Ann Omasta is fun and original… I recommend her to anyone.
I’ve been to Antigua before but nothing like this. The author does an amazing job with writing enjoyable characters overcoming their predicaments while in paradise. Makes me want to go back there and find my own Shay! It’s a great read.

This was such a cute read I really enjoyed it. This is Lizzie story she is trying to make sure her friend’s sister gets her dream wedding but everything keeps going wrong but she is determined it will all go smoothly and thanks to Shay who just keeps turning up just when she needs help that may happen. I really liked these two together I just wish she had not been quite so cold with him in the beginning

Lizzie has her hands full trying to troubleshoot for her best friend’s island wedding. Having been the center for the first one not going through she only wanted to ensure that things run smoothly for this one. When Baggy falls ill and the sudden appearance of Ruthie’s other grandmother things heat up. Is Lizzie way over her head and will she be able to hold up to the bargain of the producer? This is filled with drama and keeps you on edge until the last page.

Island Hopping (Escape #3), my twenty-fifth read from author Ann Omasta. Another, entertaining, and well-written HEA read from her, maybe the best of the three (as narrator the author does a wonderful job). I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Now on to Daring the Judge (Daring Desires #5). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
Island Hopping
The Escape Series, Book 3
By: Ann Omasta
Narrated by: Ann Omasta
I can always count on Ann Omasta to take me away and entertain me. This series is fun and flirty and brings us Lizzie’s story. After the first book, and how things went down with her best friend Roxy, I am glad to see how things played out. The producers from the reality show have asked Lizzie to come and help with Roxy’s sister’s wedding, and Lizzie sees this as a chance fro redemption. After the fiasco that broke ties with her best friend, she has missed that feeling of family. She is consumed with work, and now on the island is doing her best to pull off the best wedding possible. But things are not always easy, and the show is definitely making the job a lot harder than necessary. With no reservation, Lizzie is taken in by a worker, Shay and while there are sparks, he is not ambitious enough to have for the long term. So why not a fling? There is so much going on in this one, full of funny lines, bantering grandmothers, compromising weather and a budding relationship that is fun and flirty. I loved coming back to all of these characters and seeing just how reality can be interpreted! Ann Omasta narrates her story, with fantastic voices and that spark of fun! I was totally immersed in this, had some chuckles and fell in love with Shay and Lizzie!

This book starts out looking like a simple case of opposites attract, but Lizzie and Shay’s story is a little more involved than merely the driven Type-A city girl meets the laid-back surfer. Their misadventures are filled with snark and spice, and they show us Murphy’s Law hard at work. At the end of this trilogy I’m left wondering if the author has a bit of a vindictive streak with how ruthlessly she wields the question: “so what really is the absolute worst that could happen?” There are some seriously creative possibilities in answer to that question in here. I kind of hope we get to come back and visit these characters again sometime in the future.
A great well written entertaining fun romance story with soo much more. This enjoyable storyline includes lots of drama, some tears humor, meaness, and love. I loved how everything all cames together through all the sabotooge, resistence, glitches, rolling cameras and a mysterious beach bum white knight. The characters are fun, interesting, quirky, and even include cameoes from previous series characters. A great fun read.

Island Hopping (The Escape Series Book 3) was a great book by Ann Omasta. Lizzie didn’t mean to steal her best friend’s fiancé the night before their wedding. She finds herself in some crazy predicaments and finds herself being saved by Shay. I absolutely loved reading this book and can’t wait to read more by Ann Omasta.
The good storyline and the well rounded characters made this book well worth the read! I look forward to reading more from this author!

Later on she saves the grandmother, the wedding and is forgiven by her best friend and her family.

Fun and funny romance with a couple of twists and turns. Perfect for some light reading when you just want to get away.
Island Hopping. (The Escape Series Book 3) by Ann Omasta is witty well written story.
Lizzie very detailed person has been wracked with guilt for breaking up her best friend wedding by kissing the groom on a reality TV show. Lizzie is the most hated person with her best friends family that she agrees to assist her friends sister wedding to make sure the reality show doesn’t ruin the wedding. Nothing goes well when Lizzie gets to the island and a beach bum Shay offers her his room to stay in for the wedding. They have chemistry but they are totally different people. Throughly enjoyed reading the antics of the characters in Island Hopping and highly recommend reading and enjoying it.
If you like a plucky heroine who fights her way through adversity, Lizzie’s trials and triumphs, with some romance on the side, fit the bill. This tale of a destination wedding being filmed for reality tv is full of mini disasters that organizer par excellence Lizzie is desperate to remedy to get back in her friends’ good graces. Her romantic interest, Shay, is a bit of a mystery. I would have liked more backstory on him. The whole story is told from Lizzie’s point of view and this leaves a lot of Shay’s actions and thoughts unreported. Fine as a standalone. I did not read the previous books in the series and, though numerous characters resurface from the earlier books, I could easily enjoy this one without having read the whole series.
Another great quick read in this series. This is about Shay and Lizzie and how they meet and what goes on to pull off the wedding of Andrew and Ruthie. Some of the stuff happening to destroy the perfect wedding is happening because of the producers to get better ratings, of course. But it all turns out for the best in the end.
