Such an emotional read. Had my pulse racing in spots and my blood cooling in others. Heartbreaking and gut clinching! You won’t be disappointed to read this book.
Had this little gem sitting on my kindle for the longest time. What was wrong with me? This story was amazing. The connection between Xander, Paige and the Watson family was everything you wanted it to be. It took you on an emotional roller coaster. On to book two
Xander Evans has always found solace in being a drifter, after losing his family at a young age it is something that has almost become innate to him, traveling from place to place, never really finding a reason to put down roots. During his travels he has worked odd jobs to keep himself afloat, and made friends along the way, but nothing has ever seem to made him want to stick around… that is until he makes a stop in Truman Valley, Missouri. His plan is to stop in for a drink or two, and then he ends up coming to the rescue of a beautiful local woman, and the minute their eyes connect, the sparks start to fly, and a sense of peace settles over him, and has him wanting to stay…
The minute Paige Watson meets Xander Evans she knows that there is something special between them, but he doesn’t seem to interested in exploring it, and she can’t fathom why. When her father invites him to work on their families winery she begins to spend more time with the handsome stranger and begins to understand why he isn’t so willing to give in to the spark they share… he’s a drifter and relationship’s just aren’t part of his plan. But with time, he begins to open up to her, and shows her a side of himself that very few get the opportunity to see, and she instantly wants more with him, now she just has to find a way to convince that what they have is a good enough reason for him to stay…
This book completely took me by surprise, just when I thought I knew where it was going, things would take a different turn, and leave me struggling to get a hold on my emotions, and brace myself for what was to come next!! Mere seconds after starting this one I felt an addiction settle in, and I knew there was no way I was letting go of it until I had devoured every last page…which lead to one VERY satisfying late night of reading! Xander and Paige had me at their mercy, each word they uttered hitting me to the core, evoking my emotions, and keeping me completely entranced with their every move. If ever there were two people more deserving of a happily ever after it has to be these two, they have both faced so much heartbreak in their lives, and it was truly a beautiful thing to witness them letting go of the painful memories from their pasts and discover a love they both desperately needed . I can honestly say that there isn’t a single thing about this story that I didn’t absolutely love, not only was it one of the best first reads I have had the pleasure of delving into in a long while, but also an introduction to a very talented author that I think has a VERY promising career ahead of him!!
I highly recommend this read, it is one of those reads that will consume your every thought, stir your emotions, have you on the edge of your seat gasping for your next breath, and linger with you long after the last page has been turned!

What an emotional, twisty ride. This book was freaking amazing. I love BTs writing. Can’t wait for the rest of the series.
Not your typical HEA romance, and that is very okay, as I see Into the Nothing as being more about a man whose life has been filled with nothing but struggles and heartache and just when he begins to feel like he’s found some happiness and normalcy, and yes, love, it’s all torn away with a devastating tragedy that not only impacts the family he’s beginning to feel as though he is a part of, it impacts him as well.
There are elements to the story that may not make sense at the moment you are reading them, however, they will make sense to you as you continue through the novel. Just keep reading ~ there is a reason for every scene in the book.
The ending of Into the Nothing is not what I anticipated and I was definitely surprised by a few revelations, which is something I appreciate in a story. I like to think I know where it’s going only to be knocked back when I find out what really happens.
Into the Nothing has its moments of happiness, sadness, anger, passion, intrigue and shock, all elements which BT has woven together to give readers a great story that will have you wanting more.
I enjoyed the song references for each chapter, and if you are able, take time to listen to the Spotify play list as the connections make sense once you’ve listened.
Looking forward to more from BT and definitely more from this series as I know there is so much more for Xander and Paige and I can’t help but believe we’ll learn more about Chase and Brandi and I really do need to hear more from Twitch. I think he has a story to tell and I certainly hope he’s telling it to BT.
CONGRATULATIONS, BT, on your debut solo release!!
OMG OMG OMG OMFG!!
This book took such a turn I cold not believe it. This is the first book of BT Urruela’s I have read and I will totally be back for more. My first thought is boy can write, good god can he write. It is really suspenseful. I just loved it.
This book is about a romance with ups and downs. It has its hot moments and there are totally mysterious and suspenseful moments as well. You will also find some darker themes in this book. Such as violence, drugs, alcohol, and death.
I personally think everything worked really good together and came out as a 5 star read, I enjoy the dark, gritty stories.. I cannot wait to read the next book and see where Paige and Zander’s story will go from here.
