PS. From Rascal, the dog: “Why would you want to read this silly cat book instead of Goofy Newfies? I don’t understand, but I’ll forgive you because I’m a loving gentle giant. Dogs love their hoomans more than anything. Cats barely tolerate their peeple, and they like to play scratchy-bleedy games. No, thank you!”
PPS. From Morty, the cat: “I won’t even touch on that dumb dog’s atrocious spelling. Cats are obviously more intelligent and have more discerning tastes than dogs. Silly old dogs will love anyone unconditionally, but you have to earn a cat’s love. Cats rule and dogs drool… literally.”

Itty Bitty Kitties: A Heartwarming and Sweet Romance, Plus Kittens! (The Pet Set Duet #2) was another great read by Ann Omasta. Although I didn’t like Julia that much in the beginning of the book, I grew to like her character. Throughout the book she learned the value of being open hearted and forgiven. I really enjoyed reading Julia and Derek’s story and can’t wait to read more by Ann Omasta.
” Itty Bitty Kitties- A heartwarming and sweet romance, plus kittens! ( The Pet Set Book 2)” by Ann Omasta is a one furry tail of a Felinecentric romantic romp!!! ( secretly on #TeamCat) ….this is one hilarious…charming…clean..read…of Felines manipulating Bipeds with intelligence and finesse ….a wonderfully…upstaged by mischievous Felines …holiday story…with healthy doses of romance on the side. (Read book 1 “Goofy Newfies “ for #TeamDog)

My thirteenth read from author Ann Omasta. After having read Aloha Baby & planning on reading the rest of the Escape Series books I found myself side-tracked by Goofy Newfies & Itty Bitty Kitties. Another, cozyish in nature, short entertaining and well-written read from her. Having read Books 1 & 2 in The Pet Set next up will be book 3, Funny Bunnies: A sweet Opposites Attract Romance Novelette. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
This is such a lovely feel good read which will get you nice and warm. There is also a love story with the story about kittens and even some puppies

Adorable! Who doesn’t love kittens and Newfies antics, then put humans in the mix, sweet and laughable. Romantic and very funny from the first few pages when pregnant Julia is sitting at a traffic light with a piece of fried chicken and Racal the Newfies out of nowhere jumps into her car a stuffs his head into the fried chicken container. The cat and Newfies don’t stop as well as Julia antics to get the hunky fireman Donovan to notice her. Thoroughly enjoyed reading Itty Bitty Kitties and highly recommend reading it! I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily choose to review it.
This is a great warm and cozy read, Julia moves in with her cousin Van after her boyfriend freaked out about her getting pregnant and her family basically disowning her over it all. Unfortunately for her she and her cat P.K ends up having to live with not only Van and his dog Riley, but also his girlfriend Lily who she doesn’t really like along with Lily’s dog Rascal and cat Morty. All is not lost though for she has her eyes on fireman Derek which might make the more better but will he be interested in her as she is pregnant with another mans baby? the flow of the book is great and here are plenty of laughs, a few sad times and lots of cute animals to make this a great snugly evening read that will leave you satisfied.

This is an entertaining book. I loved the characters and their interactions with the pets. Told from Julia’s POV she is pretty honest about her faults and missteps with Derek. This is a clean, sweet romance good for a rainy afternoon read.

Cute story from unfortunate circumstances. Julia is pregnant and her longtime boyfriend wants nothing to do with the baby. Her family has ostracised her for having a baby out of wedlock. So, she is on her way to stay with her cousin Van. Her purebred Persian cat is accompanying her. Her cat is accosted by the neighbor’s mongrel cat, she is attacked for her fried chicken by a Newfi escaped from the jeep next to her car. The cat and dog turn out to belong to Van’s girlfriend who lives next door. She is not off to a good start. Now throw in a hot firefighter. Nicely written and entertaining!

Julia finds herself dumped by her boyfriend of many years, cast out by her mom and closest relatives, and set adrift – all when she finds herself pregnant.
She never expected to find herself a single mom, but is thankful when her cousin Van – Donovan – welcomes her and future baby in, until she / they get settled.
A crazy encounter en route to his home is the introduction Julia gets to the next door neighbor/ girlfriend/ Newfi Mommy.
If you have never been greeted enthusiastically by a Newfoundland, you have yet to be introduced to new universes of slobbery, floppy mounds of dog – I say this having grown up with a slimy basset.
Julia is building a new life for her and her baby – and her cat – in a place that is more than just a small town.
She is meeting a real neighborhood, and the kind of families love builds.
Fear, cat and people momma hormones, and normal two legged people drama are all part of the adventure.
But so is love!

This is a cute, fun, entertaining story about adorable cats and dogs. Okay it has some humans in in too. Great story full of drama, humor, sweetness, romance and a great ending. The love letters from the pets are the best! This was my first book by this author and I will definitely be reading Goofy Newfies next.
This time we are in the house next door and we meet new characters and their itty bitty furry friends! Be ready for uncontrollable laughter.

This was a crazy funny romance with a pregnant woman dumped by her loser boyfriend when she refuses to have an abortion moving in with her cousin Van, the vet tech from Goofy Newfies’ house while she figures out the next steps in her life. Her bucket of fried chicken is stolen by Van’s neighbor and girlfriend Lily’s dog Rascal. Her cat P.K. is impregnated by Lily’s cat. And she ends up falling for the firefighter who rescues Lily and her pets from her burning house. But is he willing to take on all her baggage? He’s smoking hot, writes a cute story about a firehouse dog that he gets Julia to illustrate, and loves her cat. I loved catching up with Van, Lily and their dogs from the last book. There were plenty of funny, crazy, sweet, and romantic moments in this book.
This is a story that will have you smiling and in some parts laughing at what these adorable Kitties do. This is the second book in the Pet Set series a well written story that made me feel good reading it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lovely, cozy romance built around two couples and their expanding cat and dog menagerie. Not just for the cat lover, but anyone who loves humor, animal antics, sweet romance, and a bit of wintry Christmas tradition and mayhem thrown in. From the first few pages and their fried chicken fiasco to the end, there’s a boatload of good stuff in this one to enjoy.
I recommend reading it with Goofy Newfies, the earlier story in the duet. Most of the characters appear in both and, frankly, the first is just as adorable and smile-enducing as this one, though shorter.
I am a big cat lover and a huge Ann Omasta fan! This was a wonderful, entertaining small town romance! Enjoy!!

Finding herself pregnant without any significant other and unwelcomed from her parents, Jules and her cat are finding refuge with her cousin Van and his Newfy, meeting his girl friend and next door neighbor Lily with her Newfy and tomcat, which leads to complications and a life full of love and acceptance by animals as well as their humans. A lovely story of small town life, animal magic and romance.
I loved reading every page and often had to laugh out loud about the antiques of the animals and their owners.

This story seems to pick up fairly shortly after the end of the first book, and it feels like it was a bit more focused on the people than the pets than in that previous one. It took me quite a while to warm up to Julia. Even giving her the benefit of the doubt for raging hormone swings, she comes across as a Mean Girl, and in my mind, I was getting ready to steer Derek away from her. In much the same way that Lily’s heart grew during “Goofy Newfies”, Julia learns the value of having an open heart and forgiveness. By the end of the book, I loved her too. Not as much as I loved the fur balls, mind you, but love just the same. The love notes from the pets are the cutest things I’ve ever read – I could be convinced to read a whole book of just those.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
Julia is pregnant, not married but thought she was headed that way. She’s packed up her persian, Pretty Kitty and is moving in with her cousin Van.
Along the way she meets an obnoxious woman and her untrained pets. It’s Lily, her cousin’s gf.
Julia also meets Derek.
PK gets pregnant as well, so it’s babies and kittens and a ramshackle family.
