Readers Love the Hunt for Jack Reacher Series and Diane Capri:
“I ‘stumbled’ on this title and was attracted to it as I am a Jack Reacher fan. Loved the story and the author’s writing style. Couldn’t wait for more so I purchased [Raw Justice] and want more Jennifer Lane – please?! Fatal Distraction is also on my Kindle to read list!”
“I have been a Reacher fan for years and was excited when I heard of Diane Capri’s take on ‘Finding Reacher’. ‘Don’t Know Jack’ is a good companion to Child’s Reacher books and recaptures the flavor of the Reacher mystique. I am waiting anxiously for the next book in the series and the next and the next, and so on.”
“All Child fans should give it a try!”

Not as good as the originals
I thought the plot was interesting but contained a lot of holes and leaps of logic. The characters were a little superficial and stereotypical, not well fleshed out.
Move over Clancy and Griffin, this epic tale is edging you out.
Did Jack Reacher really get blown up when a block of C4 turns a house into splinters? If so why are FBI agents Otto n Gasper and others still chasing him?
Get ready to pull an all nighter with this one.
Cheers

I recommended this book but I was torn. The author can’t seem to get the Child character out of the story. I read a little over half and put it down. Those who have not read any of the Jack Reacher books will probably enjoy it. Not much in the way of fresh characters.
It was anticlimactic and boring. Nothing like a good Jack Reacher book
Not what I expected but a good extension of the Jack Reacher character, as a current adventure, possibly connected to his past. No doubt Kim and Gaspar are two characters I’m going to enjoy following.
A very complimentary book for people who like Lee Child books.
Would really enjoy seeing these characters with their own movie or television series deal.
Wow I loved this book you don’t want put it down i will be reading more of Jack Reacher
Diane Capri’s cottage industry based on the character of Jack Reacher, created by Lee Child, continues to entertain … though folks who get frustrated by not reaching a cathartic conclusion in good order might want to avoid it. FBI agents Otto and Gaspar doggedly continue to pursue the scant information they can glean about Reacher, supposedly to qualify the mystery man for a “special assignment.” Reacher remains elusive, so far off the grid that even the FBI can’t locate him … or have they bumped into him again; someone saved Otto’s life, but she isn’t sure who. She and partner Gaspar do get to end crime sprees by criminals they meet during their Reacher assignment. Maybe they’ll have to be satisfied with that. Not Otto and Gaspar!
Well written story with well developed characters
involved in a fast moving, riveting storyline.
FBI Special Agents Kim Otto and Carlos Gaspar
are not the only ones searching for Jack Reacher.
The agents find themselves involved with a
unsavory general looking for something valuable.
He will kill to retrieve it.
Murder, disorder, trouble seen to follow the agents
from Detroit to New York City then onto upper New
York State followed by West Palm Beach.
The author weaves the past and present together
without difficulty. You will feel as if you are part of
the story.
Diane Capri’s Reacher is seen by the agents with
a different opinion than Lee Child’s Reacher. This
makes the continuing Saga of the Hunt for Jack
Reacher a intriguing and interesting series to read.
This is book # 8 in The Hunt for Reacher Series
but can be read as a stand alone.
I volunteered to read Jack the Reaper. Thanks to the
author for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.
Jack the Reaper, book 8 in Diane Capri’s The Hunt for Jack Reacher series…My Favorite, so far in this series. Most important, this is DC’s creative weave and spin on Lee Child’s series and main character, Jack Reacher. Diane Capri’s main characters are FBI Agents Kim Otto and Carlos Gaspar. Originally sent out to collect background info on a possible hire, Jack Reacher. From book 1 quickly became much more. Now chasing the man as much as his background info. Is their boss, Mr. Copper directing or miss-directing them?!? Murder, mayhem, destruction, as well as someone helping victims keep occurring on their hunt. Is Reacher the hero or the villain?!? Kim Otto unsure if she is changing or loosing her mind. “It’s not likely you have the full picture of the man since you get your information from Cooper.”…a belief by more than one of Reacher’s former friends. Mine too!!! I received this book as an ARC. I am voluntarily posting this review. A Must Read book and series. Each book can be read as a standalone but Oh, So Much more as a series!!!
