If just reading the blurb is not enough for one-clicking, know that this book, for me, had everything. I LOVED it!! I had been waiting for it to come out and was ecstatic to be lucky enough to receive an early copy from the author.
I found the storyline original, well written, and very engaging. It was one of those books that I just couldn’t put down…a super alpha-hot-guy set on winning back the love of the wife he had thought lost for the last 3 years. He’ll stop at nothing to regain the love of his life…even her not remembering anything about him and their life together.
With the perfect balance between action, suspense, and romance, Ms. Paige takes us on the journey of two people rediscovering themselves and each other, the love they can have, and the uncovering of the secrets behind their separation. It’s Always Been You includes excellent fight sequences, steamy-hot scenes, witty conversations, and wonderful secondary characters (plus a little MC showdown somewhere in between).
If you like your guys with slight (or not so slight) caveman tendencies; strong, tough heroines with a tender and soft side; great chemistry between characters; and to have a great time with a book, I highly recommend this read. It’s definitely going into my re-read list and I’m anxiously waiting for the next one in the series to be written.

Short review. Mixed feelings. While I did enjoy the book there were things that frustrated and annoyed me, I liked Travis and how devoted and how much he loves Caitlin/Sarah but I did think the writer wrote him as being too Alpha Male at times that I wish it had been tone done many times while reading the book. I enjoyed dirty talking protective Travis but at times he was too nearsighted and so caught up in his own emotions not that I can blame him, Caitlin was also too caught up in her own emotions as well, so it wasn’t just him. It’s understandable that Caitlin was struggling to readjust to her life and fact that her and Travis were once married but it did annoy me how she would intentionally throw her relationship with Jase in Travis face to hurt him. Both of them really needed to sit down and air out they’re feelings instead of constantly walking around their issues, pain and hurt they felt. For how long the book is I really wish there was flashbacks to Sarah/Caitlin and Travis past relationship, it would have great way of showing why Travis felt so strong about love for her.
If you are a fan of covert operations, deep mystery and active sensual scenes, this is the book for you. The author did a great job of heavy topics such as amnesia, hired thugs and criminal activity plus interaction between the characters in the story-line.
There’s Russians, spies, undercover government operatives and more. Even though the male hero was heavy on the control of his woman, the story kept me thoroughly engrossed from beginning to The End.
