This book resumes where the last one ended: members from each of the five factions plus Emma and Calan are in the Stygian searching for a way out. I enjoyed the uncertainty that these frienemies brought to this situation. Emma and Calan were in a fragile place in their relationship at a time when even survival was not assured. While dealing with demons and trying to find the portal back to the earth plane of existence, unique aspects of all the characters were revealed. I liked the conclusion, but saw that purple or black glint in Emma’s eye as the cliffhanger to the next book. That, plus the Twinkie-loving-demon-in-a-bottle that Emma brought with her says something else is going to happen. I am looking forward to the concluding story! I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I received a free book and the views and opinions are my own. I loved this book. Book four deals with all five orders having to depend on each other to keep safe. Damien plays a big role. I also enjoyed meeting the demon who possessed Grannie Rits. Another surprise ending. Would recommend this book and series to all.
I received a arc and volunteer to review this book. . . . Fantastic series.
Into Darkness by Holly Roberds is a great story to read. This is book number four in this great series that I have really enjoyed reading very much and can not wait to read what this author will write about next. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about romantic suspense and paranormal romance.

Into Darkness …… right! You are in hell to save the world. This book continues where part 3 ended. Everything Emma and Calan do comes from love for each other but also for the people around them and the world on which they live. Fight against the monsters in the dark but also against each other. Until they understand that together they are stronger than the beings from the world of Stygian.

In order to seal the breach and stop evil from entering earth, a member of each of the five orders had to go back through the rift. So now stranded on the other side, at each other’s throats and being attacked by the Stygian it does not look good. Emma and Calan fight for each other and their love.
This is the fifth instalment of the epic tale, the Five Orders Series, a suspenseful action/adventure paranormal romance. In order to get the full experience I suggest you read the series from the beginning. Excitement, suspense, action and romance threaded together in a storyline full of twists, surprises and the unexpected. The interplay between the well created and developed characters draws you into the story. It is a well done story worth reading.

This volume is the best so far in the series. Looks like Holly the constructive criticism of the viewpoint transitions in volume three to heart. In Into Darkness the transitions are smooth and wholly appropriate to character development and in moving the plot forward. This book of the story might well be one of the best multiple-viewpoint treatments I’ve ever read.
The growing collection of players in the quest and their travels toward home through Hell is engrossing, especially as concerns Emma and Calan’s attempts to do the “right” things while their plans go off somewhere into the distance. And the ways in which Calan manages to protect Emma are necessary, even though she doesn’t pay a lot of attention to her various situations.
I’m sure I won’t be the only reader anxiously awaiting Book 5.
I received an advance review copy of this e-book and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
A wonderful addition to the series This story just keeps getting better and better! You feel for this couple as they try to do what’s right but it seems it just doesn’t work. They finally work together to figure out what they have to do. This series is wonderful and just want more! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
OMG, what a rush!
Holly Roberds has done it again with a well-written fast-paced tale in her series, “The Five Orders”. Into Darkness continuing the journey of Emma and Calan into the Stygian, the hell dimension. Holly has added even more intrigue and twists to get your blood pumping and keep your eyes glued to the pages as our main characters traverse the “Hell” realm to find their way back to earth. Joining them on this journey are Damien, Jo, Regina, Ylang, and Diana. With the help of a demon, Snarp, but before they can go home, Emma must go through the Reckoning!!! Will Emma live? Will the group make it out of the Stygian? Will they allow Damien to live? Read “Into Darkness” to find out. I loved this amazing tale and highly recommend you read it.
