Love is fatal; a snake that slithers into your life, poisons you with its venom, and leaves you there to die.I swore I wouldn’t be my parents.I swore I would stay away from the limelight.Falling in love with a musician was definitely out of the question. Weston Carter was all kinds of wrong for a girl like me. He was musician, a womanizer, and a first class heartbreaker.I didn’t know a love like … heartbreaker.
I didn’t know a love like this could exist. Our love was epic, the kind people wrote stories about. We fell into it hard, unable to control our feelings.
I set myself up for a shattered heart.
A broken life.
A fucked up love story.

A love shaped by the past…..a romance that was destined to fall apart….two souls that cannot escape the heartache that comes along with finding that love of a lifetime.
Memories of the past fuel Emilia from taking a chance at love. Losing her mother to cancer at a young age was hard. To add more insult to injury, Emilia’s father overdosed after losing the love of his life. Believing that his own life wasn’t worth living after losing his wife. All Emilia has known is love is deadly. It must be avoided at all cost.
Growing up in Brazil, Emilia created a plan for her life. Part of that included furthering her education in the United States. The day before her return overseas, Emilia runs into a man that causes her to pause. Someone that evokes those ‘butterflies’ that everyone raves about. A kink in the armor of her heart…..one with the name Weston.
Immediately, Emilia finds reasons to keep Weston at arms length. The biggest strike against him is the fact that Weston is a musician. To make matters worse – Weston is the singer in her friend’s band. Opening the door to a series of ‘paths crossing’ over the years. No matter the circumstance, no matter the amount of time that has passed…Emilia always finds a way to avoid giving in to her feelings towards Weston.
Then the song and dance takes another turn. Emilia decides to dip her toes into the water. Would it really be that bad to see where this romance with Weston leads? After a promise to herself not to fall in love, Emilia throws her rules out the window. A love affair for the ages begins to form.
With their dreams on the horizon, Emilia and Weston begin to plan for a future together. That’s when life decides to throw a fork in the road…..a kink in ‘happily ever after’. Their path no longer as simple as it was when their journey began.
*Sigh* There are so many thoughts turning around in my head about Invisible Love Letters. First – I totally loved it! Nothing about loving someone is ‘simple’. A quality that Callie Anderson captured without a shadow of a doubt. This story is raw, but at the same time so beautiful. It captures a unmistakable love of a lifetime. Along with that – it leads readers on a journey filled with angst, super hot sex, and decisions that will leave you gutted from the heartbreak.
Callie Anderson really pulled out all the stops for her debut novel!! In fact – you might end up wishing for a few Invisible Love Letters of your own. If Weston has any part in it….you will wait for every letter….looking for that yellow gel.
What can I say? I was hesitate to read this book at the beginning.. purchased it after reading it had pretty good review… I was wrong… this book is an emotional spin, gutted, romantic… hurt… hope.. happiness.. selfless-ness.. True love exist!
I don’t think I have started to breathe right just yet after reading this and doing emotional reviews is all bad but I can’t wait. This book is sooo frustrating and emotional and everything us emotional people love in a book. Lies! Lies!! Lies!!! All of it lies. Lies have torn them apart. Lies have brought them together. Lies have laid between them. Lies will be revealed and man when they are it all goes to hell. I mean what kind of fallout can you expect from LIES. No matter the heart that conceives to deceive they are still lies. So many lives affected. So much unsaid. So much ruined.
I had no idea this was a cliff hanger but not all cliff hangers are bad. This isn’t a fast read although and with that in mind all of this is needed for the story to be as heart wrenching and conflicted and have as large an impact if it wasn’t all in one book. You wont be disappointed because it is all encompassing. I haven’t read this author before but with the start of this relationship and how it progressed it’s the type of style I live and breathe for. I love the angst. I love the conflict. I love even when I want to reach out and touch and tell them to put their big girl panties on or man up. This is the kinda read I thrive on. I don’t have to agree with their decision I just have to be invested in the outcome and this couple, this author drew me in. I need the conclusion to this.
