GwenLately, life definitely isn’t how I envisioned it. I had it all. The house, the job, the husband. Until one day, I didn’t. I don’t know when exactly things started to change between us, only that it did, and in a big way. So much so, I found myself standing before a judge and signing off on the end of my marriage. To the only man I’ve ever loved. Now, he’s back, fighting, and ready to prove … and ready to prove to me that we made a mistake, that our love is worth giving this another chance. I’m not sure if he’s right, but I know what my heart wants, and it wants him. My ex-husband.
Harrison
Why is it that you don’t know the depths of your mistakes until you’ve already made them? I knew signing those papers was a bad idea, but I thought that’s what she wanted. The minute we stepped foot out of that courtroom, it hit me. She’s no longer mine.
That’s when I also realized that I would do anything to change the past. I have so many regrets. Not her. I could never regret her, but how we ended. We never should have ended. I’m in for the battle of my life to convince her to give us another shot. I have a plan, one that will prove to her that it’s not over.

Omg I loved Harrison and Winnie from beginning to end!!!! Divorcing each other was the biggest mistake ever. They never stopped loving each other and there was never a third person. Their divorce was because they lost themselves trying to become successful but they never stopped loving each other. Harrison was determined to win back his wife and when something happened he brought his A game and there was no turning back. Winnie was amazing and as much as she tried to take it slow with Harrison her love for him was even stronger. Their rekindling was so beautiful and Harrison was all alpha and didn’t let anyone disrespect or get in between him and Winnie. Their family was supportive and amazing!!! And his best friend and Winnie sister banters, priceless; they need their own book. The ending was so damn sweet I couldn’t stop smiling.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, a very unique story written in collaboration between to authors that was flawless. I was seriously trying to guess who wrote what parts, to no avail lol. Winnie and Harrisons story starts off in divorce. Things happened and choices were made that they thought were right, only to find out were oh so wrong and landed them in the situation they are in now. Divorced and miserable! Now with some serious effort and some new decisions being made (hopefully the right ones) they might just be able to fix the divorce that never should have happened. I 100% hope these to collaborate again and give us Gabby and Chase’s story, you know there’s something going on there!!!!
This gifted collaboration of authors’ has done a fantastic job in penning this masterpiece! Gwen and Harrison are newly divorced, and now he is determined to prove to Gwen that they are worth a second chance. This is a beautifully written story which is heartbreaking, emotional, gritty, steamy and sweet with a tad angst and suspense, which all had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented duo of authors’, and recommend for all.
Wow this book was such a wonderful read!! I was super nervous about it, bc I’m not sure what to expect with a storyline like this. These ladies are 2 of my favorite authors & them co-writing had me seriously intrigued. I am those diehard 1 click everything that Kaylee writes, like no lie I could sit & read this woman’s grocery list bc I love everything she writes.
The combination of both Lacey & Kaylee’s style made this story a top must read of the summer. It is a reminder of us stuck in a marriage that we have slowly let other things come in between our significant other. What do we do when we decide to give it up because we are no longer getting what we want out of our life?!?! Is it possible to find love again with the person we fell in love with so many years ago. Gwen is strong & like many of us women, feeling lost & un-loved. I can relate, this is the story of my life, yet I’m much older. The fear, the hurt, the loss is felt with each word wrote, chapter written & I fell so in love with her. I want to be her. Harrison is what every woman wants. The way he finally gets his head out of his butt!! He is sweet, caring, & begins to find his way back to Gwen. I’m already looking forward to the next story.
I highly recommend this book. Told in dual POV.
What a delightful, sometimes angsty, at times witty and emotional second chance romance from the brand new writing duo of Lacey Black and Kaylee Ryan! I loved how seamless the writing was, how you couldn’t tell who wrote what part! I have loved every single thing that Ms. Black has written, but this is my first from Ms. Ryan….I think I’ll have to check out more from her in the future!
After Gwendolyn and Harrison’s divorce is final, the reality seems to hit them both square in the face…the love they still have for one another seems to have been not enough. Let the swoon-fest begin, because Harrison has no intention of letting sleeping dogs lay and pulls out ALL the stops to get his Winnie back where she belongs…..in his arms and in his life! Winnie is resistant at first, but she soon succumbs to the love of her life, Harrison’s heart-stoppingly romantic advances! These two were sooooooo obviously meant to be together and I loved the sexy, steamy journey to their HEA! And can we talk about the hilariously funny and sexy chemistry between Harrison’s bestie, Chase and Winnie’s sister, Gabby? The banter between these two had me laughing out loud on many occasions and I can’t WAIT for their story!
All-in-all, It’s Not Over is a sweet, emotional, sexy little novel that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves a second chance romance with heat and heart! Well done, ladies!
Kaylee and Lacey are amazing writers all on their own. Put them together and wow. This was an amazing emotional heart wrenching storyline. I wanted to cry, throw my kindle, kick someone’s butt and cheer. Gwen and Harrison are falling apart. Their marriage has reached its limited. But neither one of them have stopped loving the other. One special event after signing the divorce papers and a car accident later puts the ball rolling to bring these two back together. But will it be that easy? I absolutely loved going on this ride with Gwen and Harrison. You can easily see and feel that these two love each other and have amazing chemistry. They just need to work on things but will they be able too. An amazing well written storyline with two amazing characters. I also loved Uncle Chase and Aunt Gabby. I am so hoping we get their story next. These two authors together are absolutely amazing and this book is a must read
4 Stars
I adore both Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black’s writing, so when I discovered that they had co-written It’s Not Over, it was a no brainer that I had to read this book.
I adored Winnie and Harrison’s second chance romance. This pair have an enduring love, despite the fact that at some point they lost their way. This book is their story of finding their way back to each other, and it’s unique, emotional, at times angsty and heartfelt, with a touch of suspense.
Their interactions and love felt real, the issues they face could be any married couple dealing with the stresses that come with life, love and family. The love, chemistry and passion they share for each other is undeniable.
Overall an engaging story, with endearing characters, and I hope we see this duo collaborate more in the future.
This book was amazing!! It was one of the most unique second chance romances I have read. The chemistry between Gwen and Harrison was amazing!! I am always scared to read a co written book with two authors that I love because I have high expectations but Kaylee and Lacey NAILED THIS BOOK!!! It was written so well and their writing blended perfectly. I can’t wait for more books by these incredible authors!
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I could not have loved this book more. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Harrison is extremely swoon worthy and determined to win back the love of his life. Winnie is cautious, of course, and says she wants to take things slow. The chemistry and connection between them is off the charts and their story is unputdownable. Then you have Chase and Gabby! Oh my, the banter and sparks between them were fabulous. A must read book! Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black make an amazing writing team.
Aww I loved this second chance romance!!
I am already a Kaylee Ryan fan but will definitely be checking out more of Lacey Black’s books!
Harrison and Gwen are an awesome couple. They lost their way but when you give your heart away it finds its way back.
I loved seeing them fall in love all over again. And the supporting characters were great!! I’d love to see Gabby and Chase get a book!
I’ve read (and adored!) books by both of these authors, so when I found out they had written a book together, I HAD to have it! There was absolutely no way I was gonna miss this one! Totally a stand alone, this book is all about what happens when HEA isn’t what you thought it would be. What happens when what you thought you wanted, isn’t what you want at all? And how to you get to where you really wanted to be all along?
Winnie and Harrison have just gotten divorced. The problem is, neither one of them are happy about it. Signing off on the end of their marriage seems to have made them realize what was missing, and what they really wanted in life. When the unexpected happens, they both see a possibility for a second chance, but can they make it work?
This story was absolutely amazing! I’ve already read it twice, and the second read was just as fabulous as the first! If you are a fan of either author, or both authors, or if you’ve never read anything by either of them before, GRAB THIS BOOK! It isn’t like anything else out there, and it is definitely worth your time! Winnie and Harrison will quickly become one of your favorite couples, I have no doubt!
This is a fantastic and beautifully written second chance romance. Gwen and Harrison are getting divorced, though there is still so much chemistry, emotion and love between the two of them. Harrison is determined to make it work again.
I really didn’t know what to expect going into this book. I’ve read books by both authors in the past and have loved them and this one was no different. It was a different story, at least from other second chance romances I have read previously. This story was emotional, so full of love and even had a little bit of suspense.
There is so much I could say about this book, but I truly don’t want to spoil any part of it. If you love an unexpected second chance romance that will make you swoon and has a little suspense this is definitely one you’ll want to pick up!
I can’t wait to read more collaborations from Kaylee and Lacey in the future and I hope we get to see more of these characters again in the future!
This story started with a cry but had me smiling silly by the end of it. Harrison and Winnie had me rooting for them so hard that when the HEA came I was crying happy tears.
This book was not easy to read. With everything that went on prior to divorce, the one thing that was obvious was the love they felt for one another. I loved the fact that both took the blame for the way they marriage ended. This book was a healing process to regain trust that was lost.
I fell in love with both MCs and side characters. I hoping there is more books for this group because I have a feeling that Chaseand Gabby have a great story for us to read.

These two authors wrote an amazing story about second chances! 5+++ stars for this one!
This is their first book together, and I’m begging them for more stories! I could not tell who wrote what because their writing is very similar!
We start off with Harrison, he and his wife Winnie (Gwen but only he calls her Winnie) have been together since their sophomore year of college. They were joined at the hip, even though their studies and schedules were different they made it work.
Here they are years later, married and Harrison is opening up his third gym, and they are also getting divorced. Neither really wants this, but each thinks it’s what the other wants. After all they tried to make it work, but it’s not.
Can these two find their way back to each other, they are both miserable without the other, but can they get past the obstacles that are in front of them?
Amazing story, grab this one asap, these two authors wrote a great story, I’m hoping they will write more!
Awe, this story was so beautiful. The romance between Gwen and Harrison was enchanting. I mean, they got a second chance right as their first chance was ending and I loved it. There wasn’t tons of back and forth, no fighting their feelings and calling it quits. It was just a beautiful story of reigniting their love for each other. There wasn’t a ton of drama so it made for a pretty laid back read.
I will say that I wish that there was more “dating” like Harrison stated at the start. I understand why there want but I just wanted to see it. There is some awesome setup for another book and fingers crossed it comes quickly. This is my first book by this duo but I’ll be stalking for more. They write together beautifully. 4 stars #2OCCJD
What a great read if I could I would give this book 100 stars. Lacey and Kaylee join forces to gives us a brilliant second chance romance that is full of heart swooning moments, plenty of steam and moments of laughter. I really hope the secondary characters Chase and Gabby get there own book.
This pure and raw love story was a solid 5 star page turner. A duo of authors that delivered an astonishing masterpiece.
Winnie and Harrison have loved each other a long time but they lost themselves along the way. Now coming full circle with a surprise outcome none of them saw coming.
This was quite an original storyline, it went backwards. I don’t want to spoil anything. They were meant for each other so they get a second chance to make it right. I was captivated by these amazingly created characters. It’s an highly addicting and captivating page turner.
Standalone told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.
It’s Not Over is a wonderful and heartfelt second chance love story. I have read these two authors separately, and have loved and enjoyed their stories and characters. Needless to say, I was excited when I heard they were doing this joint collaboration. This story was easy reading, full of emotion and had an effortless flow.
Harrison and Gwyn have a strong love and that’s evident from page one even when they aren’t sure how to make their marriage work. Once these two start to focus on all of the good and decide to truly give their relationship another shot it’s amazing! There’s a perfect balance of tears, happy moments, a few suspenseful ones and a second chance that is so beautiful. Kaylee and Lacey complement each other perfectly. This new release truly does have it all.
It’s Not Over is angsty and emotional with a dash of suspense. In addition, there is a cast of secondary characters that brings even more depth and believability to the story. This was a book I immensely enjoyed and hope for more from this duo.
Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black have teamed up to deliver one second chance romance that is kindle meltworthy. Ryan and Black are two of my most favorite romance authors. Both are known for delivering the ultimate guy that you can’t help but falling hard and fast for. By combining their efforts, these two ensured for one fabulous love story that you just can’t put down.
Despite their life plans going in different directions, Winnie and Harrison Drake never had a problem with chemistry or passion for each other. Although they truly harbored deep uncontrollable love for each other, they continued with their divorce until fate had a way of intervening and giving these two a second chance at love. Ryan and Black actually start this story at the end of their marriage giving us a different perspective on a second chance love story which I found completely refreshing to this trope.
However, I think they may have made Harrison a little too perfect of a husband. Determined to win his girl back, Harrison is alpha all the way. While I do love my alpha men, he was a big more exaggerated than I thought necessary. Constantly taking all the hits for their failed marriage was a tiny bit unrealistic. While, yes, I do know this is fiction, I thought Ryan and Black could have made this story a notch better by giving a more realistic spin on the issues these two faced rather than glossing over them and adding an additional plot that really wasn’t necessary.
With that being said, I did absolutely love this happily ever after story. Winnie and Harrison’s road to forever was a sweet one filled with unconditional love and steamy passion that any reader would find irresistible. Ryan and Black brought out a fun lightheartedness to this book with the addition of Chase and Gabby, two side characters that I absolutely am already rooting for and can only hope to get their story told.
So if you are looking for a second chance love story that hold a bit different perspective and a swoony romance to boot, then make sure you one click It’s Not Over by Ryan and Black.
Amazing! Totally Swoon-worthy!
Incredible, fantastic read!
This book tugged at all my heartstrings. From the very first page I was invested. I needed to see this amazing couple get there happily-ever-after. They deserved it so much!
Harrison and Winnie were happily married at one time. But lately, Harrison let his job come first. He didn’t mean to, though. All Harrison wanted was to create a future for him and his precious Winnie. They had made so many dreams over the decade they were together. And when that all came crashing down, it not only broke both their hearts, but mine was hurting too. And that right there is one of the many reasons I loved this book. This author duo had me engaged and eagerly awaiting for Winnie and Harrison’s happy-ever-after. They made me feel everything!
It’s not often I come across books where the H/h are already married. And even though there were only glimpses into their past together, I believed their relationship was special. I felt their love on every page. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that Winnie and Harrison belonged together.
I won’t go into details because I don’t want to ruin the experience of this amazing book for you. I will say that It’s Not Over is angsty and emotional with a good amount of suspense. In addition, there is a cast of secondary characters that bring even more depth and believability to the story. This was a book I immensely enjoyed. I believe there is going to be a book featuring Harrison’s best friend, Chase and Winnie’s sister Gabby. I am looking forward to that book!
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂
