Beverly Hills, 1985Jackson Casey’s nightclubs are exactly the kind of places Hollywood’s A-listers flock to. His newest club, Indulgence, is no different, quickly becoming the most exclusive place to be seen in L.A. Life is fabulous for this dragon shifter—until his wife decides to follow her spirit guides, abandoning him and their two children. Desperate for help, he begins to search for a … search for a nanny. Finding one who can handle his spoiled dragonlings and his own stubborn ways will be a challenge. But not as challenging as keeping his inner dragon in check around the fiery Irish governess who soon moves into his home.
Cathy Brennan is beginning to notice just how dreary life in her little Irish hometown is after her best friend, Brianna, moves to glitzy Beverly Hills. So when Brianna calls, saying she knows a shifter in need of a nanny right away, she jumps at the chance. At first, every day proves to be a struggle with her new job, but Cathy is determined to turn the household around. Having eye candy like Jackson under the same roof certainly helps, but the enticing dragon couldn’t ever be anything more than her boss. Or could he?
Soon, their undeniable attraction causes lines to become blurred, but just before they surrender to fate, a fierce rival of Jackson’s decides he’ll stop at nothing to shut down his elite clubs, pushing Cathy and the children into the crossfire of their longstanding dragon feud.
Will Jackson’s heart be torn apart yet again? And will he put everything on the line to prove Cathy is far more to him than just the hired help?

I’ve got to be honest… I’m becoming a big fan of this author, Meg Ripley and her paranormal hot stories and what I love most about her stories is that they’re are safe reads (no ow/om sex scenes), there’s absolutely no CHEATING, and we always get to see our beloved main characters receive their well deserved happily ever after, after fighting the malevolent forces trying to separate them. This was the case in this wonderfully written story!

ONE HOT AND SPICY ADVENTURE!!!
Man, talk about walking the walk. This baby right here is one rollercoaster ride with all the twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, along with a few glitches and bumps that make for one engaging experience. Action packed, hard hitting, fast paced, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning delight that hooks you from the start. The drama, danger and suspense keeps building and the tension thickens throughout this little gem as the tale unfolds. White hot, off the charts, steamy chemistry with fast evolving connection that carries the two main characters forward. The characters are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. The scenes are so graphic and detailed it’s easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Meg did a remarkable job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job Meg, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Here me roar
Wow! What a fantastic story! This nanny has her work cut out for her, but she does what all good nannies do. From disciplinarian to protector, she shares her growing love with her charges. Dear old dad is a little off kilter, but he comes through when he is needed most. The author did a wonderful job of leading us on the path towards the HEA and a much better future for the characters. I look forward to the next boo

I was quite intrigued by how this played out. I am so glad it worked out for them even though both Jackson and Cathy butted heads at first and I really thought that Cathy was going to give up and walk away. But then she grew to be attached to not only the kids but to him too. Her urge to protect them and to sacrifice herself is so admirable. I am glad that Jackson saved her too and then he revealed that he loved her. Really enjoyed this too.

If you like busy dragon’s that run popular clubs then this book is for you.
Jackson basically is focused on building his clubs while not paying attention to his home life until something happens and he has no choice.
Cathy is dissatisfied with the way her life is going in Ireland until an opportunity to change comes her way.
With nothing in common can these two work together to provide stability for his kids?

Jacksons Nanny was a great book. I read straight through because I couldn’t put it down! Awesome storyline and steamy sex scene was just perfect and not raunchy. Characters were placed exactly as if i were reading about a normal family. True to life with a mix of mythical ideas. If only Dragon shifters actually existed…(heavy sigh)

Jackson is a dragon businessman. He bought an old warehouse and rebuilt it into a very successful nightclub which is a draw to everyone. The original owner of the building is trying to get it back but Jackson isn;t having it. When he returns home that night he discovers his children still up and his wife packing and telling him she is leaving him. Cathy lives in Ireland and is bogged down with a job that isn;t interesting, a family that is over rambunctious and tries to get her to do what they want. Then late one night her best friend ,Brianna, calls and tells her she has a live in nanny job for her with a friend of her husband. So she packs and heads out. Live gets a little out of hand between two spoiled children and a man who is making trouble for her boss.
Fantastic story! You;ll find yourself rooting for Cathy as she learns life in America isn;t always what people claim it is.

book 2 of the Beverly hills dragons. We see Brianna’s (from 1st book) best friend, Cathy, coming from the emerald isle to be a nanny for Jackson. A owner of elite nightclubs and father to 2 young children. When his wife decides to leave him and their kids its down to Jackson to find a nanny for his children, who has become spoilt and unruly. With tensions and chemistry rising between them, can they come together as one and defeat Jackson’s rival? Will they get a HEA? a great read from start to finish and as always a great storyline and characters.
I found this book to be a very enjoyable read from the very first page! The storyline was well written and the characters were so well rounded that it felt like Jackson and Cathy jumped from the pages and pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
xJackson owns two clubs Bliss and Indulgence, bars and restaurants. He is also a dragon shifter riding his two kids after his wife leaves. Cathy is best friends with Brianna and got the nanny job in the United States because of her. She moved from Ireland because she was miserable with her job that didn’t pay well. This has kidnapping, unscrupulous characters, jealousy and so much more. Great storyline that kept me interested and wonderful characters who have steamy chemistry. This was a great addition to the Beverly Hills Dragons and to get to find out how Damien and Brianna are doing.

I love Meg Ripley ‘s books. Even though this is a novella there was so much going on I couldn’t put it down! Cathy, friend of Brianna (from the first book), takes a job as nanny to 2 shifter children of wealthy businessman Jackson Casey. Things become dangerous for Jackson, his family, and Cathy! A jealous enemy? How far would things go? And would the attraction between Jackson and Cathy bloom? Read the book!

I do like that this book is taking place in the 1980’s, is a change of pace. Wow this book was good, just enough danger and falling in Love all around to keep the book interesting and I liked how Cathy was able to reconnect with her BFF (in Damien’s Nanny). I always HEA books and this a great read.

Jackson Casey, standing on the balcony of his newest club, Indulgence, was pleased at his success. He and his friend, Blane, shared a glass of whiskey as they admired the crowd and the popularity of the club. As Blane left, Jackson’s head of security came in with the bad news that Alex Babcock was waiting to see him. Babcock was trying to buy Jackson’s first club, Bliss, which was extremely successful as it catered to a different crowd than this one, a nightclub featuring all the hottest bands. Bliss was in direct competition with Babcock’s other clubs and was clearly the most popular.
Getting home at 3:00 a.m., Jackson was alarmed to see all the lights on. Crystal, his wife, was packing a suitcase in the middle of the living room while the kids fought over the game controllers and the TV. She had totally forgotten the children were still there. He figured she was heading out on another New Age Retreat to find herself. But this time, she said she was leaving him. She and Master Ken would be starting their journey of discovery the next morning. She told him to keep the children since she never knew what to do with them anyway.
Cathy Brennan sold clothing at The Rack in a small village outside of Dublin, but business was slow. She hoped she would still have her job in another couple of months. She went to her mother’s house for dinner and was not happy with her new stepfather’s attempts to push her toward going to college. Her mother agreed with him, so she finished up and left early, not wanting to get into an argument with them.
In her dingy apartment, she contemplated what her life was going to be like if nothing changed for her. Then her phone rang and her friend, Brianna, was asking her how she was. Brianna had left Ireland the previous year to work as a nanny in the States and got signed to her boss’ record label when he heard her sing. Now they were married and happy together. So she finally told Brianna how unhappy she really was and was shocked when Brianna responded with “Good!” It wasn’t the misery she was glad about, but her husband’s friend needed a nanny and it might be the perfect job for her!
When Cathy met Jackson, she had a list of questions for him about the children’s schedule, food preferences, emergency contacts, and such. When he shrugged most of it off as not important, he knew she was judging him. He definitely would have no problem keeping things professional between them since he no longer felt attracted to her. As for Cathy, she saw quickly what she was up against. Jonathan, 10 years old, had firm opinions and was not willing to listen to a woman who threatened to replace his mother. Jessica, 6 years old, was firmly used to having her own way or the world would end. Jackson was absolutely set in his ways, and that immediately set her off. This would be a real challenge.
As things start to fall into place and everyone got used to each other, Jackson felt like this just may work. But his business rival, who has been steadily pressuring him to sell one of his clubs to him, is finally ready to resort to violence and threatens what is most dear to Jackson. Will he actually harm Jackson’s children – or the nanny he is becoming closer to? Will he have to give in to the threat and lose his nightclub?
Another wonderful book in this series brings us into the home of another dragon shifter. The story line is good, with an added bit of tension from the business competitor to keep the reader wondering. The characters are well developed and likable. The reader can clearly see that, even with the children’s constant arguing, they are decent and caring with each other and there is potential for bringing all that forward into a fantastic family life. Grab your copy and enjoy watching Cathy in action – she doesn’t let the big dragon walk all over her, for sure!
