International Guy Inc. is owned and operated by Parker Ellis, a ladies’ man with a high IQ and a big libido. He’s the most successful life and love coach in the world, and he’s smart enough to know he can’t run a multimillion-dollar company alone.
He hires two friends whose areas of expertise complement his own. They comprise The Dream Maker, The Love Maker, and The Money Maker. Together, they advise the wealthiest people in the world: Hollywood hotshots, European royalty, and the CEOs of multibillion-dollar companies. And sometimes they can’t help it when things heat up and they end up in bed with their clients. Quite literally.
This International Guy likes his playboy lifestyle, and he’s not looking for commitment. After all, there’s a whole world waiting for him. But as he goes from city to city, and from woman to woman, it’s possible that he just might find his own love along the way…
This volume includes the fourth, fifth, and sixth International Guy novellas.

The second volume in the International Guy Series was even better than the first! Especially now that we are already invested in the characters their adventures and heartbreaks seem more personal and intense. I adore the way Carlan builds tension and develops relationships between her characters. Even if I can’t jet-set around the world or be a gorgeous movie star I still feel like these books resonate in a way that will echo forever.
Milan
Come along for another inspirational adventure with the men on International Guy Inc. Parker and Bo are off to Milan to inspire woman of all shapes and sizes to embrace their sexy. The guys have been hired to help everyday woman find their inner sexy and walk the catwalk. Easier said than done. Parker and Bo find some bumps in the road, but Parker being Parker once again hits the ball out of the park. With some creativity and Parker charm, he soon has the ordinary becoming extraordinary.
In this installment, Parker has to make some hard choices on where he and Skyler’s relationship stands. Although they both have agreed on a monogamous and go with flow relationship , some steamy photos of Parker and Skyler brings their relationship to the limelight with the press. Now Parker is the sought out man in Skyler Paige’s life and along with it comes fame he is not accustomed to and some pressure in their new relationship. Can Parker survive the attention that comes with being Skyler Paige’s MAN? Will Parker finally let down the wall around his heart to fully allow Skyler into it?
Audrey Carlan did it again. Her creative flair, gift of storytelling, and love for her characters allows the reader to experience it as if it’s their own. This series keeps getting better and better and I can not wait to see what Audrey has in store for us in the next installment.
~Embrace your sexy~
San Francisco
Hold on tight because here they go again! Roy and Parker are off to San Francisco to help CEO Rochelle find a mate. She’s had enough of men only wanting her for her wealth. She wants to find a man that will be at her beck and call and one day have an heir with to leave her fortune to. What a surprise when Parker finds that Roy wants to be one of the men in line to win over Rochelle’s heart. Working his charm, Roy and Rochelle share an intimate night, but soon what Rochelle wants and what Roy wants are two different things. As Rochelle chooses candidates, she comes to realize that what she has been looking for has been under her nose the whole time. It takes a game of cat and mouse for Rochelle to finally find what she has been searching for.
We also get to see the protective side of Parker. Parker’s the one to swoon the clients with his charm, looks, and bed side manners, so when Royce tries to do the same with Rochelle, Parker is quick to stop him in his track. Parker sees that Rochelle and Roy are both on different pages when it comes to relationships. Roy angered by Parker’s hypocrisy calls Parker out on it. Tension between the two friends builds to an all high until it is hashed out and lines are established. In the end Parker’s intention were to protect his brother who was blinded by lust and not thinking straight.
While in Cali Parker also comes to terms with his true feeling for Skyler when a threat from her past threatens to destroy her. Miles apart, Parker works with the IG team to help Skyler out. Encouraged with his findings, Parker is eager to get to his woman and share his findings as well as how he feels for her. However when he gets to New York a discovery of his own sends Parker over the edge and into darkness. How does this discovery affect Skyler and Parker’s future? In the end will there be a SkyPark?
Audrey Carlan brought to light another side of these incredible men and what family really means. She also showed us the insecurities, love, passion and how genuine their friendship/brotherhood is through the good and bad. She also showed us that sometimes we overlook what we are looking for when in reality it is front of us the whole time.
~Want what you have.~
Montreal
Heart broken and his heart bleeding, poor Parker has hit his lowest of lows. He and Sky are at a crossroads in their relationship. Finally getting to a point where he was ready to be all in, he finds himself suffocating in gut wrenching hurt and heartache.
The IG team is summoned to Montreal to help businesswoman Alexis Stanton find out who is leaking her companies information to competitors. Wendy joins the crew in an undercover role to help sniff out whose behind it all. Parker is off his game in the state he’s in and misses some very compelling signs that in the end puts one of the IG team members in real danger.
Montreal is filled with highs and lows as hearts are tested and truths are revealed. Audrey Carlan puts us through the wringer emotionally as we ride it out with Parker, Skyler. Roy, Bo and Wendy. Keep them coming Audrey, keep them coming.
~Trust your heart~
With book four in the International Guy series Parker & Bo find themselves in Milan, the home of fashion where their latest job finds them having to turn 12 average housewives into glamorous lingerie models, ready to strut their stuff on a runway at a fashion show and less than a week to do it. As well as having all this on his plate, Parker is having to come to terms with the realisation that he’s falling in love with Skylar Paige, his movie star girlfriend, but with his every interaction with the opposite sex, however innocent, being scrutinised & reported on by the paparazzi, is there enough trust between them for their relationship to survive.
I loved the underlying message in this book with the use of “normal” sized women as models. That they are just as, if not more beautiful than any supermodel. Anna Maria’s husband said it all when he told his wife that “she was the sexiest woman alive and even more so after having his babies. He loved how her body has changed, because it showed how their lives had grown and changed together. She was a mother now. It was a new role, a new body. And when she was an old woman, a grandmother she’d have a grandmother’s body, and he’d love her even more then because she would’ve given him a legacy.” Now that’s the kind of husband every woman should have.
When the International Guy team hit San Francisco Royce takes centre stage to a certain extent when he develops a crush on their latest client and decides that he might be just what she’s looking for. Rochelle is a high flying business woman who is looking for a love match and, after finding out the world is full of frogs rather than princes, has turned to International Guy to help her find her Mr Perfect, little realising that he might have been under her nose all along. With Royce acting completely out of character and mooning over a client, a case of embezzlement, his own burgeoning relationship with Skylar and throw in a blackmailing ex, Parker definitely has his hands full, not just with making sure they leave another satisfied client behind them, but that Royce, his ‘brother from another mother’ doesn’t get hurt or do something stupid that could have implications not only on their friendship but on their business as well.
Montreal has got to be my favourite book in the series so far. After the shocking events in the previous instalment, Parker is off his game and, wanting to show their ‘brother’ some support, the entire team including Wendy is off to Montreal where their latest client, Alexis, is dealing with a case of industrial espionage at her tech company. This book really has it all including a femme fatale for a client who knows exactly what she wants and has her sites set firmly on Parker. She’s just Parker’s type as well, blonde, leggy with a penchance for stilettos so will he be able to hold out against Alexis’ wiles or will he give in to temptation and destroy any chance of “SkyPark” having any chance of a future. With Wendy in her first stint as an undercover operative we learn more of her background and how she met Sir Mick, her knight in shining armour. I have to say I love Wendy. She’s my favourite character and steals any scene she’s in. It was also good seeing the entire team back together in action.
Talk about a cliffhanger of an ending. This series really does keep getting better with each new instalment and I can’t for the release of London to see who’s left standing in the aftermath of Montreal. I really hope Audrey Carlan gives Wendy and Sir Mick their own book though especially after the peeks we’ve had of Wendy’s background. They are a fantastic pairing who deserve to have their story told.
International Guy, Volume 2 by Audrey Carlan contains the books 4-6 Milan, San Francisco and Montreal.
Bo Parker and Royce´s business is thriving. They´re very successful in their field of work and their next case leads them to a fahion designer in Milan.
But more importantly, for Parker, is his relationship with Skyler. She loves him deeply, but his own insecurities and their job make a relationship difficult.
San Francisco is the next place of work for International Guy. A very busy businesswoman needs their service. And while Royce seems to find love, Parker and Skyler have a major fight and fallout. Parker, lead by his stubborn head breaks up with her and makes everyone miserable.
Montreal. Montreal is the installment with the most action and drama. Alexis Stanton needs help in finding the mole in her business and the whole team are up to Montreal. Parker´s bad mood is hard to bear with – but in typical Parker kind – he refuses to hear Skyler out.
The work situation peaks and members of the team are wounded. I literally sat at the edge of my seat reading this installment. My heart was bleeding for S P and M.
International Guy is mostly written in a single POV, a captivating read with characters I easily could connect with. I love Parker, Bo and Royce´s stories and can´t wait to read how the three friends find their maybe HEA.
5 Wonderful Stars!!!
Ms. Carlan has hit it out of the park with these books and this series. I’m absolutely LOVING everything about them. The characters are amazing, there’s swooning and fanning myself and even a few laughs. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to discover her amazing writing.
Parker, Bogart and Royce are all amazing. Their ability to help everyone and anyone that comes to them just proves there are men out there that really listen to what people are saying. They do it with class too…and along the way, potentially find love!!!
I’m ready for the rest of this series!!!
International Guy Volume 2 was yet another wild ride. The author really stepped up on the love, drama, and angst spectrum with these installments. Each book only brought more surprises, passion, and turmoil. I could not put this book down, I just had to devour the pages. Yes it had its ups and downs, but by the end of San Francisco I was completely reeling with ALL the feels. I never saw so many things coming until they slapped me in the face. I had so many jaw dropping, heart pounding, oh my god did that just happen moments I have to give the author some serious kudos. I still just wish we could have more Bo and Royce in their POV. They did make more apparences but from Parker’s POV it doesn’t satisfy your need, nor does it do their characters justice. So I will continue to keep my fingers crossed for more from these two fellas. I can not wait to get my hands on the next volume that ending in Montreal was just too much. I was not ready for things to end. To say I want more is a understatement!
“So we’re doing this. Me and you. A couple. A relationship.”
Milan is sadly probably my least favorite installment so far. It had potential to be more than it was. The plot was so unique, and I genuinely enjoyed the characters when the story fully focused on them. However I felt the storyline and female clients were over shadowed and took a back seat to Skyler and Parker. It was probably 25% work related, and 75% Parker and Skyler. I understand they are a couple now but the story is called International Guy for a reason. With that said I just can it help being disappointed. I had hoped this would not happen but sadly it did. I truly hope the next installments will get back more on track of the International Guy storyline.
“You chose this client and this job because you fell for a pretty face.”
San Francisco was a more enjoyable read for me. I finally got to expirence more of my man Royce! I wish I had gotten his POV but I settled for Parker’s. This story was a wild ride. Rochelle was a total spit fire and definitely kept the men on their toes. I loved her character even if she did stir up quite the trouble. Both in her life, as well as Royce and Parker’s. Rochelle truly needed International Guys help on more than one level. I loved that overall yes San Francisco still included alot of Parker and Skyler but still nowhere near as bad as Milan. Rochelle’s character made sure to stay the center of attention during her book. This installment hands down had the most explosive ending of any to date!
“Her kiss is love, honesty, and truth. It heals me from the inside out as my own body soars to the stars.”
Montreal was one more roller coaster ride! It is definitely my favorite installment yet! It was page after page of non stop action. It also held nothing back when it came to the feels. My emotions was constantly ALL over the place. I LOVED this job finally required all the staff to come together. I felt Montreal really brought Parker, Royce, Bo, and Wendy together on a much deeper level that all their characters needed. Although it too was alot Skyler and Parker, it was also very much International Guy as well. Alexis was another spit fire heroine who kept everyone on their toes. You cant help but admire her fierce personality. She was one of those heroines who made sure she got what she wanted. Her job definitely put each character to the test. Montreal leaves you with a racing mind, and a even heavier heart. I hope you keep your kleenex handy, you are going to need them!
*4&1/2 STARS*
Well earned with this whirlwind of a volume. The suspense this volume leaves behind is utterly consuming. My mind is reeling from all the questions I crave answers too. I am definitely on pins and needles waiting for London.
4.5 Stars
Parker, Bogart and Royce started their International Guy company right after college. It’s a company to help women reach their full potential in the job or in life. Like for example the current client is a fashion designer in Milan who needs help with his ‘normal’ models. He created a line of lingerie for every woman out there. Small, large, big, all of them. But they’re all untrained civilians. Our guys come in to help them walk down the runway. Be confident. Proud. Whatever is needed to make that fashion show a success.
That’s Milan. Next up is San Fran to find a husband for a finance executive and then we’ll go to Montreal to find a spy in a software company.
And all through those jobs Parker is in love with Hollywood superstar Skyler. Book #3 ended a bit shaky for our darlings, but everything is back on track … for now. The paparazzi, jealousy, exes, fears and both their jobs are not making it easy ….
What will happen to Parker & Skyler & the rest of International Guy in these 3 stories???
READ THE BOOKs TO FIND OUT!
Well, that was so much better than the first three books. OK, the first ones weren’t bad at all … We had to get used to those guys and everything they are and do and want and say. They’re still a bit frat-boy-ish in the way they talk and act. But they’re also very talented in what they do and I really love that.
And I love the Parker-Skyler love story. #SkyPark
All very adorable and erotic and frustrating! I hope it’s not going back and forth between those two all through the 12 books!!! I want them happy and together.
And I want the other 2 guys to find their HEAs too!
I can’t wait for the next book!
I really like how Audrey tells us a bit about every city we’re in. Missed that a bit this time.
I’m excited to see what will await us in the next stories!
Oh – a tiny thing I don’t love. What is it with all the HOW’S ABOUT??? I would understand it if one of the guys would use how’s about as the first words of a question (how’s about we don’t do that!), but others use it too! Is that a dialect from wherever Audrey is from? So very weird!! The whole talking thing is a bit weird in this book. They all talk weird!
INTERNATINAL GUY, VOL II was a great 2nd book in this series. Erotic, fun, frustrating, exciting, adorable. Run to your nearest amazon for your own Parker, Bogart & Royce – they will be sold out in no time!!! I just adore those guys! Even though they might deserve a few slaps here and there.
I am falling more in love with this series volume by volume! Parker and the International Guys go to three more new cities – Milan, San Francisco and Montreal. In each city, the International Guys help out a new client with a problem in either business or personal life. Parker “The Dream Guy” and his A-list celebrity girlfriend Skylar hit some road bumps in this volume and there is a tragedy that I didn’t see coming. These boys know how to pull at my heart-strings. I think my heart stopped a few times.
I will say it again if you loved Audrey’s Calendar Girls series you need to read this series!
With International Guy Vol 2, we follow Parker, Royce and Bo from a fashion show gig in Milan to a cyber investigation in Montreal, with an matchmaking interlude in San Francisco. Yes, there is a lot going in in this volume as the lines between work life and personal life continue to blur.
Of this grouping, the story line for Milan is definitely my favorite. The principles of IG are exercised as Parker helps a fashion designer with the models for his lingerie line. Here Parker shows us why his role as the Dream maker at International Guy stands out. I love that he’s all about boosting a woman’s confidence by pointing out the positives and Carlan so cleverly gives Parker the chops to design a fashion show with props to build on that vibe.
Mission accomplished Parker jets off to San Francisco, with partner Royce stepping off the plane and to the plate as IG’s resident matchmaker. What I loved about this story was the connection between client Rochelle and Royce and how this tested Parker’s mindset. Now I love Parker but he’s a bit of a hypocrite and Royce calls him out on it. Royce is a big boy, he knows what he’s doing. Ultimately Rochelle’s request for IGs to find her life partner is made better by Royce’s understanding of her “needs”.
Next, we follow the whole IG crew to Montreal where software entrepreneurs Alexis Stanton and her brother Kidd find their business under siege. The team comes up with a great plan to smoke out the mole who is handing over company secrets to the competitors. While this is in the works Parker is in the midst of a breakdown. That’s all I can call it. All rational thought is out the window as his newly found personal love life unravels. The drama is HIGH in this part of the story and at times Parkers’ lack of action unnerved me. He creates his own misery and struggles to find footing. I’ll admit he exhausted me, but obviously not in the way he normally exhausts his women.
This volume builds up the relationships between the IG staff and the work they do. I look forward to the next group of cities and seeing the team together again. 4 stars.
International Guy Volume 2 – Milan, San Francisco & Montreal is mind blowing. These stories have all the romance & heat I’ve come to love from Audrey Carlan but then there’s also the romance, the relationship building & the stories that pull you in & not let you go. Leaving you scratching & clawing for more.
In Milan, Sky & Parker are navigating through a new relationship with extenuating circumstances. She’s a movie star and he’s a world traveling businessman with unique cases/projects. All is going pretty good, though.
In San Francisco, Sky & Parker are still navigating their way in their long distance relationship but the new IG case has Roy & Parker at odds. Without trying to spoil too much, these brothers from another mother eventually work it out but reading how it all played out had me on eggshells. And then… Wham! Audrey Carlan hits Parker with a situation that had me screaming NOOOO at my Kindle.
In Montreal, it’s all just a mess. A big crazy, can’t stop reading mess. I’m frustrated, yelling at Parker & Sky in my head. I’m gasping at the way things go down, clutching my heart for everyone.
Audrey Carlan has done it again!! She’s put out another series that makes you feel everything & grips you by the balls. I can’t wait for the next installments to be available. The wait may kill me, though
Every novella and volume of this series keeps getting better! From learning to accept who you are and loving your body in Milan to appreciating what’s in front of you in San Francisco, every city, every novella explores a new concept. Ultimately, Parker, Bo and Ryce are searching for love in their own lives.
I like that now we’re getting deeper into the story of these 3 brothers-from-another-mother and their families, the families they make for themselves. Their community keeps them strong through the ups and down of love, their jobs, and everything that gets in their way.
International Guy is a whirl wind journey that I can’t wait to see where it takes us. The underlying and continuous story of Skyler and Parker pulls at my heartstrings and give me all the swoons. Just when I think I can put my kindle down for the night, I’m pulled right back in for another few hours of fun!
International Guy Volume 2 by Audrey Carlan. This collection contains the next 3 books in the series. We follow the guys to Milan, San Francisco and Montreal where they do what they do best. They are in the business of making other peoples dreams come true. This series is steamy and hot! I love this series. Audrey Carlan is wicked talented! I have been in love with her writing style since I devoured Calendar Girl. If you are a fan of the Calander Girl series this should be your next read!
From the brilliant mind of Audrey Carlan, comes another beautifully crafted instalment in the International Guy series that kept me glued to my kindle. House work and all those responsible adult things didn’t exist during the perfect hours I binge read all three of these novellas back to back and loved every. Damn. Second.
I adore the female characters, Skylar especially because she’s awesome and a total badass, and Wendy is an absolute sweetheart, they’re both such independent, strong women and that’s really important for book characters (it’s also something AC flawlessly executes with every book and one of the many reasons she’s an inspiration to me). But we also get to see more of Sofie which was awesome, I love seeing her development from Paris to now, it’s so heart warming!
And we’ve already established that the three IG men are completely swoon inducing and they make for an intensely sexy read! Parker, Bo and Royce are utter perfection and I’m left disappointed that they can’t be real. ALTHOUGH we see a much less flawlessly Parker in this volume which made him feel more three dimensional and real to me, and even though at times I was frustrated with him and cursing my kindle, it made for an even more gripping read.
But really AC? You’re ending Montreal like that? Really? How the hell do I wait for London?! That ending was CRUEL, CRUEL I TELL YOU. But seriously read this series, it’s addictive and captivating and the chemistry between Parker and Skylar is hot enough to make your kindle (or you) explode! So how’s about Volume 3 now yeah? Audrey. Volume 3? Please? Yeah, cool
I should get used to not being surprised at how well Audrey crafts a story! She continues to write these characters that you cannot help but want to get to know them more.
Parker Ellis is back for more in International Guy Vol. 2 and we get to see him travel to Milan, San Francisco, and Montreal this time.
Milan – T-Bone – Oh what a bonehead! He is introducing a new inclusive line of lingerie for every woman and has unfortunately caused some discord with his behavior. Parker is able to go in and realizes that these “everyday” women are uncomfortable and do not have the confidence to pull off the moves that the designer is asking for. Parker helps the women, one by one, to “Embrace your sexy”, and help T-Bone have a successful show.
While in Milan, we also get to see Parker and Skyler find their way through misunderstandings and issues from prior relationships. Skyler may have all of the money in the world and fame, but all she is wanting is to spend time with Parker and really see if they have what it takes to make their relationship work.
San Francisco – Rochelle is a powerhouse of a business woman looking for her perfect match and thinks that IG are just the guys to help her find him. Even on the plane flying out with Royce and Parker, I knew this would be a great story with some roller coaster action. Rochelle is everything you want to see in a female character – successful, strong-willed, quick witted, and confident. Royce is immediately enamored with Rochelle, but Parker has some reservations for his friend and that causes some tension between the guys.
While in San Fran, Skyler and Parker hit a major roadblock and left me very worried for them and their relationship. We all know that long distance creates issues that traditional relationships don’t always have, but can these two overcome this?
Montreal – Alexis (Lexie) – Lexie hires IG in the hopes that they can help her track down who is sharing trade secrets from within her company. Wendy gets to help out this time and use her computer know-how! Parker is still reeling from everything that happened with Skyler and is at a loss with their relationship. I felt completely immersed in what was going on and was gripping my kindle willing myself to read faster to know how this would turn out.
I cannot wait for IG Vol. 3!
Milan-
Another stellar installment of International Guy and Parker is just as delicious and charming as ever! My affection for him continues to simmer. I call dibs! I could just lick him all over! And Milan – gah – what I would give to visit and celebrate my Italian-ess!
I was incredibly excited to dive in to Milan after the way book 3 ended with Sky so unsure of herself and how she fit into Parkers life. I physically felt her insecurity and my heart broke a little for her. But rest assured, I am properly pieced back together after this juicy episode. Because – SkyPark! I love these two together. They are sexy and sweet. Both are finding their way and learning to navigate this new territory of relationships, jealousy, long distance plus the paparazzi. It’s fresh. Entertaining. All expertly written and paced!
Parker is off to help 12 regular ladies learn to model for a lingerie fashion show in Milan. The designer mistakenly thinks raunchy moves and barely there pieces empowers them. He misses his mark just slightly. However Parker comes to the rescue and recognizes right away that these ladies need confidence and class, not stripper moves that demean them. He goes to work one woman at a time helping them embrace their sexy. (I adore these little take aways from Audrey’s books. “Embrace your sexy” is Milan’s and those are powerful words to live by.) I love that these aren’t bony, thin supermodels. Instead they are wives, career professionals or moms. This! This I can relate to! We all need to love the body we’re in after all.
San Francisco-
I want to give Audrey Carlan ALL the STARS!
Oy my heart! Once again this series has not only kept me completely engaged but the journey and rollercoaster of emotions is everything any spectacular series needs. Only this talented author kicks things up like a thousand degrees.
In San Francisco Royce and Parker are hired to help Rochelle find a husband. She is professional, successful, wealthy, strong willed and beautiful. She has put all her time and energy into her business and hasn’t left much time to date or have romantic relationships. Royce feels an immediate attraction to Rochelle. He’s ready to find his soul mate and settle down. Parker sees things differently. Worries his friend is going to get hurt.
As these two International Guys help their client find compatible suitors and seek out who in her company is stealing – emotions run high, bonds of love and devotion become clear – Rochelle’s perfect match is revealed.
Will Royce find what he’s looking for? Will he and Parker butt heads?
In the mean time SkyPark continue their delicious long distance relationship. However once again, they endure hiccups along the way. Will these two make it work? Will they get the chance to admit their feelings to each other face to face?
You must read on to find out! This series just keeps getting better and better!
Montreal-
Another stellar installment of these delicious International Guys & Wendy who are busy at work once again. All perfectly paced, impeccably written and keeping me on the edge of my seat with anticipation!
This client has been undermined a big a way. She hires the big guns, IG, to come in and help her investigate. Lexie is brilliant with code and a beautiful bombshell making her the total package. She knows what she wants – Parker. However Parker is still raw from discovering Skylar has gone to see her ex. Given his past, he assumes the worst and is completely heartbroken.
Over the coarse of their investigation – there is a lot more action and some highly emotional suspense when the team is put in harms way. The way these characters have grown close and bonded together – truly like family. My heart was breaking while I was rooting for all of them.
Will Parker give Sky a chance to explain? Has their whirlwind romance crashed and burned? Will he resist the temptation that is his confident, sexy client? Ugh so many feels! I am wrung out in the best way!
This book was yet another wild ride! In this volume, the author manages to step up the drama and love. The story is full of twists and turns, many of them you can’t even see them coming until they slap you in the face! I would love to see more from Bo and Royce. At times I felt like Parker’s POV didn’t gmake their characters justice. I hope we get more of them in the next books!!
Even though I enjoyed Milan and San Francisco, Montreal is definitely my favorite of the three! A real roller coaster ride that kept me at the edge of my seat till the last page!
This volume has three books in one. With summer winding down, your life may have gotten a little busier and your reading time limited this would be a good choice. Plus you get to go places without leaving your chair but we don’t get to really do any sightseeing.
Our books are told from the point of view of Parker Ellis. He seems to be the man in charge of a business that is about helping women who may be looking for a man – think Millionaire Matchmaker. Or they need help with their business. The sad part with these three books is that I didn’t feel the adventure of being taken to someplace that I’d never been before. These stories were all about business but that could be because that’s where Parker’s head was at.
As I started the second book, San Francisco, I thought I was going to get to see one of the other owners, Royce Sterling, have a shot with a client. But having Parker’s point of view that doesn’t actually get shown. And it’s his relationship that you firs see develop in the previous volume, continues here. That includes all the ups and downs.
I loved getting to see more of Parker’s employee Wendy. Even knowing what Parker’s business is all about, I was glad to see that Wendy is more than fluff – she’s one smart cookie. Was glad that I had a chance to see her work her mojo and that her boss really appreciates her talent. With the Montreal book, I was not happy with the turn of events in Parker’s life – and the jury’s still out in how I feel about him period. The tipping point may have been the way he feels about Wendy – which becomes very evident as we get to the end of this third book (or the sixth book in the series). The author pleases me when I finally get a little peek into Skyler’s point of view.
Even though I don’t get to see the point of view of some of the other characters, I get enough that leaves me wanting to know where this series is going to take me next. It’s like a soap opera. You get hooked on the characters and the mystery and suspense that surround them. The only thing these stories don’t have is the music that usually plays at that moment. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in London.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.
In this installment of International Guy we find Parker vising Milan, San Fran, and Montreal. His business ethics are sometimes questionable when it comes to the women he’s working with. Though now his girlfriend, Hollywood A-lister Skylar Page, keeps him in check.
I’ve enjoyed reading Parker’s advice to the businesses he’s working with in these stories. He acts impulsively though in both business and personal. Doesn’t tend to work out as well for him personally. So you’ll see a bit of drama in this round of International Guy.
It’ll be up to Parker to pull his head out his behind in the next set of stories…which I’m looking forward to reading as well.
Holy moly!!!! Volume 2 did not disappoint!!! We catch up with Parker, Royce and Bogart in Milan, San Francisco and Montreal. Milan sees Parker and Bogart helping models while Parker deals with a problem in his personal life with Skylar. San Francisco has more of Royce taking an active role and having his heart at risk when they go to help a lady find a man to marry. And in Montreal, they are trying to find someone who keeps spilling the secrets of a successful corporate business to their competition. I would have to say my favorite of this volume was San Francisco just like Paris was my favorite of Volume 1. I won’t post spoilers here but I will say that this one is just as much of a page turner as Volume 1 and all the new characters are just as amazing as the men of IG. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
If any series deserves more than 5 Stars it’s International Guy with every book in these sets you are taken to whole different level your emotions are all over the place because these books are full of love, passion, drama, angst and a fair few twists and turns.

San Francisco gives us the change to get to know Royce when the gang head off to do some matchmaking. There are a few twists and turns in this episode and this where we see Parker at his best dealing with a client whilst trying to deal with issues of his own, his soulmate needs him and he needs to be there for her. This instalment left me in tears another emotion I wasn’t expecting.
Montreal is where we see Parker dealing with his own emotions whilst all the guys need to travel overseas to help a cyber tech company this job needs all their minds and concentration but that’s not easy when your mind is back in the States. Wow what can I say about the ending of this one without giving too much away apart from I can’t wait for the next instalment in this series.
Audrey Carlan is a very talented writer she writes a beautiful love story and she is not afraid to show everyone’s emotions she covers trust issues as well as confident issues and along the way there is plenty of banter that will make you smile to go with the tears you will shed at some point. This series has the perfect mix of love, passion and humour and you do need to read it.
