Steve, the self-proclaimed Invisible Warrior, has not had a typical life. Trained by the VC Warriors, he still has to prove his worth, but with humor and sheer will, he refuses to give up.In one afternoon, his life changes, as do the lives of three others. Steve Richardson has a serious choice to make between two women and someone who holds his heart like no other.
Steve is the clown of the group, the one who smooths ruffled feathers and bruised egos. But after he meets Mira it’s him that needs to calm down. Mira, her sister and her newborn daughter are the last witches in her Covina. With a psycho wizard trying to kill the girls, it will take the Warriors to keep them safe.
This series is awesome! Each book builds on another. The characters are well-developed. The warriors are big, loving, bad to the bone, protective, devoted, funny and the list goes on. Steve is such a goof but his true colors come through in this book and he turns out to be one of the best. If you haven’t read this series, you should start at the beginning with Damen, you don’t want to miss anything from this series.
Love these Warriors! Love this series! Steve is just the sweetest as I always knew he would be! His tenderness towards Drew Boo made my heart melt. Loved the storyline and the banter between the Warriors and their mates! I love the excitement and danger that is always part of this incredible world and of course the sweet and funny moments as well. Just always such an enjoyable time reading this series and Steve’s story was no exception.
From the beginning he takes it in stride with an open heart and an open mind. His protective instincts kick in and he realizes something is different with her that she is special.
Steve has always been the doofus of the bunch. Everybody’s little brother, always the goofball and a bit of a ditz. But first and foremost he always had a great attitude and was the comedian of the group. People from this read this and didn’t take him serious but now after meeting Mira everyone is looking at him differently.
You will laugh because Steve is Steve and you can’t help but laugh at his antics. Ronan is on scene now so it’ll be interesting to see what happens with his story – him being the sexy cowboy that is, I can’t wait.
Absolutely love the story. You will laugh and you will cry. But more than anything you will enjoy the story itself because everyone is a part of it. Especially the kids. Never laughed so hard listening to someone describe changing a diaper.
Happy Reading!
I laughed and cried. Action and will keep you turning the pages till the end. Excellent story. Funny. Bloody. Lovable characters. Be sure to check out this awesome story.
Mira is a witch and is on the run from a warlock. She’s pregnant and gives birth in a car in from of the Warriors compound. Steve is the funniest and craziest one of them all. He’s a half blood vampire and a VC Warrior. He helps delivery Mira’s baby and feels a connection between them.
There is a curse on Mira, whoever she falls in love will die. And the heart on her chest turns blood red, meaning Steve is her mate. The warlock wants all three of the Grail women dead, so he will be at full strength. ( That’s Mira, her sister Kira, and baby Drew).
Steve will protect them with his life, if he has too. He lives the baby as much as he loves Mira but when they are in an accident he could lose the only woman he has said I Love You to.
Hilarious, as serious as things got i smiled throughout this book. Steve is still The same goof that can’t seem to control his mouth and I laughed as much as I bit my nails in anticipation.
Mira arrives at the Warrior compound seeking refuge amid gunfire and suicidal henchmen. What follows is a roller coaster ride of magic and mayhem that will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next.
We get to see a side of Steve that we never saw coming and will have you cheering him on. We also get more of the mysterious Ronan and a big reveal in who is behind the infamous Crimson Rush.
This is a must read for any PNR loving fan.
**********Contains Spoilers**********
I loved this book. Steve has been a favourite of mine from the start and some of the sh*t that comes out of his mouth is absolute gold and has made me laugh so much especially some of the questions he asks Siri like do ants have b*lls? He really came into his own in this book. Him and Mira are so cute together and he was smitten and protective of wee Drew Boo from basically her first breath. I was shocked that Steve didn’t die or at least get maimed multiple times in this book considering all the sh*t he said and called his fellow Warriors on like Jared when he was being a complete and utter a*se to Tessa and refusing to be her training partner and then basically told her Steve was too busy as well, she stormed out and told him that he’d won he’s completely lucky that he still has a mate and Steve was completely right to tell him that he was a d*ck. As soon as Steve heard about the curse that was put of all the Grail women and any man who dared to fall in love with one the curse will k*ll them, he refused to leave Mira and that he’ll fight for her and Drew Boo. I found Steve’s chat’s with Drew Boo about dating etc were absolutely hilarious. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next with the curse, Orajel (lol classic Sid) and their fight to save the world. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
My eyes can see
When this warrior finally comes into his own you better watch out. The author takes us on a fantastic journey of self discovery with the warrior who is always bringing the comedic breaks we look forward to. I love that Steve gets his HEA and a family all in one go. The addition of magic to this series adds a new level of mystery to the book and more danger to the overall series. I can’t wait to see what the characters get up to next.
