Mary Higgins Clark has done it again. She is a masterful author of mystery and suspense. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t wait to see how the story unfolded. There were many twists in the plot that had me guessing who really was the responsible party. The book not only described what was going on with the families involved and how they were coping, but from the side of the law. Something can seem so straightforward, and yet be so far from the truth. I’ve read and loved all her books and this one was no exception. I can’t wait until the next one.
A book that will keep you on your toes until the haunting finish.
Pure Mary Higgins Clark.
I’m not sure what words to use to describe this book. I did enjoy it but not as much as her other books. The story did not seem to be as fleshed out and it just seemed to end.
When Kerry’s body is found floating in her parents’ pool after a party.
everyone thinks her boyfriend Alan is to blame. They had a fight so everyone thinks it is Alan.
I don’t know I see the reviews and I must be the only one that did not know who murdered Kerry.

I enjoyed this book. It was very interesting to listen to. I enjoyed the plot and the characters. It has a lot of emotions and drama in it. I loved how the family tried to protect each other and how the events played out. I want to read more from this author.
From the moment the girl was dead I kept wondering who killed her and not until toward the end did it dawn on me who it should be. Until then I was twisting and turning with the various leads and read through the night last night because I had to know!
Love any and all Mary Higgins Clark
