Kai left Jax without an explanation, she moved to the other side of the world. Knowing the reason why she left him made me so sad for them. I promised I wouldn’t give any spoiler and is so hard. Honestly their past was proof of how important is communication, trust and mostly not to assume things. Sometimes love isn’t enough and fate gifts you with a second chance. What a perfect chance was Kai’s sister weeding? Two years being apart, answers pending and a connection neither of them can’t resist. The chemistry was still there, slow burning preparing to explode.

Kai was so stubborned. I get why she acted that way but she was just hurting herself being like that. She needed a jump of faith. Jax, Jax, Jax. He was the sweetest, lovely and most precious soul. He knocked me out of my feet in the good way. He wasn’t at all what I thought he was going to be. Told in dual POV, being on Jax’s mind was wonderful. I wanted to hug and protect him from everything specially from his mom. She really know how to piss others, cruelty has a new name!

Fast paced, page-turner, wonderful characters and a background story that will surprise you. Sienna’s story amazed me! Great writing and development of a second chance romance placed on an island. Highly recommend!”

Intrigued by Love!

I wish I could see the relationship between the title of this book and the story. That being said, this was an easy read with a fairly fast moving story. Jax and Kai were living together for a few years. One day, Jax returns from a work related trip, to find that Kai left him. No explanation, no communication. Jax still loved her, but he has no clue what caused her to run away. Kai has tried to move on from Jax after leaving him. She moves to the French Polynesia and manages a world renowned resort. Now her sister is getting married, and her sister’s fiancé books the entire resort for a month to get ready for the wedding, and to host various celebrations of their upcoming nuptials. And Jax is there from the beginning as he’s the best man to Kai’s maid of honour.

It’s obvious that Kai and Jax still have loads of hot chemistry. But until Jax determines why Kai left, they can never really get back together. When we learn the reason she left, and how she left, I lost a lot of respect for her. And I was surprised Jax was willing to cater to her. I found Jax’s parents to be horrible, but that all could have been addressed before she up and ran. Unfortunately, I felt that Kai was a self-centred and selfish woman. She appeared to have matured somewhat from her past relationship, but I fear she had a way to go, whereas Jax also needed to realize his needs for time and work without having someone demand him, needed to be fully addressed, and it was not.

Sexy, fun and Original
Intrigued by Love was so hot, and fun to read, it was amazing to read a story with a different background and learn about a beautiful culture.

Kailani and Jax love each other and were in a relationship for years until Kailani decided to leave Jax without an explanation.
Jax knows his family never approved of Kai and he tried to keep her way from them to protect her, but in his effort to protect her Kai felt like she was put aside and Jax was ashamed of her, one day suddenly she was gone and he was left to pick up the pieces of his broken heart.
Two years later Kai lives in Bora Bora, she is successful but she is alone and away from her family and the man she still loves even if they have been apart, Kailani can’t forget and stop loving Jax.
Kai is in charge of her sister’s wedding, and for a month her family and Jax will be in the island, Jax wants a second chance and he wants to know the real reason Kai left him, they love each other and their attraction can’t be ignore, Jax is the only man that can pleasure Kai’s darkest desires, they are meant for each other, but they only have a month to finally discovered if they will have their happy ending or is the moment to finally say good bye.

Kailani ran from the man she loved two years ago. She still loved him, but it would never work.
Jax loved her so much. He couldn’t understand why she left so suddenly. He knew he had to follow her.
When Jax is best man at her sister’s wedding, Kailani trys to avoid him. He finally confronts her and all of the misunderstandings are revealed. Will they get their second chance?

This is the first novel I have read by Sienna Snow and I can say with confidence that it will not be the last. I love reading the Written in the Stars series. These books are not only very good, but they are also allowing me to find all these great new authors! book is part of the Written in the Stars Series. This series is 12 zodiac signs, 12 authors, and 12 sexy, deeply romantic novellas. Snow’s book is the zodiac sign Gemini.

Intrigued by Love follows the story of Jax and Kailani (such a beautiful name). Kailani or Kai for short is a partner and the manager of a beautiful resort in Bora Bora. She is planning her sister’s wedding at her resort. Her world is turned upside down when her ex, Jax, steps off her soon-to-be brother-in-law’s private jet. It has been two years since she laid eyes on Jackson Burton. Those two years have done nothing to assuage the heat she feels for him. Also, Kai is Hawaiian, and Snow does an amazing job paying homage to the Hawaiian culture and their customs in this novella. Go to Amazon and purchase Intrigued by Love to find out if these two loves are able to manage their families and their second chance at love! There is no epilogue in this story but maybe that just means that Snow will give us more of Jax and Kai and the Alexander family!

Can you say “MISUNDERSTNADING” and “MISCOMMUNICATION”? That’s what this second chance romance by Sienna Snow is all about. Two souls that love each other yet somehow managed to break each others hearts. Kai and Jax was engaged o be married, to spend their lives together… they truly loved each other somehow managed to mess it all up. Now at her sisters wedding in a place that is beautiful as it is seductive they are forced to deal with what had happened. The story is so sweet and sassy, as well as hot and juicy!! I enjoyed every minute of the plot and the circumstances that brought these two together again. This whole Written in the Stars series has been truly wonderful to read.

I did like this book. While I enjoyed it, I didn’t love it. I did not like Kai. I tried to give her a chance but I just couldn’t. I am a fan of this author and will keep reading more.

A perfect second chance beach read

This is the first book I’ve read from the Written in the Stars collection but being a fan of Snow’s work I knew I wanted to take a chance and I am so glad I did.

Part owner of an exclusive resort it seems as though Kai is living the dream
But when you peel back the layers – She is hiding.
Oh, she is happy but she is missing that one special thing that would make everything perfect
Someone to share it with – The other half of her soul.
At first, I questioned her original pack and flee behavior but after meeting Jax’s ‘rents –
I would have tried for the moon.
Holy Cow how did Jax turn out so well?

Jax knew what he wanted and he had the patience to go after it
And what a fabulous way to show someone that they were the center of their world? Nothing sexier than a man that knows what he wants and has the forthwith to go after it

The chemistry between these two was nothing short of sun melting hot!

This is a quick read on a tropical island with a smoking hot couple that have some amazing chemistry and some serious making up to do. I loved them and their story. They will have you reading way into the night.

We meet Kailani at the beginning of this story. What does she do for a living? What do we learn about her background and her family? Who is Raquel? What major event is Kailani and Raquel getting ready for? Where? Oh, who is Jackson? What happened with him? Ooooh! I don’t care for Jackson’s mother. I love Kailani’s family and extended family! This was an incredible second-chance romance. Read and see what I enjoyed about it!
