“Sexy, heartfelt–did I mention sexy? With the perfect touch of the forbidden, Melanie Harlow has outdone herself with single dad Mack and Frannie’s story!”—Ilsa Madden-Mills, Wall Street Journal bestselling authorI’m a full-time single dad to three daughters and CFO at Cloverleigh Farms. I don’t have time to fall in love—I’m too busy trying to run a business, keep the red socks out of the white … the white laundry, and get the damn pillowcases on without owing a dollar to the swear jar.
Sure, Frannie Sawyer is beautiful and sweet, but she’s twenty-seven, the boss’s daughter, and my new part-time nanny—which means she’s completely off-limits. It’s bad enough I can’t stop fantasizing about her, what kind of jerk would I be if I acted on the impulse to kiss her?
(Exactly the kind of jerk you’re thinking.)
Actually, I’m worse than that—because I didn’t stop with a kiss, and now I can’t stay away. She makes me feel like myself again. She reminds me what it’s like to want something just for me. She’s everything I ever needed, but nothing I ever imagined.
I’m a former Marine. I should have had the strength to resist her from the start.
But I didn’t. And now I have to choose between the life I want and the life she deserves.
Even if it means giving her up.

I cannot tell you how much I loved this book. Melanie Harlow just gave us our next book obsession. Irresistible was so much more than I expected. It made me smile, laugh, cry, swoon, IT GAVE ME ALL THE FEELS!!!
Thee chemistry between Frannie and Mack was wow, this chemistry is off the charts!! This story was not only about finding love, it was about life, accepting help when it’s offered to you, and about second chances. Mack was someone who I loved from the very start, he doesn’t have it easy, all he cares about are his three little girls and making sure they have everything they need, so the last thing in his mind is falling in love. Frannie was the sweetest person, she has a big heart and just wants to be taken serious. I loved how much she cared for the girls, I loved how much the girls cared about Frannie.
This book will give you seriously all the feels guys, you will love it so much you will be rereading it as soon as you finish it. Melanie Harlow never disappoints.
The title of this book is an accurate description of the story…Irresistible! I loved this book from the first page. It is an easy and enjoyable read with not too much angst. While the love curve between Frannie and Mack is a little unrealistic, keep in mind that this is fiction.
The characters are delightful. Mack’s three daughters steal the story too. They are too cute at times.
Great story Melanie. Looking forward to the next one in the Cloverleigh series.

A charming and fun read, full of emotion and laugh out loud moments.
I loved Frannie and Mack together, especially those little girls. I have to say I loved that there wasn’t a lot of ex drama and misunderstandings. That made for quite a refreshing and enjoyable read! I just love the flow of Melanie’s writing, and the effortless way she tells a story. I look forward to Chloe’s book!!
Melanie Harlow always writes the most swoon worthy men. I fell in love with Mack and was only 12% in. He was so dreamy, a single Dad to 3 little girls and was doing an amazing job, plus was wonderful to Frannie. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was how Frannie kept saying she didn’t want to be treated like a baby, yet she came off in the beginning as a little babyish. I still couldn’t get enough of their story and I hope to hear from them again and how the girls are doing.
Gah….this book!!! Melanie Harlow’s books are always so beautiful. Her words are magic and I swear I was under her spell from the first page of Irresistible!
Mack is trying to navigate life raising three young daughters on his own. Between work and caring for his girls, Mack doesn’t have much time for himself. He works for Cloverleigh Farms owned by the Sawyer family which is where he met Frannie. She is the youngest of the Sawyer sisters. Her mom has always been overly protective of her due to some health issues when she was a baby. Oftentimes she feels suffocated, because she hasn’t been able to live her life on her terms. In my opinion, I think that is one of the reasons Frannie and Mack kind of gravitated towards one another. Their relationship gave me butterflies. As much as they tried to fight it, they were like magnets. One kiss and it was like they just gravitated towards one another.
Navigating a new relationship is hard, but the added pressure of having to put the kids above all makes it even trickier. I absolutely loved the bond Mack has with his daughters and also the bond Frannie had with them. She knew that the girls always come first to Mack and she respected that. Mack on the other hand struggled with this. He was so insecure, because of his previous failed marriage. All it took was a push from the right people to make him understand that he could balance being a single dad and having a relationship with an incredible girl.
One of the reasons, Irresistible was so good is that is true to real life. It was sexy, sweet and a little heartbreaking. The final chapter was everything! Well done, Melanie!
Mack and Frannie were freaking adorable!!!!! He’s ten years older than her AND a single dad of three beautiful girls. She helps him out babysitting AND is his boss’s daughter. This is a recipe for disaster but nope it was the complete opposite.
Frannie always had a crush on Mack and he thought she was beautiful but off limits. They spent lots of time together and his daughters genuinely loved her. Then one day things changed and it was just hot. But these two acted like teenagers sometimes but in a funny way. Mack was worried about everything from age difference, to his kids, to people finding out and a whole ton of other things. Not Frannie. She was all in from the beginning. Frannie was such a likeable heroine because everything that she went thru as a child. There were several funny moments and Mack’s daughters were downright hilarious. They really made this story even much better. Mack almost messed up a good thing by letting his insecurities get the best of him and his daughters weren’t having it and didn’t want to lose Frannie. This part was so damn cute and funny all wrapped in one.
This was a great way to start a series. Light with hints of emotional moments but lots of love. I think these Sawyer sisters are going to be unstoppable. Can’t wait for book 2!!
Raising children is never easy. For Mack – the reality of being a parent is magnified as he has the sole responsibility of raising his three daughters without their mother. Everything from ponytails, homework and feeding everyone is a part of the daily routine. One thing is certain – with the responsibilities of home and work – Mack has no time for a social life.
Working at her family’s business – Cloverleigh Farms – is both a blessing and a bit of turmoil. As the ‘baby’ of the family – Frannie has been handled with kid gloves for most of her life. The ability to expand her horizons and follow her dreams snuffed because of her parents over protective nature. While her family life isn’t always the support that Frannie is looking for, the family business is one that Frannie hasn’t shied away from.
For years – Frannie has found herself drawn to Mack and his girls. While Mack hasn’t let his attraction be known, he knows that Frannie is always there to give his girls the attention that their mother has failed to show. When Mack finds himself stranded with no sitter, Frannie volunteers to fill in and spend time with his children. Cooking, homework, and various school activities seems to be no challenge for Frannie. The attention that she exudes to Mack’s children hasn’t gone unnoticed.
While Mack has tried to keep his distance from Frannie due to their age difference and the fact that he is employed by her family, the attraction just doesn’t seem to be one that Mack can ignore. The more time that Frannie spends with Mack’s children only manages to strengthen his desire for her. Deciding to fight it no longer, Mack finally succumbs to the attraction that is obviously reciprocated from Frannie. Now that their mutual attration is out in the open, the two find themselves struggling with the reality of Mack having a family and Frannie’s place in their lives. Will Mack let the best thing that happened to him walk out the door without fighting for love?
Irrisistible is the first book in the Cloverleigh Farms series by Melanie Harlow. The story is centered around Mack, a former military man that found himself living the life of a single dad. An unexpected life, but one this former soldier wouldn’t trade for the world. Frannie is the lucky lady that has captured Mack’s attention. Frannie is full of love and the need to have her life feel complete. Together – the two capture the hearts of readers with their attraction and family lives.
Complications plague most couples, and the reality that exudes from the pages of Irrisistible is addictive and very well written. Harlow has really opened up this series with a couple that is definitely setting the standards high for the rest of the series. What surprised me the most is how addictive the story between Mack and Frannie came across. Both left me with a smile on my face and love in my heart for two individuals that really needed someone in their lives to make their heart feel complete. Make sure you pick up this book and dive into the beginning of a series that is sure to be as addictive as the treats Frannie makes in her kitchen!!
I absolutely loved Frannie and Mack’s story. Mack is a swoon-worthy single father to three amazing girls. Frannie is an amazing young woman who knows what she wants and finally isn’t afraid to go after it. I could not stop reading this story, it kept me hooked from the very first page. I’d highly recommend anything by Melanie Harlow. Happy reading 🙂
Irresistible is a sweet and sexy single dad romance. I loved the dynamic between Mack and his girls, Mack and Frannie and Frannie and Mack’s girls, I think the author did a great job of portraying the life of a single dad, what his hang-ups would be and how romance would affect all the things he has going on. I enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

4.5 Stars!
Mack is a former marine living in northern Michigan. He’s a divorced full-time single dad to three daughters. His life is laundry, lunches, schedules, and trying to stay afloat without adding any more money to the swear jar. He’s doing his best, but most days things are complete chaos, and he feels like he’s hanging by a thread. The one place he feels somewhat in control is his job. As the CFO at Cloverleigh Farms he works hard to keep things running smoothly.
Frannie Sawyer is the youngest of five sisters. Her family owns Cloverleigh Farms and she works as their receptionist. The highlight of her day is seeing Mack, the delicious single father who has worked for her family for the last five years. She’s had a hopeless crush on him forever. After his wife left she became a part-time nanny to his kids. She admired his devotion to his girls, and thought it made him even more desirable. He was unbelievably hot, and she couldn’t help how much she wanted him.
Mack has spent the last nine months trying to survive being a parent on his own, and Frannie is always quick to help out. She’s sweet, genuine, and gorgeous. She had an innocence about her, and had become his go-to fantasy. Lusting after the babysitter was his little secret. As the boss’s daughter and his nanny, she was off-limits, but a guy could dream. He knew he could never act on his attraction, but then one kiss changes everything, and he can’t stay away.
It’s an impossible, complicated situation. Mack’s girls were his first priority. He was already stretched thin, without room for anything else. He was in no position to pursue anyone, and felt he had nothing to offer. He couldn’t give his time, attention, or a future, and it wasn’t fair to her, but he hadn’t felt this way in a long time. She made him remember he’s not just a dad, but also a man. She makes him feel like himself again, and he has trouble fighting their connection. He tried so hard to resist, but soon he’s attached, and this thing between them is all-consuming.
Irresistible (Cloverleigh #1) is a beautiful, sexy, single dad, second chance, forbidden romance where two lonely people find love. I really loved this book, and can’t wait for more in this series!
This book is several tropes in one! We have an office romance plus a single dad/ nanny romance in one! This is a spin off from Only Love but can be read alone. After reading Ryan’s story in Only Love, I couldn’t wait to get his Marine buddy, Mack’s story! Mack’s raising 3 daughters on his own and knows he shouldn’t involved with his boss’s daughter/ kid’s PT nanny. Plus not to mention thy have a 10 year age difference. Mack and Frannie have both been secretly crushing on each other and one night they get snowed in together and one thing leads to another. One time’s all it can happen, but can Mack really stop at just one taste? I loved How Frannie was with Mack’s girls! She was so good with them. And I loved how the girls were always on Mack about putting money in the swear jar! This book was so dreamy and oh so funny at the same time!! I absolutely loved it! I can’t wait to read about more Sawyer sisters in the next books to come!
Oh Mack and Frannie! This story had everything I want when I pick up a Melanie Harlow book..
Mack trying to balance work while single parenting 3 of cutest little girls just wants a moment to himself. His daily struggles are something any parent can relate to!
Now Frannie was such a beautiful soul. Secretly pinning for hot daddy Mack that she just happens to nanny for, little does she know Mack has a secret too!
The journey these two went on had all the emotions and angst I love! Plus, the hot sexy times!!
Irresistible by Melanie Harlow, is quite frankly, irresistible. Yes, I know that sounds all kinds of cliche, but it’s the truth! I adored this book, simply adored it. I fell in love with Mack and Frannie, and Mack’s daughters right from the get-go. This book gave me all the warm fuzzies.
Mack is such a wonderful dad, everything he does is done with his girls in mind. Being a single father isn’t the easiest, especially without any close family nearby to help out. Thank goodness he has Frannie to rely on- although lately he’s begun thinking of her more than just his nanny or the boss’s daughter. And Frannie is more than happy with his change of heart!
There are so many really wonderful moments in this book, between Frannie and Mack and Mack and his daughters, that gave this story so much feeling. It’s such a sweet, and sexy, story, with a bit of angst, a little frustration, and a whole lot of joy. Everything I’ve come to expect and love from Ms. Harlow.
Make no mistake about it, Melanie Harlow knows how to write a romance that will pull at your heartstrings and leave a smile on your face
The journey of Mack and Frannie was the perfect amount of sweet, sexy and heartwarming. Mack is a former Marine taking care of his three, young beautiful girls all on his own. That aspect of him was enduring, yet so hot and sexy. His love for them bounced off the pages and I really loved the girls as a vital part of this story!
Frannie was so selfless and sweet. Her parents babied her, so I really enjoyed watching her come out of her shell to make her dreams come true. Mack was part of that dream and the way she put her heart on the line was perfection.
The two of them together made sense, even though Mack tried to convince himself otherwise. Frannie knew what she wanted and loved everything about Mack and the girls. Their love story was swoony, honest and irresistible
So we met Mack in Only Love and you could tell that he needed his own story. I am so glad he got one, he is a single dad of three little girls (they truly made the story what it is) who has a thing for Frannie. His boss’s daughter, his sometimes nanny, the girl who is 10 years younger than him. While they both have feelings for each other they both want different things out of life. Mack is living his life for his girls while Frannie is just starting hers. This book was great! I laughed a lot but then other parts pulled my feelings to the surface. Great characters, great story and not a huge amount of drama.
Irresistible, a Cloverleigh Farms book by Melanie Harlow is the first book in the series and can be read as a stand-a-lone, although we met Mack in her most recent book, Only Love. Irresistible tells the story of Mack, a single dad with 3 young girls and Frannie, his co-worker and nanny.
Mack’s kids are adorable and he struggles to do everything right after his wife left him 9 months ago. Frannie has had a crush on Mack for a long time. She has a medical condition and is tired of being smothered by her worrying parents. At 27 years old she finally begins to assert herself and consider starting a business. Mack supports her in her quest, but he is overtaxed and struggling while caring for the girls and giving time to Frannie, as the relationship grows.
This was a wonderful story and I loved that Mack isn’t perfect and makes mistakes on a daily basis, but owns up to them. They were a relatable couple trying to make it work when life gets in the way.
Melanie Harlow’s stories have you engaged from page one. I absolutely loved this HEA story and cannot wait for book two in the series; Chloe and Oliver in Undeniable.
IRRESISTIBLE by Melanie Harlow is book One in the Cloverleigh Farms Series. This is the story of Frannie and Mack. Frannie is the youngest in her family so she is the baby of the family but in addition she had a early health issue that left her family very protective of her. They kept her close to home and always seem to watch over her. Now Frannie is 27 years old and works part time at her father’s business which is Cloverleigh Farms. Frannie has also taken on the job of being Mack’s nanny to his three daughters eleven year old Millie, eight year old Felicity, and four year old Winifred. Mack is the CFO at Cloverleigh Farms. Mack is a around 37 and is a divorce man who is trying to do everything he can for his daughters, but doesn’t really have the time for real relationships. But sparks are flying between Frannie and Mack that are just getting hotter until they can’t ignore them anymore. So loved this touching romance… page turner for me.
I loved Melanie Harlow’s new book in her Cloverleigh Farms Series. Mack and Frannie are two of the most amazing people. Mack has so much going on in his life working full time and being the sole parent of his 3 daughters since his wife left and they divorced. He tries so hard to make them feel loved and important and of course the struggle is real and at times lol humorous. Frannie is the bosses daughter who has had a crush on Mack for a very long time. Frannie has overcome her own challenges but has yet to feel the flight of independence. Frannie & Mack both work at Cloverleigh and Frannie also helps Mack part time as a nanny with the girls. As Mack tries and fails at stopping the intense attraction between he and Frannie, the two have to decide how to navigate being together! There is some much to love about this story, the unconditional respect and support Frannie & Mack have for each other, the chemistry is so hot, Frannie’s relationship with her sister’s Chloe & April, Ryan making it real for Mack, and the banter with the kids is priceless. So excited for Chloe’s story next!!!
5 Mack Stars!!
I completely fell head over hills over Mack. From page one, I related in all things. I have never had a moment where I was able to connect with the hero of a story like I did with Mack. That made him extra dreamy in my book.
Our heroine, Frannie, she had me rooting for her through and through. There was a moment where I felt she lost herself and her real dreams. She was always putting Mack first until her sister finally made her see the big picture!
One of the many reasons I read Melanie Harlow books is because you will always feel the emotion through her words. A lot of steamy scenes, but they are passionate. Irresistible made me smile, laugh, snort, and love all the characters. This book was a great start for a new series and I cannot wait to visit Cloverleigh Farms again!
Irresistible is the first stand alone book in the Cloverleigh Farms Series.
Mack is thirty seven year old ex-Marine, CFO of Cloverleigh Farms, and full-time single father to three adorable girls. Even though he feels like he is falling at being a dad most days, his girls are his main priority and he tries to be the best dad he can be to them.
Frannie is twenty seven years old and the bosses daughter, part-time Nanny to Mack’s three girls, and bakes delicious Macaroons. She has been crushing on Mack and absolutely adores his three little girls. Even though she is ten years young than Mack she want him to see that she not the kid with heart problems that everyone still treats her like. She just want to love him and his girls.
I absolutely adored Mack and Frannie in Irresistible. Words can’t describe how much I love Melanie Harlow’s books they are all well write and classy. You won’t be disappointed.
