A trip to Ireland to locate a romantic wedding venue for a bride sounds like the ideal getaway for a wedding planner and her team . . . until they stumble upon a body in a castle. Annabelle Archer is no stranger to drama, and when a client asks her to hunt down the most dramatic Irish backdrop for her wedding, she and her team jump at the chance. But everything isn’t rainbows and shamrocks. The … and shamrocks. The team thought they had their hands full navigating narrow roads, dealing with boisterous American tourists, and avoiding enthusiastic honeymooners, but when a fellow tourist is found murdered in the walled garden of a castle, Annabelle and her crew discover that the Emerald Isle may be hiding some dark secrets. When more calamity strikes their group and it looks like her assistant is being set up to take the fall, Annabelle must find the killer before her luck of the Irish runs out.

I love this series as it never fails to keep me laughing, guessing and turning pages. I love the characters in this series and I enjoy the plot – I was guessing until the end. This is a fun page-turner.

As always, the only disappointing thing about this book was when it came to an end. While these books can be somewhat predictable the whodunit and the why are always fun to figure out. Love the twists and humor. Laura Durham will continue to be on my favorites list for a long time!

Annabelle, Kate, Richard and Fern are in Ireland scouting out locations for a destination wedding. Fern shares their travel plans with a group of widows on a genealogy tour and a honeymooning couple. When they all show up at the same castle/resort locations everything goes fine until the Wedding Belles find the body of one of the widows in the ornamental pond. Add the Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers and the gangs all here. When someone tries to pin the murder in Kate, it’s up to Annabelle to try to clear her and uncover the real killer.
Another well written, humorous story that makes you wish you were on the trip with the Wedding Belles.

I loved this book. I have enjoyed reading all of the books in this series. I love the humor and characters that the author gives us. They are in Ireland on a hunt for a couple that wants their wedding to be over there. They just have to finish getting that info when they are caught up in solving a murder. The police think that Annabelle’s assistant is the number one suspect. Annabelle’s cop comes over to help the gang get out of trouble so they can go home. Read these books as you will fall in love with the characters and the humor that follows them around.
These books keep getting better and better! This newest addition to the Annabelle Archer series is one of my favorites! The crew is in Ireland, and Laura Durham’s descriptive text makes you feel as if you’re there with them, driving stick-shift down a narrow Irish road. This book combines humor, mystery, fun, and romance, plus Richard gets caught with a blue velour hoodie!
Irish Aisles are Smiling is another great Annabelle Wedding Planner Mystery. Planning a destination wedding takes Annabelle to Ireland. In addition to the lovely descriptions of old castles and gardens, a murder victim is discovered. True to form, Annabelle and her gang cannot keep from getting involved in a little detective work. The author cleverly dances through the suspects. There is plenty of humor and laugh out loud moments with returning characters helping along the way. It was a delightful read.

Following the gang to Ireland to scout destination wedding locations in #13 of the series was so fun. Of course when a murder takes place, the gang (or at least Annabelle) can’t keep out of it and shenanigans ensue. I loved the book and the pages kept turning. For the first time there is no actual wedding but I loved changing it up a little and I LOVE Annabelle and Reese.

You would think that a pesky little thing like murder could be left behind when Annabelle and her “motley crew” fly to Ireland to scope out wedding venues for a bride who is not afraid to spend her dad’s money. NOT!
Almost before they can catch their breaths and overcome jet lag, Annabelle, Kate, Richard and Fern sink to their armpits in a new murder mystery. Richard keeps insisting they stick to business, Fern runs around in attire to match the moment, Kate is under suspicion, Annabelle spends a fortune in trans-Atlantic phone calls, and Buster and Mack arrive a day later to envision flower arrangements for each site.
I greatly enjoyed this book. The characters are still wacky, and the plot is definitely worth the title of mystery. And – there is a surprise ending.
Wedding Belles, the wedding planning agency, is taking the show on the road to Ireland! This book had just the right amount of humor without being over the top. I visited Ireland some time ago, so I particularly enjoyed the descriptions of driving on the other side of the road. The author describes the settings well, enough that you can visualize the interesting places that the characters are at but not so much that you feel dragged it down by too much description. I quite enjoyed this book because the writer had the right balance of suspense, quirky characters, and humor.
When Annabelle and her entourage agreed to take a job in Ireland they didn’t expect it would include a dead body. With witty comebacks, and sifting though clues, they do their best to avoid more trouble. I enjoyed reading this novel and will read more of this author’s works.

Great to be abroad with old friends. And, spoiler alert! Yes, it’s about time! Go Annabelle and Reese!
Laura Durham is new to me, and I am glad to have found her books. I am WAY late to the game (started off on book 12 in her series and now 13) but these books can be read as a stand alone. I enjoyed these books so much, I will most likely go back and read the other 11 that I have not read yet. (just haven’t had time yet)
Annabelle and the whole ragtag bunch are at it again. This book had the right amount of humor, mystery, and subtle romance. I laughed, i was intrigued, and engrossed in the story from page 1. Loved the kookiness of all Annabelle’s friends. They made this story such an enjoyable read. The over the top humor and characters personalities made it hard to put the book down.
Written as a first person, single pov and has a HFN ending. Strong and entertaining story line. Great descriptions to details making it feel as if I was a part of the story, awesome and funny as hell dialogue, and such awesome characters that I wish I had friends like these. There would never be a dull moment that is for sure.
Would I recommend this book? Absolutely!
Would I read more from this author? Yes

DESTINATION WEDDING vs. DESTINATION DEATH!
The Wedding Belles (high-end Bridal Consultants) from DC along with their favorite Consultants (Caterer, Hair Stylist & Florists) are traveling to Ireland to tour Castles. All this hoopla is for a Senator’s daughter’s Destination Wedding. You would think that things would go smoothly since the team is not actually in charge of a Wedding this time. But – it seems that death seems to follow them around like tea stains on white linen! A chance meeting of a group of American Senior Citizen Tourists offering a ride in their bus ends up providing a great deal more excitement than they expected! You just never know what to expect when you get these great characters together! Great Mystery! So Much Humor! I was provided an ARC of this book by the author. The opinions expressed here are completely my own and without influence.
I really enjoyed this book. In this book the wedding planners adventure into Ireland. There is mystery, adventure, mayhem and hilarious antics as they explore castles and tourists places in Ireland. I love the characters and their many interactions as they fall into a murder investigation. The book is well written and fun. There are many surprises and twists and turns as they solve the murder. Such a great read!
Just when I thought this author couldn’t top Annabelle’s last wedding/adventure, she comes up with a destination wedding planning trip in Ireland – brilliant! The author has a lush, descriptive writing style that made me feel like I was right there on location checking out wedding venues, visiting pubs, traveling through the countryside. Of course, the gang gets involved in a murder/mystery that they just can’t help but investigate. The author incorporated all of the characters I have come to know and love into the story – pretentious Richard, Fern and his outrageous outfits and Kate with her malpropisms that always makes me laugh. Even those not on location in Ireland made an appearance in one way or another to enhance the story. I always learn something new from these stories too – goat yoga??? Yeah, I just had to Google that one! And, as always, I just adore the clever title and cute cover art! A sweet little surprise in this one too!
Once again this zany group finds themselves in a murder mystery and I loved it.
Annabelle, Kate, Richard and Fern have flown to Ireland to scope out potential wedding venues for a destination wedding they are planning. What happens after they arrive is mayhem, adventure, murder and a whole bus load of new friends.
This is a fun, funny and entertaining cozy mystery set in the beautiful country of Ireland. The characters are amazing – full of life, lots of personality and each quirky in their own way. As usual Laura Durham weaves a hilarious tale, with unexpected plot twists, creative situations, and witty dialogue, that keeps you guessing who-done-it until the dramatic climax and the surprise ending. The beautiful and wonderfully described historical places in Ireland add authenticity and charm to this story. As with the other books in this series, a bit of romance is included. I love the series but you can read this book as a stand-alone but be prepared to fall in love with the characters and want to read the rest.
