Marry—or else.Navy SEAL Brian Lake is out of luck. Going rogue on his last mission landed him on a fast track out of the Navy—years too soon to have saved up enough money to buy the ranch he’s always wanted. Without a career—or the cash to start over—Brian’s options are few, until Army general Augustus Reed steps in with an intriguing new mission—a permanent one.Ignored by her absentee father, … absentee father, duped by thief he appointed to oversee her family’s ranch, Cass Reed is done with men for good. From now on she’s determined to run Two Willows herself, so when her father sends a Navy SEAL to fix up her house, she vows to run him off her land as soon as possible. But Brian’s just as determined to stay, and he’s in a far different league than the men she’s met before.
Brian’s ready to do anything that will earn him a share of a prosperous ranch—even take a chance on marrying the General’s daughter. And he soon realizes it won’t be a hardship to marry Cass. She’s everything he’s ever dreamed of in a woman—and Two Willows is everything he wanted in a ranch.
But he’s not the only one who wants Two Willows—and Cass.
Will falling in love be the most dangerous mission of all?

This was an enjoyable book and series. Romance, fun, and great interaction w the characters. A little bit too much angst but a fun easy read.
Ohh my. This book starts out with me getting angry but ends with a huge smile. I love this and cant wait to read the next one. Who will find love next.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story! The characters were real and flawed and wonderful. And the family dynamic was so realistic; just like real families are supposed to be. Can’t wait to read the rest of this series.
I love her books – this is a great series. This first book encouraged me to buy the others in the set so I can figure out the fate of the sisters and Two Willows. great character development along with plots. Bit of intrigue/suspense with the romance. You can’t go wrong getting this book
Loved it!
everything I’ve ever read by Cora Seaton has been a page turner. this one did not disappoint.
Great book
Good story…not the usual redundant storyline.
I read the series and enjoyed each book except for the lengthy descriptive sex. It was not needed in the story. I skip to the next chapter. I would not recommend these books for that reason.
Love all her books
Loved it!! Especially the concept the dad was using!
I like Cora’s books. They are a good read.
Hard heroic protective men are great.
This is a different take on a romance. The women are strong. This is a five book story line and I have read only one. The fact that their father never visits they is hard too understand.
enjoyed the characters. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
I enjoyed the book with fast action and feeling of the sacred stone…getting in the way of true love..
Awesome book!! I had a hard time putting it down. I bought the rest of the series and read them all in just a few days. Can’t wait until the next one comes out. This is a must read book series.
I really enjoyed this book more than I expected to. There are many things to say but I think it would give too much away. In my opinion it was well done as I could see most of the book as something that could happen in real life.
There were times of lessons learned to funny moments to bold action, some sad situations and who doesn’t love happy times?
Enjoyable plot, characters with enough action to keep one entertained & not wanting to put the book down.
Cute story
