Igor had me cracking up with her wit. Iris is an amazing big woman, with a heart of gold. Her men are priceless. You can’t help but fall for all of them. Good read! Not action packed, but sweet and fulfilling! Love the segway into the next book! Love this series!
This book is a great quick read with a very witty FMC, and I loved every second of it. Iris and her guys are awesome, as is her talking plant! Lol! I loved all of the characters, as well as the storyline. This is an amazing addition to the Silver Springs Library Series and definitely worth reading.
Wow what a read. Iris owns floriography flower shop and along with her venus flytrap Igor, iris sells flowers for all occasions and variety of reasons. When iris is given a copy of love blooms it leads her to her 3 awesome and gorgeous mates. Prepare for the ride of your life with this romantic and steamy read.
This is a new to me author, and since I’ve read all the Silver Spring books in the series so far, it was a natural step for me to pick this book up as well. I’m really glad that I’ve stuck with the series and had the chance to read this book as well. I’ve enjoyed reading about Iris and her antics with Igor (who I thought was a funny and clever character). It was a little sad to hear how Iris talked about herself and her size, but hopefully her new mates will convince her how beautiful she is.
This is a fast, insta-love type book with some hot elements.
I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series..I’m loving how all these authors are creating such a vast and diverse Universe in Silver Springs.
Iris is a plant witch, which I liked learning about and how her powers worked. The only complaint that I had was that she kept making fat jokes and fat shaming herself in general. Other than that, she had a good heart, a lot of passion for plants, and an obsession with fuzzy slippers. Igor, a venus flytrap, was by far my favorite character! I loved that she had no filter, had her own powers, and was utterly loyal to Iris. She was very unique and a prankster- I would love for her to get her own book to discover her plan for world domination.
Noah, a fairy with hamburger buns, was sweet and reminded me of the boy next door type. Dorian, a vampire, has a different background and way of feeding than most vampires that I found intriguing. I loved the inclusion of MM with Noah and Dorian. Keiron, a quokka shifter, was my favorite of her guys. I absolutely think quokkas are adorable and he has a dominant and protective personality.
I was happy to see some old and new faces of Silver Springs residents and some more of Scarborough. The Silver Springs Hop Dance seemed like an amazing and magical event and it’s just another reason why I wish this town (and magic) were real. This book had humor, steamy scenes, candied flies, and a little mystery- I loved getting a POV from Igor near the end!
*I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review
Omg i want an Igor (venus fly trap) for myself she had me literally dying laughing at all her antics. She was an absolute riot & so bad*** too. Her and Lawrence (the naked man orchid)? Just brilliant. Back to the curvy florist – Iris (FMC) who is completely oblivious to when guys are interested in her especially Noah (Fae), Dorian (Vampire) and Kieron (Quokka Shifter). Blimey are these men hotter than hot!! Im just loving all the books ive read so far in the Silver Springs series and this one is just as good as those. I enjoyed reading it so much
I loved this story. This series is awesome. I am loving this author and can’t what to see what’s next. Highly recommended and entertaining.
OH my goodness this book is legit amazing. Iris owns a flower shop in Silver Springs and she has a form of earth magic with her main focus on plants. You will meet Igor and oh my goodness, I love her and want one of my own. Talking plants that everyone can hear. As soon as I read about Igor, my mind totally went to The Little Shop of Horror except we get the good version. I also want to advise that this book is NSFW! You will be laughing out loud and you will be blushing as well. So Iris is asked to supply flowers for a venue coming up. So she finds the book that Sage left behind and touches it and guess where that leads her too. Noah, Dorian, and Keiron are hot and she does not think that they would actually be into her. I have to say that I fell in love with Iris due to the fact that I totally understood where she was coming from. So will she be the one to push them away? Will something happen to destroy her business as well. All I can say is that you need to read this book. It is funny and you will love it.
Iris is a super fun quirky business owner that also happens to be curvy! I really love reading stories with curvy women because even us big girls deserve love! Igor is a wonderful side character that I really hopes gets their own book!
I loved Iris, she is a sweetheart, but says exactly what she wants with some great one liners.
Igor is the star though, she had all the best lines! I love that’s she is getting a HEA too.
Iris’ mates are all hot and lovable.
Lots of sexy moments but with a great story too that will keep you reading.
Loved this very sweet & sassy RH love storey with a curvey female leading lady who cant initially see why the guys are interested in her because of her size. I loved that fact that these buff guys loved a bit padding to cuddle, The characters were well played ( OMG love the possom shifter) and a really good storey that keeps your attention. Plus one amazing stand out character by way of Igor who i need in my life, Laugh out loud moments along with times where you can really feel empathy for Iris.
Lots of meanders rather than twists and turns but very well written with enough depth to draw you in.
A great read, really had me laughing at the antics of the witch and her mates. The talking Venus Fly trap plant named Igor is a great addition to the story.
This is definitely a must read.
I received this ARC and wanted to give an honest review.
This was a great story. There was so much packed in there for such a short story. I also loved that Iris is a big girl. We just don’t see enough of them in romance books. I really enjoyed that while this is a RH there is also a bit of a mystery to it. Great book!
What am I gonna do when all the books in this series are released? What am I gonna read? How am I gonna enjoy myself? Where am I gonna find other lighthearted, funny reads, making me smile on even the hardest and ugliest days? I know, we still have 4 more books to go and some sequels (the sequel to Lupine has been officially announced even!), but still. This is book 9 already and not one of these books disappointed!
I think it’s very hard not to fall a little bit in love with Iris and her guys. Even though Iris has magic and is technically a witch, she’s so lovely human. She’s not good at every kind of magic, she’s not all powerful. She’s insecure, she has doubts and she is careful when it comes to what she believes and dares to long for. It was so easy to connect with her and to root for her! Even though this was insta-destined-mates-love all over the place, which isn’t my favorite kind of love.
However, Black does a few amazing things with the mating spell and its consequences. Not only does Iris doubt if the love the guys feel for her is real and does she want to make sure that it is before she truly starts enjoying it, but the spell also has its effect on her magic. I think this is the first time the magic is actively interfering with the magic a character possesses. And although it was easy to figure out how Iris was gonna solve this problem, it was still very entertaining to read.
And on top of the bonding between the characters to solidify the bond, there also was a little side plot that had a very very nice conclusion. Starring a plant. A talking plant. A talking flesh eating plant. You know, the one from the little shop of horrors? Although this plant is very friendly. Mostly. She only doesn’t have a filter and makes sure to brighten up all the awkward moments with her funny and witty commentary. I would love to read a book entirely from her point of view. I’m sure it would be endlessly entertaining!
Well, I’m afraid the countdown will continue. I can’t wait to read Buttercup! She seemed incredibly sweet in this book and I’m excited to get to know her better!
This book was amazing! I absolutely love Iris and her mates. I do think my favorite character has to be Igor though and I cant wait to see what her and Lawrence get up to in the next book (hoping there’s a next book) I definitely recommend this book and this whole silver springs series they are all so different and amazing.
Another amazing book in this wonderful series. I love reading about plus size females getting the love they deserve. Loved the characters and the writing and igore is my favorite plant ever!!! Would love a bonus scene with lawerence and igore. Enjoyed!
Iris and Igor are a riot! I love the snarky commentary from Igor and Iris is just the right amount of normal. The story has a great flow, a couple little mysteries to solve and lot of interactions between the mates. I liked how her mates were all different species but all embraced each other immediately as family.
Iris is really sweet. I love that her men work so hard to show her that they love her despite the spell. Igor is hilarious and I’m so glad she gets a companion too.
Iris brings sunshine to all through her flower shop, even with her sidekick plant Igor slinging sarcasm. She hopes to find someone special to spend some sexy times with, but is shocked-and really can’t believe it-when more than one gorgeous mate shows up to woo her.
Iris is book #9 in the Silver Springs Library series.
Great original ideas. Perfectly written and fully developed characters. Amazing world building and perfectly accompanied by a great story line. Well done!
