This was amazing, I was expecting that the ending would be really unrealistic, actually it was so realistic and I cried my eyes out.

Could not ignore the blatant transphobia. Just about lost it when they referred to Jennifer as “he/she/it”. Zero stars, would not recommend.

Inspired by the author’s own psychiatric stay after reaching out for help, this book shows how depression can grab you and drag you down and make you feel like you are worthless and have no other option than to kill yourself. It also shows who to reach out to and how.

I think this was a great book about a kid struggling with depression. It was a book about depression that wasn’t depressing at all. Craig’s journey through his depression is relatable and completely realistic. I recommend this book for anyone wondering just how debilitating depression can be.

Even though the subject matter is serious and sometimes dark, the book maintains a sense of humor. It’s also an incredibly honest and useful description of the physical and mental manifestations of depression.
