From USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Bernard…sometimes the only way forward is into the flames … responsibilities. Duties. Goodbye hotshots, hello boardroom—and a socially acceptable bride. This is absolutely the worst time to realize just how sexy and adorable his good friend Brianna is.
Put her in a garden with some plants, and Brianna Gallagher knows just what to do. Send her on a date with an attractive man and things get awkward. Epically awkward. It’s a good thing she and Rollo are such great friends. It would be a total disaster if she started noticing his ripped physique and sculpted muscles. Kissing him is a definite no-no. As for falling into bed … well, that might be okay as long as they both know it’s a limited time deal. She doesn’t belong in his world, and he can’t stay in hers. No matter how much she’s falling for him.
But fate has a way of changing people’s plans. When a family crisis follows Rollo to Jupiter Point, he turns to the one woman he trusts above all others. Throw in a disastrous visit to Manhattan, a bride hunt, and the world’s most awkward crush, and it will take a miracle to bring them together. Or a shocking event that puts Brianna’s life at risk …

I love a love story where the 2 people know each other either from years ago or whatever. It was cute and funny and had some twists and turns.
Into the Flames is book three in the Jupiter Point series (can be read as a stand-alone) and is the perfect friends to lovers romance.
Brianna and Rollo became instant friends when the hotshots came to town. He’s a big, burly, bear of a man and she is a small, klutzy, say-it-as-it-is, spitfire. Their friends have tried to set them up three times now *hint, hint* and they laugh it off since they are the best of friends and nothing more. In their quest to help each other in the romance department, they finally open their eyes and see each other in a different light. Unfortunately, Rollo’s family obligations have him tied up on what he can do and who he can marry. He knows his family would chew her up and spit her out – he couldn’t and wouldn’t do that to his Brianna. Brianna hates her awkwardness and her insecurities make it difficult to see herself as a sexy, attractive woman.
Oh my beating heart – that first kiss was one for the record books! So much passion and heat – wow. I love their hilarious bantering and how their deep friendship shines through so easily. You can feel their friendship and love for each other in every page.
Jennifer does a brilliant job with all the additional characters and the side stories they bring. The mystery and suspense with Old Man Turner, Rollo’s sister, his family’s demands and obligations, New York. Everything flows and ties together flawlessly. This book has it all and you will love reading Rollo and Brianna’s journey.
loved it!
Cute book. Worth the read.
This book would be even better without all the detailed sex scenes and vulgar language. The basis of the book is really good and romantic.
I loved this one!
It was a book that i enjoy a lot. Just when you think you know what going to happen something was off in left field comes up. The writing was almost spot on.
Charming characters, romantic story
Made ma want to read more about them
It’s ok
Cute book
Very enjoyable read.
Enjoyed the characters.
The base of the plot follows the usual premise of rich guy/poor girl but SO not in the usual fashion. The plot is quite interesting and original, a page turner really. You can’t help but fall in love with Brianna and Rollo and their passion for life and each other. All around, a very good read.
Into the Flames: Rollo was nothing like anyone in his family. He was tough and very special. Brianna understand Rollo so much that is why they click so well. It was a great story and I loved how Jennifer Bernard chose to write this story. I loved the heat and the romance throughout the book. Wonderful!
Brianna Gallagher isn’t exactly a girly-girl. She loves working with the dirt of the Earth, is clumsy and feels awkward in most situations. She makes friends with a Jupiter Point Hotshot/Millionaire with Rollo Wareham III. Their friendship starts to take a turn when they both awkwardly try to help each other with their respective crushes. A story with great characters, and a little romantic steam. A sure 5 star read!
This is a fantastic story! Brianna, Jupiter’s Point landscape designer is absolutely adorable. Her clumsy, awkward and “ordinary” way is so sweetly complimented by Rollo’s tough, rough mountain-man hotshot persona. Their story is sweet, tender, electric and has you hoping for a HEA even when their social status is a big bump in the road.
The other residents of Jupiter Point play important roles in this book as well. You catch up to what is going on with everyone especially, ninety year old Old Man Turner. Brianna’s friendship with him gives her some much need solace when things go haywire around her, until he goes missing and a strange man is in garden shed.
In this book, you are introduced the Rollington Wareham the Third’s family and his NYC life. It is a life that he doesn’t want but can not deny his responsibility to them, the family company and his past mistakes. His younger sister, Sydney stirs up trouble as she also pushes back against the family. Brianna sees that the fourteen year old girl is troubled and befriends her during her unauthorized visit to Jupiter Point.
This story tugs on you on your heartstrings with many of the characters so be prepared. I consider this book a must read!
Lovely friends to lovers story! Brianna is socially awkward but Rollo is the only man who doesn’t get her tongue tied! They both try to set each other up with their prospective crushes, while the rest of the town is trying to set them up. Throw in his uptight family with their expectations for a really enjoyable read.
Love this book. Feel good romance
OMG! Rollo is hot!! 30 years old & his life is about to completely change. Rollo has been a member of the Hot Shots firefighting team. He promised his mother that once he turned 30 he would take his rightful place in the family business & would marry a woman she chose. Brianna is his best friend. Brianna has a crush of a friend of Rollo’s & he agrees to try to help her catch his friends eye. Rollo suddenly realizes his feelings for Brianna have changed.
I really enjoyed this story & think it’s my new favorite. Rollo & Brianna are the perfect couple & everyone knows it except them. They both have to learn to trust their feelings & lean on each other. Brianna needs to gain self confidence & see herself the way others see her instead of the klutz she thinks she is. Rollo’s sister adds to the story & the interaction between them is tender & endearing. This is a wonderful uplifting story & reminds us to keep reaching for our dreams. There is always more than one way to reach them.
