Warning: Corked and Tapped is the name of the local neighborhood bar, though the patrons may argue it is far from ordinary. Be prepared for high heat, unapologetic exhibitionism, and a whole new level when it comes to “one-night stands.”Ivy“You must be Cleopatra.” Her heart picked up its pace as he leaned against the bar next to her. Her dating track record lately was horrifying, but his smile … was horrifying, but his smile was mesmerizing. She liked him already. Most importantly, he kept his gaze on her eyes instead of staring at her chest. Surely he was too good to be true. With nice guys like him, there was always a catch.
Corked and Tapped: Because the best stories never start with someone eating a salad.

A very different addition to the Corked & Tapped series, with the woman making the moves. Ivy is a sweetheart and a serial online dater, but has issues and insecurites that keep her at a distance. Cooper is the nice, sweet man from Accounting that her friend sets her up with, and he has some secrets too! Once these two get together, the sparks start flying, and you aren’t really sure where exactly they’re going to end up! Loved the real conversation and the questions they have for each other.
A spicy office romance with lots of heat.
Ivy may look like a blonde bombshell but her self image isn’t always matching. So when she has to wear a costume for the office Halloween party, she decided to sexy it up. But that just makes it harder for her to trust whomever she’s being set up with to want to know her, on the inside. As for Cooper, well he has his own issues to deal with but when he meets Ivy… he knows he needs to try.
I am absolutely loving this series! Each couple is interesting and even though they are short stories, they draw you in and hold you until the very end.
Ivy is the seventh book in the Corked and Tapped series and needs to be read in the order it is written. But since they are all quick reads, it’s not that hard to do.
I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Corked & Tapped 7: We’re back at the Corked and Tapped for Ivy’s match. Cooper, the accountant, was just as sexy as Ethan, his accountant friend. It seems this company has conjured up all the insecure, sexy people in the town. And what a match making job Maddie is doing! Ivy and Cooper banter about how Monday will be rife with chatter about each other! Will Cooper and Ivy add to the chatter? I was rooting for it!! How accepting Ivy is when Cooper trusts her with his past. I had so much fun reading this novella! Can’t wait to read about Maddie’s Phantom!
Ivy is another entry in Jameson’s Corked and Tapped series of novellas, and I really enjoyed its heroine. I liked that Ivy was sick and tired of men who immediately focused on her physical attributes instead of her personality and her whole self. The way she was willing to keep going back into the dating pool was a refreshing change from a lot of romances where the heroine pulls herself away from meeting potential partners. I liked that the hero, Cooper, had a humorous take on working as an accountant. It was great to see how he grew as a character when Ivy discovered his artistic interests.
But there was one element that threw me off a bit. Cooper, who interacts physically really naturally and wonderfully with Ivy throughout this novella, has a secret that didn’t mesh for me with how he was acting ahead of that. It’s also a major revelation and one that I would have expected to give Ivy pause. That they didn’t even discuss what he revealed in any substantial way seemed like way too big an issue to leave to the side.
This is where the challenges of the novella format come through. Jameson didn’t have the time in this structure to do more, and for me, that made this story less successful as I couldn’t fully buy into the romance. But it’s great to see Jameson exploring so many different types of characters in this setting.
While I’m loving this series that gives me quick, easily read romances with wonderful emotion & characters, I have to say that this has to be one of my favourites! It started out nothing special, but by the time they got back to Cooper’s place I was just absolutely loving him! He’s just adorable & a standout character from the series so far. Really enjoying the fact that while we’re onto book 7 now, the quality of these stories remain high & I love the way they all intertwine.
I LOVE this story! The whole series is MUST-BUY!
Author Becca Jameson has wowed her readers with TAPPED AND CORKED, a series of fast-paced, erotic novella romances! IVY, along with the titles who came before it, is remarkably deep for novella length. Using the angst and insight of dual narration to give her readers a deeper understanding of those characters and how they navigate the fabulous world of this Tapped and Corked series. The characters are so memorable, and the stories are so varied; readers, like me, are awaiting each new episode with bated breath! This newest release, IVY, is one of my favorites as the storyline holds the reader in a bit more suspense, and the twist at the end is so wonderfully unexpected. If you have not yet decided to grab this seasonal romance which does have both STEAM and BDSM included, you need to purchase your copy quickly as the next Tapped and Corked” novella will be out in just one week! I voluntarily read a copy of IVY and this is my voluntary and HONEST 5+review. In fact, I have already purchased my copy of IVY to place in the FAVORITES collection on my Kindle! Get your copy today and happy pages!
Short, sweet, and sexy. Ivy has some past demons and needs someone to see her for her. For how beautiful she is and not judge her by her appearance. Cooper is the Julius to her Cleopatra. He looks her in the eyes, not the boobs. Huge points for that. For the first time, she is interested in someone. Things start to get interesting when Cooper starts to draw Ivy… think Titanic.
While this book in not my favorite in the series, it was hard to put down. It drew me in and I kept wanting more.
Ivy tugged on her tight white dress since she decided to go as sexy Cleopatra instead of a more modest Cleopatra.
Rose her best friend is going as a sexy vampire, so when they walked into Corked & Tapped together since their employer booked the company Halloween party here and they had to find their companion in costume somewhere. Rose wished she was as confident as Ivy seemed little did Rose know how hard Ivy worked to appear confident and secure. Ivy didn’t talk about her past with anyone at Jacoby advertising . This is the very basic beginning to the story. I loved this…….suspenseful romantic great plot. I was given this and I voluntarily leave this review.
This was the 7th Book in the “Corked and Tapped” series and it was so greatly written with wonderfully written characters that kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book!
Ivy has some surprisingly delightful twists that you won’t see coming and will make you smile. They say nice guys finish last and they do so only after the woman they’re with does. Cooper and Ivy’s night of pleasure was emotional, gentle and sensual. It left them both looking forward to more than just one night together.
We met Ivy as she helped Rose get dressed for the Halloween party. She seems to exude confidence but secretly she doesn’t. She hasn’t had a second date in forever, most of the first dates end up staring at her breasts or worse so some of those don’t even make through half a date.
She has one more first date from the dating site she joined but first is this crazy Halloween party. Maggie from HR has paired off people from different departments to sort of team build. Ivy is dressed as a sexy Cleopatra and the person she will be looking for will be dressed as Julius Caesar.
When she meets up with Julius at the bar, after noticing Rose and her vampire kissing, they finally start to get to know one another. Starting with some of their funnier first dates.
I really like the way these two slowly get to know each other. Then there’s also the way Cooper manages to get some information on the Phantom that matches Maddie at Ivy’s request.
Finding Cooper is an artist at heart, gives a perfect opening to leave the party. I loved the way Ivy’s confidence grows with every minute these two are together.
So much fun, very romantic, and the perfect amount of sizzle in this wonderfully short read.
I can’t wait to read Maddie, especially now that I’ve been thoroughly teased about it in this book.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
It is time for the company customer party.
Ivy is dressed as Cleopatra.
Will she have the same fate as the actual Cleopatra?
What about her Julius Cesar ?
Will he fall madly in love with her “Cleopatra” ?
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Absolutely Sizzling .
I volunteered to read an advanced readers copy of IVY book seven in the Corked and Tapped series .
This novella is fantastic b. Ivy and her best friend Rose .head to Corked and Tapped bar for their company costume party . Ivy has body issues and is very self conscious but dresses sexy and steps out of her comfort zone . She doesn’t have good dating results most men look at her bust and body before her eyes and are very handsy . Ivy’s match for the party is Cooper dressed as Julius Caesar to her Cleopatra . Cooper looks her in the eyes and is fantastic they find themselves enjoying each other’s company and just maybe will share their secrets and more dates . I really enjoyed reading IVY . I look forward to reading the next novella in the series .
I highly recommend reading
