Airman Connor O’Riley doesn’t believe in love. But when he crosses into a warzone to rescue a downed pilot, and finds an elderly Syrian couple has kept the man safe, he’s moved by the pair’s long-term devotion to each other to rescue them, too—and promptly lands himself in hot water. Shunted aside to a make-work, multi-branch detail under Army general Augustus Reed, Connor will do whatever it … takes to clear his name—even if that means heading to Montana to marry the general’s daughter.
Sadie Reed is done with love. Her poor choices nearly got her sisters killed when she fell for a man entrenched in the drug trade. She’s ready to leave Chance Creek—just as soon as her sister returns from her honeymoon. So when the handsome airman shows up at Two Willows, with orders from her father to help Sadie build a legacy project, she gives Connor one month to get it done.
Connor never thought he’d fall for Sadie, but when he learns she means to leave, he knows far more than his mission is at stake. Can he convince her to stay?
Or will love remain out of his reach for good?

This is one of a series. The premise of the series is somewhat unlikely so there’s some willing suspension of disbelief BUT they are sweet and fun to read.
Seton always seems to provide a good read.

Good read
I loved this and the whole series!
This was a good relaxing read. Doesn’t t move very fast but the characters are good and the story is interesting. The story continues with other servicemen and the women of the family.
Loved the series. They aren’t traditional cliffhangers but each book leads to the next one so it’s best to read them in order.
good read
Loved every exciting moment
Another good one in the series
I loved the setting and the strong women characters. Looking forward to the other siblings’ journeys…
A wonderful addition to this series! All have wonderful enticing characters that pull the reader into the story. With so much unpleasantness in the world today, these stories leave you smiling and with a lighter heart!
Love these alpha male, real men romances! Thank you!
I really like Cora Seton’s books. She is fairly knew to me, but I like the way she builds her characters. When I finish I want the story to go on.
