It Happens…. and just it had happen that I can’t run away from this author and Bear Bottom Guardians MC series ! Lani Lyn Vale introduced me to world of big, alpha men with golden hearts and I can’t leave this place.
Another book in series, another characters to catch up and life couldn’t be more perfect. I like how this author continiued this series. Every book could be read as standalone, however… it’s so much fun to meet old pals, from previous parts.
It happen is about Zee & Jublee. They are sooo different, I couldn’t imagine how they will match together. They fought for the most of time, but thanks to that I’ve got lot and lot of fun. They were angry for each other but it makes whole story even more delicious. When hate turned to love, it could be only hot story to catch up. I floved chemistry between them, it was hood to read how their feelings grow into something more.
Highly recomending this book for all MC’s fans, and also for the readers who like to read hate to love books. IT HAPPENS is absolutely worth every reader’s time !
4.5 star
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.
Before reading this story please read the below books first
Mess Me Up (Bear Bottom Guardians MC, #1)
Talkin’ Trash (Bear Bottom Guardians MC #2)
How About No (Bear Bottom Guardians MC #3)
My Bad (Bear Bottom Guardians MC #4)
One Chance, Fancy (Bear Bottom Guardians MC #5)
This is Jubilee and Zee’s story. Jubilee and Zee had plans but not with each other. They both dated and were planning to marry the other’s sibling. When the siblings died in a freak accident there was guilt and blame to go around. He has always blamed her and treats her as such. He never has a nice word for her and ever word he hurls at her she feels the pain and cut of it. When they need each other it’s weird and uncomfortable and they have a lot off issues to work through. The feelings are flying passion and love and hate. Can they work though the past and present in order to move forward? Or do they just need to stay away from each other?
I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. As with any book or series you pick up you get a glimpse of another set of characters in another series. All of the books tie into each other with the characters overlapping. Makes you want to go back and re-read the series over and over.
I highly recommend this book or really let’s be honest any book this author has written.
This series just keeps getting better and better! OMG! I loved Zee and Jubilee’s story. It was an enemies to lovers story with a dash of all the good stuff.
Zee and his brother Tan were inseparable from another set of twins, Jubilee and Annmarie. Zee dates Annmarie and Tan is with Jubilee all through their teenage years. I really want to comment on this, but it would probably be a spoiler. So, read the book and see what you think.
I think It Happens was the most suspenseful of the series so far. I got really creeped out, but a good creeped out. It was like something off CSI: Las Vegas and Lifetime. I swear, read it and tell me what Lifetime movie this gives a nod to. Seriously. I loved it and it hit all my drama, mystery, and suspense buttons.
I loved the relationship that evolves between them. And the tattoo… gah, it made my heart melt.
I adored this book, and you need to pick this series up RIGHT NOW!

Zee and Jubilee have known each other since they were kids. They were pretty much raised together as their parents were friends and they each dated the others sibling. Jubilee always felt that Zee was putting her down when growing up and then when the unthinkable happens, they end up hating each other. Blaming each other.
Fast forward 16 years of having each others backs when they’ve had enough of taking cheap shots at each other and lock lips instead. Then they’re taken aback about what they feel. Shouldn’t they still hate each other? When the families find out, they couldn’t be more supportive. How are they going to get through everything that happened?
Laughed throughout the book. I loved that Jubilee had no problems saying what was on her mind and Zee could read her like a book. Loved the side characters and family.
It Happens is one of the funniest I’ve read from LLV. Jubilee and Zee are so perfect for each other even though they can’t really see that at first. I can’t imagine what they both went through as teenagers. Yet they still had to be near each other even through the hate. Jubilee hates Zee. Zee hates Jubilee. Can one night change that?
Jubilee is so funny. She had me cracking up so much. I love her sassy attitude. The way she handles Zee and his attitude will have you rolling. Zee is a so sexy and protective, even though he doesn’t want to protect Jubilee he does. He says it’s for her parents, but deep down its because he feels something for her. The back and forth and the banter between these two is epic.
LLV always has me hooked within the first pages. It Happens is no different. I love seeing old faces and meeting new ones. LLV has created a massive and beautiful family.
This one is by far my favorite so far!!! The banter between these two is so good!!!!
I can’t even try to explain how perfect this enemies to lovers read is. Gripping right from the emotional beginning and sailing right in to epically hilarious sarcasm and banter. Zee and Jubilee have a story that is downright addictive. I think I laughed more and swooned more than any other Lani Lynn Vale book while reading this, and that’s saying something because I have loved everything she’s ever written. There is just something about these two that creates a whole new level of awesome and I couldn’t get enough of it!
The enemy aspect of Zee and Jubilee is alive and well right from the start. From childhood, through tragedy and into adulthood these two are constantly at each other’s throats while simultaneously also always having each other’s backs. The sparks that fly every time they’re together are incredible and the barbs they throw at each other had me laughing until I cried. I loved every second of it. Then as these two spend more and more time together instead of running in the opposite direction everything builds into some serious sweep you off your feet, fan yourself from the heat, happy sighing goodness that will 100% steal your heart.
While they’ve always had each other’s backs, Zee and Jubilee haven’t gotten along since she threw his favorite hat in the fire when Zee was 9 and Jubilee was only 6. Constantly together because of their father’s motorcycle club, it only seemed natural that twins Annmarie and Jubilee dated brothers Zee and Eitan. But as teenagers, both Zee and Jubilee are left reeling when a freak accident kills their siblings and leaves them a mismatched couple who can’t stand to be in the same room as one another.
Even 16 years later, Zee and Jubilee are like oil and water . . . until they aren’t. When both have a bit too much to drink one night they realize that the line between love and hate is easy to cross, especially when passions flare hot. Can Zee and Jubilee learn to enjoy each other outside of the bedroom, or will ghosts from the past keep them apart.
Zee and Jubilee could not be more opposite . . . but from the start, their relationship reminded me of children teasing one another because they didn’t know how to express that they “liked” each other. And, as they got older, these feelings, masked as dislike grew so hot they couldn’t be contained any longer.
Even though her business is death . . .she runs a mortuary . . . Jubilee is so full of life. She has so much spark and sass that she easily keeps Zee on his toes. And Zee is such a protector . . .even when he doesn’t want to be. He always picks the wrong women. But, when he decides to give a relationship with Jubilee a chance, he is all in, and I loved it!
As with every Lani Lynn Vale book, there is always some sort of a twist readers never see coming, but this one takes the freaking cake! Seriously, holy freaking plot twist! Honestly, it’s like an episode of Criminal Minds and plays out in ways no one could imagine bringing crazy amounts of drama and suspense to the story.
I loved this couple – especially their rapport which runs a bit sarcastic and I loved this story. This entire series has been a treat so far and I can’t wait to see what’s up next for the Bear Bottom MC. 5 stars.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Oh my goddnes I have fallen in love with this book and it will always rate up there as one of my favorite Lani Lynn Vale book. Zee and Jubilee have quiet the story to tell. This book will have you reading like mad from the very first page. These two have some very snarky interaction and some really hilarious moments. I know that doesn’t seem possible when you read the description of this book and know that two people died but it is not depressing and if you love enemies to lovers book then this is one that your not going to miss. As is the style of Lani Lynn Vale’s books there is plenty of suspense which sometimes I figure out but most times I don’t. This one is one of those I feel like no one is going to figure out. Just go now and get this book. It is one of Lani Lynn Vale’s best books to date and you do not want to miss it.
Jubilee and Ezekiel (Zee) are enemies from the moment they meet at 6 and 9 years old. They were supposed to marry each others siblings but a tragic accident ends in death. Now the two of them are realizing that maybe all the fighting was due to dynamic sexual attraction. This story had it all going on and kept me interested to the last page.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.

Zee and Jubilee have been each others nemesis’ since they were little kids, always riling each other up and arguing the day away. As they got into their teens they started dating the others siblings, them both being one of a set of twins, until one fateful stormy day their other halves were killed. 16 years later they are still the same squabbling pair, seeming to hate each other but they also look out for each other and when one of them needs help getting out of an awkward situation, it starts the journey of this lifelong fighting pair to realise that maybe that hate is actually love.
This was funny (omg the haunted house with Liner was freaking hilarious) and sweet but still drama filled with HOT bedroom action and yet another page turner from LLV. I loved it and can’t wait for the next one. I give 5 stars for It Happens.

Zee and Jubilee have history, bad history, it all starts from one mishap and from there it goes downhill. Throughout the years that hate never diminished and for the most part they try and stay away from each other, but if they are in the same place words are normally exchanged. Somehow they end up living in Bear Bottom, and as adults the hate is still there, maybe hate is the wrong word; loathe, detest, strong dislike. When the two wake up after a night of drinking.. together… in bed… naked… what happens to all that hate now? Is this just a drunken mistake or is it more?
So as I inhaled this story, a thought hit me, one of the reasons LLV’s characters are so real is that she gives us the little details. It was all in the French fries, that Jubilee doesn’t like them cold and who can eat them if they aren’t hot… those little details that LLV puts into her stories, make the characters standout more as people and that is the difference between a good book and a great one. I loved everything about this story, you get all the feels. Some danger and suspense, some really hot naughty bits, and some laughs. I give this 5 stars.
This book begins with a tragedy, and ends with an HEA! Talk about an emotional up and down! I just couldn’t contain myself, there were lots of laughs, and even a few tears while reading this book. Just what I love about this author’s books!
Jubilee lost two of the most important people in her life to tragedy at a young age, and in the process, almost lost her own life and that of the person that is the bane of her existence. Afterwards, she isn’t quite the same person. And the one person that she had left in her young life to connect her to the ones she lost, treats her like a pariah, like he can’t even stand the sight of her. Which is only fair, because she treats him the same way. Those two are like sand paper together!
Zee lost his twin brother, and his girlfriend in one fell swoop. And the one person he blames for it all, is the one person he feels obligated to watch out for. But they can’t be near each other without words flying, and hate spewing. Until all of that animosity blows up and leaves them reeling!
I loved the interactions between Zee and Jubilee. Their arguments were hilarious at times, and brutal at others. But always there were sparks flying underneath the animosity. It was only a matter of time before it exploded! This book is full of everything I love in a romance. There is lots of family, lots of love, plenty of heat, and surprises around every corner!
