This is not my first book by Ginny Yttrup. I enjoy her writing because you can expect something different from each book. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was amazing. The author dealt tactfully with some hard subjects. The struggle for the characters were real situations that happens to people everyday. I enjoyed listening to each …
A nicely handled topic that most women experience

I did enjoy the book, and loved the topics it addressed. However, at times it did seem to drag on.
It was a story that helps us as women see our imperfect selves as beautiful in the eyes of God and other people.
Great quotes from Augustine woven into a heart-freeing drama.
I loved it, especially the character Ellyn who I could relate to.
This is a great book for Christians and seekers to read – it deals not only with developing trust in the Lord, but also, how we see ourselves and dealing with ‘issues’ that may haunt us and/or block out deeper relationship with the Lord and others.
Great summer read or anytime actually. Ginny taps into womens perspective that is both real and whimsical. i felt like a found new friends and was sad when I finished the last page. These characters came alive and their internal dialogue was honest and accurate. Recommend for any woman who has ever had body issues or guilt laden past.
Most women seem to struggle with self image, whether it is anorexia and bulemia or just feeling unattractive. This book deals with characters who are doing just that! We see them wrestle and slowly begin to see themselves as loved by the Father.
This novel the lives of four women who are in crisis for different reasons, but who share this—they feel invisible in their pain.
Great read. Recommend it for anyone.
I loved the book. I LOVED the characters….. Very pleasant read!
Very thought-provoking. The characters became real to me and I identified with their desire and willingness to embrace the healing power of Spirit.
Love this author. I’ve read three of her books so far. Going to start a fourth for my book club.
In depth story reflecting real experiences and feelings. Very moving.
Love this book, but I haven’t found a book by this author that I didn’t love!
My favorite!!! I so love this book. Like have read it nine times love it. I even got a tattoo to remind myself of the ever present truth – I am made in the image of God!
An amazing story of freedom! Freedom from the things that shame us. Ginny Yttrup has the ability to create a story that protrays Biblical principles. I could certainly identify with the characters, especially Ellen. A story every woman should read!
Another one of my favs
