After eight long years, attorney Sasha McCandless is about to make partner at a prestigious law firm. All she has to do is keep her head down and her billable hours up. When a plane operated by her client slams into the side of a mountain, killing everyone aboard, Sasha gears up to defend the inevitable civil lawsuits. She soon realizes the crash was no accident: a developer has created an … an application that can control a commercial plane’s onboard computer from a smartphone.
Sasha joins forces with a federal air marshal, and they race to prevent another airline disaster. But when people close to the matter start turning up dead, Sasha must rely on both her legal skills and her Krav Maga training to stop the madman before he kills her.

This book was very good and kept me turning the pages, until the end.
I received this book free and decided to try reading this series. I really enjoy reading books from series because they don’t end with just one book. It is an interesting book and really kept my interest thru the whole book. I plan to read the next in the series. I would recommend this book and hope the next in the series is as well written as …
This story, these characters, had me from the absolute beginning. The writing style flows beautifully as does the plot, and what a plot! I haven’t read a story this finely tuned in some time and am thrilled to find this series. The female protagonist is a breath of fresh air and a literal kickass!
Wonderful story with some unexpected twists. Looking forward to reading Critical Vulnerability next
Sasha is my kind of heroine- a normal person doing extraordinary things, realistically and excitingly. The series is terrific
I started reading this series and simply couldn’t stop. How nice to find an intelligent attorney who puzzles out answers and defends herself, even when physically attacked. Each book has an entirely different premise and I have learned something from every single one.
“Irreparable Harm” starts with unexpected action and just steamrolls downhill. The characters are focused, serious, and believable. The book tells an interesting and different story with plenty of jammed-packed action leaving the reader breathless and unable to table the book for any length of time.
I loved the characters in this story…even the bad guys.
Good first book in a series to introduce everyone to all the characters. Decent story though a bit far-fetched. Weak ending to the crime portion of the story. Okay last chapter though a bit predictable.
At first, the descriptions of planes and then board meetings in a high-powered attorney group turned me off. Thankfully, I kept reading and was soon caught up in the story. I read at night and didn’t get much sleep because I found it difficult to put the book down! It gave me new insights in how it must be like working for a huge law firm and not …
This book kept my attention from page 1 till the end! Would recommend it highly!
Fast read, well written. Enjoyable to read
Right up there with the big boys but left one case unfinished.
Try this and you will greatly enjoy the book.
Great female lead; loved that it was based in Pittsburgh, something new.
Lost track of who is who. Keep a list of characters especially those who enter in toward the last third of book.
Not too sure about mixing so much legal terminology in and seems a bit overdone.
Exciting, great heroine, interesting plot. Was a real page-turner!
This book what I call an “M& M” book—great snacking. Miller has three inter-related series and I have enjoyed all of them….
Absolutely brilliant!!! I could not put this book down. It would make a fantastic movie.
Loved this and plan to look for other books by Melissa Miller. Sasha, the main character, practices KRAV MAGA which makes her a feminine hero in my eyes as she wipes out the bad guys and saves the day. The book is a legal thriller and full of exciting events.
