’s not sure she can deal with now. She wants them both.
Brody convinces her to join them at Carter’s apartment when she gets off work. Of course her boss Mike just encourages her to leave a bit early.
There are plenty of emotions as memories of the past collide with new and unfamiliar territory for Jade. However, before anything can be said, she needs to confess something she saw, the night she decided to sever all ties.
Oh the reactions were priceless and when they finally get her to listen and actually hear what they are saying, things heat up rapidly.
Let me just say, these novellas are getting hotter with every release. I think I melted along with my kindle with the sizzling heat coming off the pages.
I think this is my favorite book in the Corked and Tapped series so far. The “lucky seats” at the bar prove magical, once again. A high school romance is rekindled but with a surprising twist. Becca James packs a lot into a quick steamy read!
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
Jade is working at the bar, when she sees her ex, Brody, walk in with his best friend.
Five years without a word with each other.
And now, it is like the years just faded away.
Can Jade give love another chance ?
Or is she is too afraid to get hurt again?
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of JADE Corked and Tapped series . I really enjoyed this sexy tale . Jade was in love with Brody after highschool he broke up with her because he was going into the military . He told her and their best friend Carter that they should be together while he was gone . She was devastated and ran .
Five years later she’s working as a waitress at the local bar Corked and Tapped . Surprise in walks Brody and Carter looking better than ever . They want to talk with her . The chemistry is still there between all of them . This story is sexy , alittle kinky and smoking hot . I recommend reading .
Amazing ménage with a twist!
JADE, the fourth book in author Becca Jameson’s CORKED AND TAPPED series is another outstanding and kinky short that will get any reader through a night’s football game and keep one totally entertained. The story captured my imagination despite my nervousness concerning some M/M action which was only discussed, not described. JADE is all about Jade and the possibility that her best friends from her past could provide a real future for her, if only she could trust them. With just the right amount of angst and the deft use of multi-narration, Becca Jameson has given her readers an emotional and heartwarming second chance romance. However, this second chance involves three; Jade, the waitress at the local bar Corked and Tapped, Brody who was Jade’s first everything in high school, and Carter the third wheel who always made the other two feel complete. If that sounds a bit confusing, I STRONGLY recommend that you pick up your copy of JADE today. It is well written, fast-paced, and full of Jameson’s brand of kink – so no one under the age of 18, please! I voluntarily read an early copy of JADE, and this is my VOLUNTARY and HONEST review. Despite its short length, the story is deep, and the characters are well-developed, so I am giving JADE a rating of 4/5 STARS. It is an excellent story. Happy pages!
