Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession
Oooo the way Angus Yellowlees narrates these characters is just beautiful. The range of accents that he uses for them is great and makes each so very distinctive that you can’t mix them up.
This book picks up where the last one left off and moves along at a lickity split. I thoroughly enjoyed following them on their journey as they learned more what is going on and what might happen next. It’s a lot for them to take in and adjust to! The characters are great and I loved watching as their relationships grew and changed and I enjoyed the new characters. I look forward to the next book.
I absolutely love Angus as the narrator for the Seven Wardens series. I don’t think anyone else could do it justice haha. I think Angus does a great job with all his distinguishing voices, especially the different guys (even if I am not a fan of Flint’s voice so much). I thought Angus was inventive with the different “beings” and the echo-ing he did, since they were all different (for The Devil, the lady spirit I am gonna butcher if I try to spell haha, and the mouse’s hubby). Can’t wait to listen to more of his audiobooks, he definitely needs to stay on for the rest of the series
Book Review:
In honesty book 2 is not my favorite of the Seven Wardens, so I couldn’t give it 5 stars like book 1. I think because this one had some lull moments that book 1 didn’t (when Macy was kidnapped by the voice/devil). Also the part about self-doubt didn’t hit me like I had hoped it would, compared to the other baddie of the story. I also noticed that some phrases/feelings were often repeated and just needed to be edited a bit to make it cleaner/more impactful. Despite those things, I am loving how the story is progressing with Macy, her guys, Ishban and Amber, and now the intrigue with aunt Nessie! I was sad to see a character go, but I loved how it was done/the reasoning. It was bittersweet to be sure. I am also intrigued about the Selkie character and if he fits in anywhere/continues on with the story.
Can’t wait for Book 3 on audio, hopefully will be here is a couple months! I am able to get through so many more audiobooks compared to normal books and definitely will continue to download the Seven Wardens on audio
Ohh another great read .. this book is the second book and yes I recommend reading the first book before this one.. I got lost in this book loved it. Now on to the next
Kelpppppies…. And Nessie…. come on guys! Just read the book! It is awesome.
This is book is a great follow up to the first. Marci just can’t seem to keep out of trouble and her men are always up for a great challenge to save her. The characters that you met in the first book are still growing in this one and it is just great. The story plot is great, as are the characters. I just love mythology all together so I would definitely recommend this book.

This picks up where the first book leaves off. I absolutely love Macey and her guys, and I really enjoyed Amber. There’s secrets and twists that kept me glued to the pages.
You don’t want to miss this series it’s fantastically written, filled with humor, and keeps you on your toes
she is kidnapped again. she is going to be in trouble as he knows what he wants with her. she could wait to be rescued by her men but she will do it herself. will she get free? will they save her? what will he do with her? wow

I really liked how it’s not your typical harem. At a first glance, you’d think that all of the wardens are going to be Macey’s but that’s not the case. It’s definitely a nice change of pace from the typical, predictable harem.
Anyway; the storyline has definitely gone in an interesting direction. The interactions between the characters (well, some of them) are crazy steam! I love the dynamic between Mercy and Flint, Cam, and Jared. Plus, the storyline has taken turns I seriously had not anticipated!

I didn’t realize I was coming into the middle of a series. What I could get from this book was good. It did keep me interested and reading. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
Macey thinks she finds herself with her beloved men when she wakes after a recent battle, but where is she really?
She meets lighting Beither Amber and discovers both that they are called together and that they are trapped by an evil voice.
He seems to take on the power of deception and doubt, and can apparently reflect their fears and their hopes back to them to use against them.
Belief in themselves and their talents can free them, for now at least, but the biggest battles are ahead.
Interesting that over coming self doubt is among the hardest challenges.
a steamy and sexy saga, with much adventure and somewhat frustrated romance.
If you enjoy story cycles like the Silmarillion and Lord of the Rings, but prefer an adult twist, this could be your next fun read – or whole series of reads – great as standalone, or as part of the series!

This is the second book in the Seven Wardens series and picks up pretty much where book one left off. The character growth fits perfectly with the timeline and we get to watch Macey deal with her capture by the “Voice” who we find out is named Mahoun. There are plenty of answers given in this book but many more left unanswered so we will have to wait for book three.
This series just gets better and better. The trouble these wardens find themselves in is unbelievable and it’s one puzzle after another! The adventure continues and it’s fantastic, can’t wait for the next book!
My fave Kelpie is back to kick some butt in this new installment to this series. We pick up right where book one ended with Macey being held prisoner. The story just gets better from there as she gets free, meets back up with her men, meets new friends, and learns all kinds of things. The story building is just incredible and you can’t help but love the characters. A must read for fans of paranormal reverse harem romance novels. Macey really needs some waffles now. I loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
“Into the Mists” continues right where “From the Deeps” ended, with Macey kidnapped. The Voice has her locked in a dungeon and tortures her daily. Poor Macey goes through some horrible mental torture. While she’s there she meets one of the other Wardens, but is the Warden a friend or foe? It’s hard to tell with the Voice manipulating everything.
Macey meets some very cool new supernaturals in the book. I love the authors’ descriptions, the supernaturals just jump off the pages.
The last scene…OMG!…my Kindle burst into flames! What a way to end the book! When is the next one coming out? Soon, I hope?
This story is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME and so are the authors that wrote it! I’m so looking forward to reading the next book because I have to know what happens to Macey and the rest of the gang. I am recommending that you read it but first start with From The Deep before you start on this one that way you don’t get confused on who’s who! Skye MacKinnon and Laura Greenwood are gifted story weavers I can definitely guarantee that you will not be disappointed at all!
Very nice adventure that is more action packed then the first book and has you on the edge wondering where Macey and her Wardens will end up next. If you like magic, adventure, well written characters and steamy romance, then read this series
This is a great 2nd book….this one is more emotional battles then physical battles, but it is awesome to read about how Macey faced her self doubts and fears. I also like how her relationship with each warden is getting closer be it s a lover or friends. Some new allies come in to the picture too and I can’t wait to read book 3 to see what new allies they make and to see how they are going to save their world!
