THEY ARE COMING. THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN.The discovery of objects approaching from Jupiter orbit sets humanity on edge, sending cities into panic. Most is unknown, but thanks to the popular Astral space app, everyone knows the few facts the government has tried to hide:The objects are enormous spheres numbering in the dozens, maybe hundreds. They are on an approach vector toward Earth … and they … vector toward Earth … and they will arrive in six days.
Entrepreneur Meyer Dempsey is in New York, realizing the time has come to act on all the preparations he’s made without ever consciously knowing why. For years Meyer has been preoccupied by a dreamlike sense of coming peril and knows where he must take his family … if, that is, they can make it before society eats itself alive with fear.
This relentless, page-turning tale of apocalyptic dawn is the first in the Alien Invasion series by masters of story Truant & Platt, authors of The Beam, Robot Proletariat, and many more.

Spell binding. Kept me wanting more could not out down.
Has an interesting premise. However, I did not like the ending. l won’t give it away but if you read it you’ll find out.
Great storyline. Characters were original and believable. The action, plot and twists are heart pounding and edge of your seat riveting. I will definitely buy more books from this author. I’ve suggested this book to several friends of mine. Love this Book!!!!!
Good story line. A little repetitive in spots
Could not put it down!

Higglyhlyvreda”s
enjoyed the read til the last few pages which were sort of a cheap way out to get reader to follow the series. book was ok but……
Loved every minute!!
Walking Dead meets alien invader with a shaman
Interesting premise and I kept reading to see what happened. Writing is stiff and characters are inconsistently fleshed out.
Enjoyed this book, easy read with believable characters and good plot. Plot is realistic and it kept me entertained and interested to the end. Recommend this book for those interested in this type of story line.
I had a hard time staying with it. It needed more action and less fill.
I’m tired on getting hooked into a story only to have it as part on, and then not being able to find the other books
Quickly boiled down to a bickering family on the road trip from hell. The writer seems to have never driven cross country or looked at a map. The landmarks mentioned aren’t places you’d travel through on a trip from NYC to Colorado
great story and plot.
This book is kinda wordy, but it’s ok. I guessed the ending, now I have to read the second book to find out what happened next.
