Irresistible Heroes Anthology was packed full of fun, emotional, feels invoking read, that kept me moving from one engaging story to the next.
I love anthologies, there is always a story for everyone, and you get to discover new authors. This one was no different, and I now have a few new authors to stalk… I mean follow.. yeah follow..
Anyways, as I was saying, this anthology was all that and more. I flew through this, and I was a little sad when it ended. The stories in these wonder don’t follow one another, so you don’t need to read them in order, you can flip back and forth, do whatever you want.
I will say that I did very much enjoy Fire Me Up by Alicia Street, it was that type of romance, it was sweet witty and just… so many feels. I also liked Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson, which I will say is an author I know and have read books by. It was part of the reason I chose this anthology. Again, this story was pulling, sparked the feels and the MC’s were just a joy to read about. I have so many feels right now, that my brain is all mushy.
So I’m going to stop rambling and just leave you with my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.
Happy Reading
-E.A. Walsh
I loved this anthology. Each story was individually unique but at the same time they flowed seemlessly together in a wonderful collection of stories. I found each author’s unique voice blended well with the others. If you like romance and the military, you will love this set.
Irresistible Heroes
By: Tamara Ferguson (Author), Natalie Ann (Author), Suzanne Jenkins (Author), Cynthia Cooke (Author), Alicia Street (Author), Alyssa Bailey (Author), Stephanie Queen (Author), Patrice Wilton (Author)
I loved reading the stories in the anthology Irresistible Heroes. They include some suspense and plenty of romance. I found myself pulled into each one and getting lost in the storylines and characters. I love anthologies as they are a chance for me to read stories from new authors. These stories included a couple of authors that I have read books by before. One of the stories that I enjoyed is Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson is an amazing story to read. I loved reading about the characters of Captain Samantha Coldwell and Captain Ben Nash. They both have served their country with honor. When it is found out that terrorists have the facility and Samantha in their sites, Ben takes on the role of her protector. There is an attraction between Ben and Samantha. There are sparks between them. Will those who threaten Samantha be caught? What does the future hold for Ben and Samantha? Read this story to find out. This story at times had me wondering what was going to happen next. It also has romantic scenes and dialogue. Another story I enjoyed was Johnny’s Girl by Cynthia Cooke. This story has the right amount of mystery and suspense that will keep you guessing until the end. There is action as well as romance. Don’t miss out on a group of stories that will have you reading far into the night. Highly recommended.
This is one of those fabulous anthologies that introduced me to some new authors and brought me new stories from favored authors. Each story is part of a series and can easily be read as stand-alones.
These are about different types of heroes. Some are obvious, others prefer to hang back.
A few of my favorites:
TWO UNLIKELY HEROES by Tamara Ferguson is a story about the small town of Crystal Rock which is home to a top rehab facility. Suspense, danger, romance and more. I always enjoy stories that come from Crystal Cove!!
SHE’S HAVING A BABY by Suzanne Jenkins is the first book I’ve read by this author and is also the first book of a new series. This book ~SIGH~ is short and to the point and filled with so many emotions that I won’t say anymore because I would give it all away.
This anthology has something for everyone. I absolutely recommend it.
Irresistible Heroes Anthology. First off let me start off by saying that I absolutely love Anthologies. It is like getting multiple books all wrapped into one amazing book. You also get to read authors that you might otherwise have never even considered looking into. One of my favorite authors, just happened to be in this particular anthology, lucky lucky me…… and also a few that I have never read before.
Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes ( Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 9) by Tamara Ferguson.
I love that one again we find ourselves in Crystal Rock, this time with just as much drama, suspense and romance from the previous books.
I truly enjoyed reading this anthology and now I have a couple of new authors to start reading…..
This box set was a great read. All of the stories were quite enjoyable. One of my favorites were Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson which was an all around great story to read. The characters were very likable. What were the odds of Samantha Coldwell and Ben Nash crossing paths again. The chemistry between them was off the charts. Once it is know that Sam Coldwell is a wanted woman, how will Nash react? Will he care? Will he want to save her? Great read! Looking forward to more from many of the authors in this set especially Tamara Ferguson.
Irresistible Heroes Anthology by Tamara Ferguson, Natalie Ann, Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Alyssa Bailey, Stephanie Queen, Patrice Wilton is an anthology of fabulous romance stories by these 8 authors. I found myself getting lost in the various heros and their women from firefighter to cops, military and doctors and each will leave a lasting impression and steal your heart.
One such story is Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson is one of these stories and it is another amazing story in the Wounded Warrior Romance series and her characters are written to be loved.
Samantha has served her country and is now coming to terms and peace with the injury she endured to the point she is ready for more but what she didn’t know was that a certain Captain Ben Nash would be part of that more.
Ben is undercover and waiting for the full details to come to light but in the process he finds the one person he has been looking for and will stop at nothing to her protector.
With 8 wonderful stories to be had grab a copy and get stuck in.
Irresistible Heroes – Heroes of Your Heart by Various Authors
5 stars
So many new to me authors in this collection! Of course the big one that drew me to this was Tamara Ferguson, I’ve read many of her books and didn’t want to miss out on the other great stories in this.
All books in this anthology have a common theme, heroes. What makes a hero, a hero? Read any of these stories and you’ll find out that not all heroes wear capes or camo and could be just an average person. I really loved these but the one that made me pick this up will be focused on here.
Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson
Samantha and Ben met overseas but it was a stressful moment that left both of them changed. When Ben is sent to a training facility with an odd task, he doesn’t expect to see Samantha there. These two were great and with the twists and turns this story took, it was more about them and what was happening, than a typical romance story where we’re seeing them set the sheets on fire every couple pages. I highly recommend this story.
And I will be reading all of these stories in the coming weeks when my tbr list allows it!
Irresistible Heroes is a collection of stories that will steal your heart! Tamara Ferguson, Natalie Ann, Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Alyssa Bailey, Stephanie Queen and Patrice Wilton came together to give us a present that makes the current hot summer nights scorching!
I have read everything Tamara Ferguson has ever written and almost all that Stephanie Queen has written so there was no doubt in my head whether to pick this collection up or not AND of course, neither of them let me down!
Tamara Ferguson’s Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes took me back to Crystal Rock, Wisconsin, with Captain Samantha Coldwell and Captain Ben Nash. It brings the terrorists to the wounded warriors’ center and I loved meeting up with familiar faces! I promise you that you will enjoy this unlikely heroes story!
Stephanie Queen’s Never Gone By is the opening to another of her fine series called The Zero to Hero and I cannot wait to see what comes next! There are so many heroes she could have chosen among and I am very pleased that she decided to open with Joe and let’s not forget about our Hollywood costume designer turned starlet Mae!
I used the opportunity to discover new writers and I can say that She’s Having a Baby by Suzanne Jenkins will leave you grabbing your tissues when she packs into the opening of her new series taking place in San Diego family, duty, action, love, loss, heartache and new beginnings! It was not only our leading couple but a whole family of heroes aka supporting cast!
This collection has something for everyone so I warmly recommend you to pick up and spend a cool weekend inside or a breezy day outside with it!

Irresistible Heroes is a superb Anthology of stories from some very talented, best-selling and award-winning authors. The stories are all so great- all quite individual to the author, but all are based on the same theme- which is “Irresistible Heroes”. We get to meet all kinds of heroes, and heroines- from cops, to fire fighters, Military personnel, Veterans, and Doctors- there’s a hero here that is bound to capture your attention, and a piece of your heart in the process.
This Anthology is made up of eight wonderful stories that are all really well written, interesting, engaging, and entirely enjoyable. The stories are:
Two Heart Unlikely Heroes By: Tamara Ferguson
This was definitely one of my favourites of the collection. I love Ms. Ferguson’s books and have read pretty much everything she has written. This is the ninth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series- but you don’t need to have read the rest of the series to enjoy this story- as it reads wonderfully well as a standalone. But having said that, you, like me will probably develop a bit of an addiction to her stories and get the desire to explore the rest of her books. Something I have discovered now I have read a lot of her books is the way Ms. Ferguson has cleverly built a bigger picture, a cast of believable and endearing characters, and a supportive community in which to base her stories (for the most part). Everything comes to life, and through each book you begin to see more interconnected details, characters, and situations.
This book is one of my favourites of her, bringing suspense, terrorists, danger and intrigue to Crystal Rock- as we follow Captain Samantha Caldwell and AFOSI Agent Captain Ben Nash on a bit of an adventure as the danger mounts and they try to piece everything together.
As always, Ms. Ferguson doesn’t disappoint!
Simply Love By: Natalie Ann
This is the third book in the Love Collection series by Natalie Ann. It is such a sweet, and emotive story that had me rooting for the characters right from the get go. Gemma and Blake have both endured quite a lot of emotional pain in their lives. So, will they finally find the new beginning and second chance they have both searching for? This book is really worth the read to find out!
She’s Having a Baby By: Suzanne Jenkins
Oh Ms. Jenkins you’ve done it again! Another great read- but I highly recommend having a box of tissues on hand, as this story will give your emotions a bit of a battering. This is the first book in Ms. Jenkins new series, The Saints of San Diego.
With friendship, family, duty, action, drama, love, loss, heartache, pain, joy, and new beginnings- this story may be short, but it packs quite a punch. We meet our main characters, but also a whole cast of wonderful secondary characters- a family of heroes who completely won me over. What a memorable way to start off a new series- and if this is any example, the rest of the series is set to be just as great! I can’t wait!
Johnny’s Girl By: Cynthia Cooke
This is the second book in the Deadly Secrets series by Cynthia Cooke. Full of intrigue, mystery, danger, suspense, action, drama, and more- this romantic suspense had me hooked right from the get-go.
This is my first read by Ms. Cooke and I really didn’t know what to expect going in, but now I am happy to say that I will definitely be exploring more of Ms. Cooke’s work in the future. This is one of the main reasons I love reading anthologies, because it’s a chance to discover new authors to add to your TBR, and therefore more books to explore!!! WIN-WIN!!
Well done!
Fire Me Up By: Alicia Street
We meet a hunky firefighter looking for a fresh start and a shy schoolteacher who shakes things up and brings a bit of a spark to his life. This was such a quick and easy read- a sweet story with a witty, captivating (second chance) romance…. which also has an emotional element to it too. Well worth the read!
Seal of Refuge By: Alyssa Bailey
Who doesn’t love a sexy Navy SEAL- so add a unlucky in love school teacher, a few surprises, a little bit of drama, and a wonderful romance- and this story really takes off. I didn’t expect to like this story as much as I did- they characters really won me over. A great story to start off Ms. Bailey’s Guardian’s of Refuge series. I for one, can’t wait for the next instalment!
Never Gone By: Stephanie Queen
This is the first book in the Zero to Hero Series by Stephanie Queen. Another 5 Star read in this exciting collection. I love Ms. Queen’s books and was really excited to see it was the start to a new series. Zero Go Team is made up of so many heroes, I can’t wait to follow all the character’s stories as they release.
As expected from Ms. Queen, this story is really well written, sexy, spicy, intriguing, and original. The characters pulled me into the story, and I became completely invested in them and their story- devouring every word! I loved meeting Joe and Mae- and I can’t wait for more.
Handle With Care By: Patrice Wilton
Handle With Care is the second book in the Wounded Warrior Series by Patrice Wilson. Shane Dawson was a medic serving in Iraq when he is captured and tortured. He may be home from the war, but he left a piece of himself behind, trading it for a whole lot of pain and some difficult personal demons.
Lauren Reynolds is a skilled ER doctor- a single mother with a young son who has ADHD. Things haven’t been easy since her husband died, but she and her son Josh make a pretty good team.
Meeting Shane sets them both on a path they never expected. Taking a chance on love doesn’t come easy, or without some risk. What happens you ask? Well you really should read all the emotional details for yourself…. it’s definitely worth your time.
A story of trauma, pain, addiction, struggles, emotion, friendship, trust, romance, spirit, redemption, and love.
As you can see, we meet a variety of charming heroes who will all inspire, captivate, and entertain you. They will entice you into the book and keep you there, avidly turning the pages to follow each as their story unfolds.
So, if you are looking for a book that is full of heroes, romance, and stories that you can connect with- then this is definitely the anthology for you…… And hello, eight books for the price of one…. WINNING!!!!
Thank you to all the contributing authors!
As usual the story of Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes was wrote really well. It’s about 2 wounded warriors who met in extreme circumstances in war but didn’t know each other. They meet again in Crystal Rock at the Wounded Warrior site. She works there and lost a leg and he lost part of an arm rescuing her in the war. But he’s there undercover for the Colonel about something he’s not aware of yet. Really loved this story and reading about how the military cope with their injuries.
Irresistible Heroes – Heroes of Your Heart by Various Authors
5-Stars
Irresistible Heroes – Heroes of Your Heart by Various Authors is an amazing collection of magnificent stories. This collection features so many wonderful characters and I loved the romance. Having read Tamara Ferguson before, her story really stuck out to me. Her character Sam was my favorite. She was very strong and brave despite her amputation. Ben seemed perfect for her.
I really enjoyed this collection and felt the storyline of each book was easy to follow and flowed easily from page one all the way to the end. Being an Anthology full of various romances, I feel that it could be enjoyed a wide audience.
So far I’ve only read a few of the stories in this group of books but my thinking is that it is well worth the price. It made for a good selection of different books to enjoy.
Never Gone by Stephanie Queen-
Mary Ann Monday or “Mae” as she is called is one interesting character. She was NOTHING like I’d been expecting but I quickly feel in love with how real she was. I liked how she “owned” who she was but wasn’t mean about it. She was also incredibly good at reading people. That is something that Joe was continually surprised by. I liked that she called him Average Joe in her head. But that was compared to the glitz falseness of Hollywood. She knew deep down that there was NOTHING average about him.
Joe didn’t know what to make of Mae at first, because he’d never met anyone like her before. It was interesting when he thought of her as a sex kitten but that she was just naturally sensual. It didn’t take long for him to realize that she had other good qualities as well. That made it all that much harder for him to distance himself since he wanted to be professional. Sleeping with his client was a big no-no. But don’t think he always succeeds because there will be steam as well as the danger that is mentioned.
It has a good ending that satisfied me.
AND-
The other book that I read is by an author that I don’t think I’ve read before. I thought this was a good way to read authors new to me.
Simply Love by Natalie Ann-
I liked the emotions that are played out for both of the main characters. They have their own dysfunctional family pain. But I liked how Gemma overcame something that you don’t always hear written about in a story. I liked that she was shy but was strong and getting stronger all the time. She was becoming more the person she wanted and needed to be.
Her family, what a nightmare they were. She should have booted them out and KEPT them out of her life. They were toxic!! Her Aunt Julie was the only one worth keeping. She was her biggest and only champion and always had been.
Blake was a really good guy and it didn’t take me long to adore how he treated Gemma. He appreciated her right where she was at. I was fun to watch them grow together. Because his family challenge for him was that he had a family that was never there for him either. His challenges were different but he craved normal and loving, faithful relationship with a woman who loved him.
There get to their H.E.A. as they work through their emotional baggage.
“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”
Irresistible Heroes
Anthology
I loved this collection of wonderful stories. There is a good variety in this anthology so you get to experience all different emotions. Each book brings something different, but they all bring romance. I was first interested in reading these stories because I found out that an awesome author, Tamara Ferguson, was one of the authors in this collection and I have loved everything that I have ever read from her and this story was no different, I was drawn in from the start and couldn’t stop reading till I got to the end. I found that I enjoyed reading every single story. I am so glad I decided to read these because I found some new authors I will definitely be taking a second look at. I recommend this anthology it is truly a gem and entertaining read.
Irresistible Heroes Anthology
5 stars
I was so excited to see the release of this anthology it contained stories from some of my favourite authors and also a couple of new to me ones also. All of the stories were 5 star reads for me, they were all fantastic to read and with wonderful characters who I instantly fell in love with. There is definitely something for everybody in this anthology!
One of my absolute favourites from this collection was Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson. I have read so many books by this author so I had to dive straight in to this one first and as usual she didn’t disappoint! I absolutely adore her writing and the characters she creates. There always such a great balance of romance, suspense and a little mystery! She is a fantastic author! I loved Samantha and Ben! I just adored them both together and separately.
Another story that I really enjoyed was Johnny’s Girl by Cynthia Cooke! Ms Cooke was a new to me author so I really enjoyed getting to know her writing style and the story captured my interest straight away!
This anthology really was a wonderful read and I highly recommend it to other readers!
The Irresistible Heroes Anthology is a collection of fantastic stories but a group of brilliant authors. What drew me to this series initially was the fact that Tamara Ferguson had a story in this collection. She is an author I have become very familiar with over the past couple of years and I always enjoy her work.
However what kept me interested was how well written each and every story was. They were all different from each other so there was no risk of becoming bored. And yet they all had the same great appeal in their characters.
This is definitely an anthology you should try and a great way to introduce yourself to some new authors.
There is something for everyone in this book. I found my favorites and a couple of new authors as well. Two of my favorite stories: Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes which is about Captain Samantha Caldwell. While she was in Iraq, she killed a terrorist leader but now that she is back home, she may be a target. She’s Having a Baby: This is about unexpected changes that happen during fire season. All have great characters that are strong and pull you into their stories. A must read anthology.
Non-stop romance and action!
This is a great collection of books from a variety of authors. There is something for everyone. Whether they are military, firefighters, or law enforcement – they are all heroes and you will find just the romance you are looking for in these stories.
The action will keep you on the edge of your seat and the sizzling romance will leave you breathless. Once I started, I just had to keep on reading!
As usual the story of Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes was wrote really well. It’s about 2 wounded warriors who met in extreme circumstances in war but didn’t know each other.
