I really enjoyed the first book in this series. Daniel devastated Vivian when he ended their 8 year relationship out of the blue. He did it because he thought we was protecting her and he was planning to do something to protect his mentor / second father. He went so far as to get someone to pretend to be his girlfriend so Vivian would move on. She never gave up on him and in the end saved him and hi mentor from a murder charge.
I truly enjoyed reading It’s Not Over. It was a wonderful read and has many twists and turns. I was hooked from the first page and it was a page turner. This book has some suspense, heartbreaking, angst, and it is sweet, mysterious. I truly enjoyed all the characters and the past and present of the book. It was wonderful written and a good storyline. I look forward to reading more books in this series.
This was an new author for me. I was really pleasantly surprised. I was ho”Ed from the first page the emotions I felt almost from the first page were intense. The slow reveal was a form of torture. Trying to figure what happened was a journey of discovery. Great book
Exceptional first book by Grahame Claire. This second chance romance was wonderfully crafted going back and forth in time from the present to when they first met, eight years earlier. Vivian is a strong and realistic female lead character. She wanted everything from Daniel since the beginning, not settling for anything less and fighting for their happily ever after.
Daniel started a typical closed off, unemotionally involved lead. He developed into a character that you rooted for, cheering him as he finds his way to a lifetime commitment with Vivian.
Can’t wait to read Stone and Muriella’s story.
Such a great read. Daniel was full of surprises and secrets. I hated how he thought he had to break Vivian’s heart to protect her but she was a strong character she wasn’t buying into his crap. At times I wanted to forge ahead because I was dying to know the why behind Daniel’s actions and when it would flashback I wanted to hurry back to the present but other than that it’s a great read.
5 stars for It’s Not Over by Grahame Claire. This is book one in The Paths to Love Series. This is also the debut novel from this author, which I never would have guessed after reading the book. It is filled with mystery, drama, suspense and it is heartbreaking at times. This book goes back and forth from the past to the present. We have Daniel and Vivian in this story. They meet and fell in love 8 years ago. We learn how they fell in love in the past. This book’s main focus is that they are no longer together. It was so heartbreaking knowing they are no longer together and to hear about how they fell in love. “You’re my reason for everything.” I thought Daniel was an idiot at first, then he melted my heart. He is the strong and take-charge type of man. I will say there are point in the book where he is cruel and cold. He has many secrets. I have to say I loved Vivian, she is down to earth, strong, independent and one heck of a fighter. She is fighting for their relationship and most of all fighting for their love. She has no idea why Daniel is doing what he is doing. She also does not know that he is playing on both sides of the law. When Daniel tells her it is over, she is completely blindsided, but she knows everything is not as it seems. “I didn’t know this man staring at me. This was the one who went on lockdown. Who refused to let anyone inside the vault with him? Except didn’t he realize I was already there”
I decided to start this book after reading the blurb. The cover is intriguing, and I did not know what to expect. I was drawn in and had to start the book as soon as I could. I started it in the evening, and I did not put it down until I finished. Needless to say, I was up all night because I could not put it down. This book had me on the edge of my seat from the first chapter all the way to the end. I loved how steamy it was and just how captivated it made me. I really could not believe that this was Grahame Claire’s debut book. It was extremely well written and fluid. I never felt like the story did not mesh or anything. I laughed, I cried, then I ugly cried and then I smiled. I had all the feels we romance readers love to experience when reading. I can not say enough good thing about this book. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Wow! This book was outstanding. Past and present perfectly combined, amazing characters, and the storyline was outstanding and had me hooked from the very first page. This was my first time reading a book from this author but it will not be my last. ‘It’s Not Over’ is full of twist and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat and hanging on to every word.
When someone becomes your “everything” nothing will keep you apart. When Daniel makes choices that separates him and Vivian because it’s whats “best for her”, Vivian isn’t accepting it and will stop at nothing to get him back.
This story began with a bang and kept on going. The story was endearing, intriguing, and damn sexy. While the plot may have been one seen before, it was definitely written with some twists thrown in that make it stand out.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and honestly had to force myself to put it down to sleep. Throughout the story I felt, which is always a good thing. I felt anger at Daniel, I felt pride and Vivian’s strength, I felt the devotion they had towards eachother. I also felt like I wanted to reach through the pages and slap some sense into a few people.
There were a few instances with the passage of time that confused me. Surprising not with the flashbacks; which give the real meat of the story but during the present time. I would have loved a little more depth into the relationship between Daniel and his father. You got to really feel Daniel’s emotion and anger, but it just felt like it needed more explanation or flashbacks to understand. The only other thing that had me scratching my head about was Vivian, Daniel, and Muruella’s relationship. I was left confused about what they were to eachother, not knowing if they were all a couple or just friends. I knew we would find out, it just took a little longer than expected especially with how quickly her importance was introduced in the story.
I think what I loved most about this story if the strength of the female characters. Vivian especially was not the wilting flowers you tend to see in stories like this. She had bite, a sense of self, and so much sass it made the story that much better. She was independent and wasn’t waiting to have someone save her, she wanted to do the saving. Even if it was a strong alpha male she was saving.
There is a freedom in being completely open and vulnerable to your partner and that was captured perfectly in this story. The mutual love and respect made it even hotter so it had the heat level a 4/5.
Thank you to the author for creating something so entertaining and I can’t wait to read more.
Loved it
My only complaint is the characters acted younger than they were supposed to be.
It was well written, the characters were great. You could feel the passion, anger, and frustration. Even though it was easy to figure out the conclusion it was an enjoyable read.

Grahame Claire is a new to me author. After reading this book, you’d never know that it was her debut novel because it is so well written. This story follows Daniel and Vivian’s relationship and it jumps between the past and present.
This book is filled with drama, suspense, angst and the twists in the plot kept me captivated. I highly recommend reading this MUST read book. It’s Not Over is the first book in the Paths to Love Series and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ELITE!!!
