Airman Connor O’Riley doesn’t believe in love. But when he crosses into a warzone to rescue a downed pilot, and finds an elderly Syrian couple has kept the man safe, he’s moved by the pair’s long-term devotion to each other to rescue them, too—and promptly lands himself in hot water. Shunted aside to a make-work, multi-branch detail under Army general Augustus Reed, Connor will do whatever it … takes to clear his name—even if that means heading to Montana to marry the general’s daughter.
Sadie Reed is done with love. Her poor choices nearly got her sisters killed when she fell for a man entrenched in the drug trade. She’s ready to leave Chance Creek—just as soon as her sister returns from her honeymoon. So when the handsome airman shows up at Two Willows, with orders from her father to help Sadie build a legacy project, she gives Connor one month to get it done.
Connor never thought he’d fall for Sadie, but when he learns she means to leave, he knows far more than his mission is at stake. Can he convince her to stay?
Or will love remain out of his reach for good?

I really enjoy this author. I’ve read others in the series and it has a touch of romance and a touch of action.
It’s part of a series and an interesting underlying concept. I got hooked on the first one and had to read about the other four sisters.
Must read this whole series. You will find yourself swept away into the lives of this small ranching town.
I love the entries in this series of Cora Seton’s books. Actually, I love all of her books!
I love the mysticism and romance
The premise of this series is a little far fetched, but if you can get by that, it has good characters and interesting plot twists. However, the absentee father arranging marriages for his daughters is a little ridiculous.
Cora Seton can’t go wrong. She builds believable characters, and you just can’t put the book down. I feel like I know the families in Chance Creek. Wish it was a real place!
Fun story line. Hunky alphas and smart heroines. Add in a loving, but headstrong family of sisters. Enjoyed it! Looking forward to more in the series.
I am following all the series by her and they keep your interest
Great series with unique and likeable characters. I’ve read them all and enjoy reading about familiar characters.
I love this series!
The situation is not exactly believable but a good read,
The General had picked out husbands for his daughters. This is the second one. So far his plan is working beautifully. I’m wondering about the predated letters from his wife. So good.
Great series
Book 2 of the Two Willows Series. I’ve read other books in this series. Enough distance between them that out-of-sequences hasn’t mattered. They can stand alone. Delightful when I get another segment, though.
I really like the girls of two willows … and I like the guys. Rarely do I struggle with the plot line. It has a good pace. Ok, this time I really struggled with top notch military not finding something out. Set that aside. If once or twice is enough for a sex scene, skim past the rest.
Absolutely Spectacular .
I really enjoyed reading this story .
Para rescue Airman Connor O’Riley is the second man General Reed has sent to Two Willows Ranch in Chance Creek , Montana to meet and marry Sadie Reed another daughter . Connor man just be the man Sadie needs to protect and love her . Her perfect match .
Connor has a tough row to hoe to convince and win Sadie’s heart and definitely protect her .This is a fabulous suspense romance . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
Great
This time Sadie needs to get her life in order after everything that happened with Mark. Cass & Brian just got married but she is thinking of leaving after they get back. Conner was sent by the general to help Sadie, but is a little afraid of commitment after his parents divorce. Can they see it through.
Oh, MY! This was even BETTER than #1! And the overarching story arcs ~ that’s right: plural! There are TWO story arcs going from book to book: their ‘absent’ father, the General ~ will he ever acknowledge them and return home?? And then there’s whoever is trying to take over the ranch and harm the Reed sisters . . . . will only these two (with more coming!) husbands be enough?? Can’t wait for #3!!!
I really like Cora’s books and this series has me hooked. This was a great read. In books like this we know it’s happy ever after, it’s the journey there that is the story. I loved this one and can’t wait to start the next one.
5 sisters trying to run the family ranch only to have their absentee father the General blocking them. Each sister has a special gift from their mother that helps them with their speciality of running the ranch. The General is now sending husbands for his daughters to try to keep them in line. The airmen isn’t he second to arrive.
