After eight long years, attorney Sasha McCandless is about to make partner at a prestigious law firm. All she has to do is keep her head down and her billable hours up. When a plane operated by her client slams into the side of a mountain, killing everyone aboard, Sasha gears up to defend the inevitable civil lawsuits. She soon realizes the crash was no accident: a developer has created an … an application that can control a commercial plane’s onboard computer from a smartphone.
Sasha joins forces with a federal air marshal, and they race to prevent another airline disaster. But when people close to the matter start turning up dead, Sasha must rely on both her legal skills and her Krav Maga training to stop the madman before he kills her.

This is actually a decently written story, but the overall plot is just plain goofy and not particularly compelling. Some of the violence is cartoonish, and people who’ve just been attacked by thugs are blissfully unaware of the need to take precautions next time out.
An engaging heroine and a good read. A bit more violence than i prefer but at least most of the violence is Sasha’s own Krav Maga.
Excellent courtroom drama keeps you on your toes until the very end.
Great characters snd the story really moves along. Great plot. This is a fun read
Sasha McCandless is an attorney and does investigating on the case she is working on. I learned a about the legal system. It’s complicated at times

A great mystery! I loved the way it ended.
I love this protagonist! A little spitfire that can take as well as give. This is a very tight plot with twists to satisfy the reader. I look forward to more from this author.
Great read
Good read!
Lots of action, interesting and decent characters, a case you can get behind! Despicable baddies. What more could you want?!
Second book in this series. Very good and holds interest.
I recently had the opportunity to read Irreparable Harm (Sasha McCandless Legal Thriller Book 1) by Melissa F. Miller. What a fantastic story! From the offset I became immersed in my reading, following Sasha as she works in a Pittsburgh law firm. Working on a case for one of the firm’s largest clients, things go awry. Not only is the client …
This was the first book by Melissa Miller that I read and it hooked me on her as a good author. The plot has to do with being able to control airplanes by cell phones. It has Sasha McCandless as the main character, the first of eleven in that series. Very realistic for a fictional novel. As a result, I have read all of Ms Miller’s books and highly …
an excellent first in the series
This is a must read … absolutely.
Melissa Miller has extended a good plot into a great conclusion … a twisted a sub-plot where sometimes a winning effort can turn into a loser into using her main character’s skills at winning court fights into an intentional loss so the character’s overall effort will be a winner.

From the first page to THE END, I was on the edge of my chair, biting my nails. I hurt for being hit so many times, stressed from too much work, Melissa F. Miller pulled me into her book like so very few authors do. I don’t know what to do with all this knowledge I have about the law or aircraft now. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story.
I have to say that Ms. Melissa Miller rivals any Grisham book I have read, and I have read them all. She is able to spin a thriller all wrapped up around the law without losing the reader in the legal jargon and machinations. Superbly written. Very enjoyable to read. If 10 stars were available, I would give Ms. Miller’s book a thumbs up 10.
