I would give this 10 stars if I could. Audrey has really out done herself with this sizzling new series!
Wow I totally loved International Guy . To start with The main owner of IG incorporated is Parker Ellis better known as ( the Dream maker ) and he is amazing!!!! His Partners are Bogart (Bo) Montgomery also known as ( the Love Maker ) and this man knows more about Fashion/ Hair / makeup and shoes than any man should. And then there’s Royce Sterling better known as ( the Money Maker ) and this guy knows how to keep the money flowing.
And then there is the clients… in Paris there’s Sophie Rolland , and she’s one of a kind . And will definitely blow you away . And I absolutely loved her Quote… Friendship is like a bank account, we both make equal deposits and withdrawals to keep the account from going under and over . We are friends for Life .
And then came New York. Where Parker meets the women he’s admired for years and her name is Skyler Paige. And of course Parker just falls all over himself to be her ( well let’s just say muse ) you will love this one also .
And then there’s Copenhagen. OMGoodness , this one was my favorite. And I have to admit I definitely shed some tears . Audrey Carlan you blew these 3 books out of the water BIG TIME
I’m not going to rewrite the synopsis and am going to jump straight to the good parts.
1. Paris
I enjoyed Paris and from the beginning knew right where it was headed. Or so I thought! It went down the line of falling in love but curved off right at the very end but ended satisfactorily between Parker and Sophie. I loved how the fine arts were added and appreciated that Parker was not only a lover of women but also loved the finer things, such as art at the Louvre. I admire the way he treats a woman like she is the most special person in the room.
2. New York
I enjoyed this part. Parker and Skyler were right on track, and their chemistry was in your face. I could feel the longing and dread when they had to part ways and the draw they had for each other. Again, Parker is perfect at making a woman feel like she is his world.
3. Copenhagen
I really liked this one. Parker Ellis heads to Denmark to assist a royal family with their royal pain in the butt, namely their daughter, Christina. Princess Christina is a bit on the wild side, and no one has been able to get to the bottom of why. Hence the reason Parker has been brought onto the scene. He has to figure out what is causing it and fix it or the royal family will be disgraced.
This volume ends with a cliffhanger as to Skylar and Parker’s future.
The only negative I really have is the instant love Parker falls in with Sophie and Skylar. Skylar is his dream fantasy girl so I can see the lust but it was more than that from the second he walked into her flat.
International Guys, Volume One takes us on a journey to Paris, New York and Copenhagen with Parker, Royce and Bo. These three men really know how to get the the heart of their clients issues!
Paris is the journey of Sophie who has just inherited her family company and needs a little help from IG. Each man steps up to the plate to give Sophie the confidence boost she needs all the while Parker tries to keep in mind that she’s a client and tries to avoid slipping into her bed 😉
New York is actress Skyler who is in desperate need of Parker’s help and he desperately needs to stay away from her as she’s his all time celebrity crush. While building her self esteem, it sure does feel like Parker’s building a relationship as well!
Copenhagen is Parker’s chance to help Princess Christina come to terms with exactly why she doesn’t want to marry the love of her life and why she’s throwing herself to the media. The wild child needs to be tamed and Parker’s the man for the job.
This is the first time I’ve read Audrey Carlan and I absolutely loved these books! Each story was short and sweet, there was backstory to Parker’s life prior to IG, how he met Royce and Bo and most importantly, what woman did him wrong. I loved the banter, the friendship and family, and definitely the smoking hot sex scenes! I also enjoyed how the author threw in a few other authors into the storyline 😉 Most importantly, I loved how each story was about building these women up, giving them back their lives and teaching them the self confidence to keep on moving through this crazy thing we call life!
So….I’m for me this book started out kinda rough. I have read previous books by this author and loved them but this series started out kinda pointless. I get what was happening with the business side and that was great but it was the personal stuff I had a problem with, especially when business and pleasure started mixing.
Parker, Bo and Royce own International Guy and they have unorthodox ways of helping high profile clients with whatever they are having difficulty with. However this trio is a bit immature and tacky… being cocky is one thing but I feel like there was less cocky and more demeaning.
The woman in each of these books are strong women but come off as small and weak. This being said I lived how we were able to witness their transformation into the woman I knew they had hiding.
I am looking forward to seeing what else is in store for these guys.

Spoiler Free Review For Audrey Carlan’s International Guy Vol 1:
Parker, Bogart and Royce, oh my!!! International Guy is a company founded by 3 “gentlemen”, each with their own specialties, to help women with anything that they need no matter how big or small a job as long as it doesn’t involve breaking rules or laws. This volume contains the first 3 stories in the series and oh man…..they are worth the read. Steamy, yes but a bit teary at times. Parker is the main guy but Bogart and Royce have their parts to play. I give this 4 stars but read for yourself and see what you make of them.
International Guy by Audrey Carlan is a series of 12 novellas all set in the world of Parker and his friends.
Parker Ellis and his best friends Bo – Bogart and Roy- Royce are the owner of International Guy Inc., a unique company. They´re called Dreammaker, Lovemaker and Moneymaker with reason. And their first story leads to Paris.
Sophie is a the heiress of a perfume empire and she needs a little help in some departements. And Parker and the other men are too happy to help her gain confidence and self-esteem.
International Guy : Paris is a witty and fun novella, the perfect summer read. The characters are great and I love the writing and the story. I give 4 sweet stars.

Skyler Paige is a A-List Hollywood actress who lost her touch. With experience and love Parker helps her find herself again. And Parker himself fell for the beauty, only he´s deep in denial.
International Guy: New York is my favorite read in this series. The characters are “honest” and the writing, like always by Audrey Carlan is exquisite. I give 5 stars.

Princess Christina Kaarsberg is a wild child and refuses to marry the future king, crown prince Sven. Trapped in protocol and society she wants to step back. But Sven loves her deeply and when Parker gets hired to shed light on the reasons why Christina acts like a spoiled brat, some truths and secrets come to live.
Inbternational Guy: Copenhagen and I we didn´t really click. I couldn´t get a connection with the danish royals. While Parker and his merry men normally are very easioly to connect to, this time they stubbornly refused to bond with me. I give 3,5 stars.
All in all, International Guy is a great series with fantastic stories and characters I loved, excellent written by a outstanding author, I give 4,5 stars.
This book is broken down into three parts. If you’re a very busy person and have only a little time to get your reading fix in than this would be a good choice. Plus you get to go places without leaving your chair. The sad part is that I’m not there to go on their journeys so I will have to rely on the characters to make me feel like I’m there with them.
One way to do that is like in the first book where we get to travel to Paris. The man that’s acting as our guide, Parker Ellis, is needed to help Sophie Rolland. As a native she of course speaks French and our author includes words and phrases that you may or may not understand. I didn’t mind that because it did its job by having me looking forward to the possibility of travel. What I liked best about her story though was how she blossomed into a woman who successfully runs a business.
As the next story begins we’re back at the office as Parker meets his newest employee Wendy Bannerman. I have to say that I enjoyed meeting her and was left wanting to read more about her. Then Parker’s off again and this time he takes us to New York. Can you imagine having a job where you can use your life skills to help others? But for Parker they always seem to be women – and yes that means that sometimes lines get blurred. This time his job is to help Skylar Paige get past her life crisis and to rediscover herself. What I found sad about this story is how much physical appearance rules her life. It’s kind of a reminder how much actors and actresses go through just so we can enjoy their work.
Our last stop in our international travel is to Copenhagen where we get to meet royalty. But Parker starts off not being able to forget a woman and that was a surprise – especially since he seems to be a hound dog. Maybe that’s part of his pull for us – to see if he grows up. In this story we get some of his personal background and that was an interesting surprise. Not all this story is about Parker though. In this story we are introduced to Christina Kaarsberg. Of the three stories, this seemed the most challenging. Here’s another story where the language is confusing but it helps to transport me to this latest country. But he may have his work cut out for him in this one.
Something that was interesting about this set is that even though these three stories are told from Parker’s point of view, the author allows us to get to hear one of the women. If you want to know who that woman is then you’ll just have to get this volume. This set was a good choice for me since I hadn’t read the books individually. It did leave me curious about three things. One, has Parker changed. Two, will I get to see more of his partners. Three, what country will I be visiting next. My chair and I are ready.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Paris-This new series has a lot of promise. I enjoyed book one, where the guys go to Paris and help Sophie transform and prepare herself to take over her dad’s business. Paris is the city of love, and there is romance stirring between Sophie and one of the guys, Parker. But it sounds like the other two guys are quite the catch as well. It all ends well and on to the next assignment.
I’m curious to see as the series goes on, if it will solely focus on Parker or some books about his partners. For now it feels like an adventure, and I’m ready to be taken along to each destination.
New York-Book two in the series, and this one has me thinking Parker may have met the one? It’s still a little early for all that and he has a business to run, so we will see.
Actress Skyler Paige needs his help, and they have fireworks together from the beginning. Who says you can’t mix business and pleasure? I mean we are all adults here. He’s crushed on her as a celeb for years though, and I see a few things that could trip them up in the future? Ah well. On to the next adventure!
Copenhagen-These guys can turn any situation around! This time it’s with a princess. No romance for Parker, so I guess I was right that there will be more of him with the actress. How much more, I don’t know but I’m hopeful. Mostly enjoying the adventure element to this all. Helping out royalty- treating them just like anyone else. I mean what a unique little job these guys have created for themselves. I don’t have book four yet and I wouldn’t quite say this one left in a cliffhanger, but definitely with some worries as to Parker’s eventual happy ever after.
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.
International Guy is a new series by Author Audrey Carlan. It features Parker Ellis who owns a company titled International Guy. They offer a service of helping women catch their ideal man. This series is like a cross between Carlan’s Calendar Girl and Rachel Van Dyken’s Wingman, Inc series.
I enjoyed reading this set of stories. Seeing Parker in his element and learning more about the women who’ve hired him and his two friends to help teach them what’s needed to land their man. He becomes invested in Paris with their first client. Not “in love” vested but close friends vested. It’s when he gets home to NY that he will be tripped up to fall for a client – his favorite actress. Then he jets off to Copenhagen to help a Danish Princess. There’s still a tug to NYC though…which should be interesting to see how this works out as Parker travels the world helping women find love!
If you like to learn about new places; hear a mans opinion about what a woman should do in their dating life, and see if Parker will ever fall in love – this series is for you!
International Guy is another great book by Audrey Carlan. If you loved her Calendar Girl series, you will love these books. It is easy to love Parker, Royce and Bo and their ability to solve “unique problems”. This was a great start to the series and now I’m counting the days until the next book is released. Great summer read!
“Part of life is taking the hits and learning how to live with the scars left behind.”
WOW!! I. LOVE. INTERNATIONAL. GUY! The author is starting this series out with a BANG! All of the first three installments all excellent reads! I was hanging on every word, and totally hooked on every single character! Each book had a uniquely different plot but was able to still link itself together. Parker, Bo, and Royce are seriously the perfect trio! I won’t lie and say I haven’t already picked my favorite of the guys because I totally have. I can’t wait to see more action from Bo and Royce, I have the feeling my favorite could easily change. Each guy has a addicting personality, and over the top banter. And well their skills are definitely impressive and unique. Who would have thought the jobs dream maker, money maker and love maker would be so intriguing. It’s jobs I wouldn’t have thought of but definitely work well together. I also can’t wait to get to know Wendy better. They could not have picked a more fitting assistant. She is a spit fire that immediately fit right in with the guys! I LOVE each book is in a different place. The traveling the guys do definitely makes the books that much more interesting and fun. This series is one journey I absolutely can NOT wait to take! The next installment is not getting here fast enough! If I had one thing I’m on the fence over is I hope Parker isn’t rushing into things with a certain heroine because honestly I am really loving his no obligation free spirit. I would hate to see his relationship with a character over shadow his choices in the future stories to come.
“You are golden, baby. Look at you. Spread out before me like the rarest treasure. Time to show you what you’re worth.”
Paris
Sophie is still my favorite heroine so far! Something about her just hooked me from the start! Her character was easy to relate too, and extremely laid back! I loved her accent and knack for mixing up her words. I loved she was confident enough to show her insecurities, but was determined enough to face them head on. Sophies character truly did blossom and grow under International Guys care. Her development was no easy task but she never wavered and remained strong. Parker and Sophie was seriously hot together. Their chemistry definitely kept things interesting. I am happy Parker and her ended on such good terms as friends that we will hopefully be seeing more of her character throughout the story!
“Skyler isn’t glitz and glam. She’s peaches and cream. Hot apple pie on a cool, breezy day. Jeans and a tank . Baseball and hotdogs. What she is not is limos and red carpets, fashion and gems. It’s not her ; nor does she want that to be her.”
New York
Skyler was one heroine I wasn’t sure how to take at first. She came across a bit diva in the expert before her story. However I was excited for her story as much as Parker talked about her during the first book. I quickly warmed up to her character once we really got to know the true Skyler Paige. What I once took for diva was actually just fear and insecurities. She had lost her way and you couldn’t help but feel sad for for her situation. I LOVED watching her discover the women that lost her shine behind the sparkle of Hollywood. Skyler definitely took you on a wild ride to find not only her muse, but herself. HOLY CHEMISTRY! Parker and Skyler held nothing back in that department. They definitely kept your kindle pages HOT! I am on pins and needles wondering where these two will take us next!
“I don’t want average, Mr. Ellis. I want extraordinary, and my Christina is that. Extraordinary.”
Copenhagen
Princess Christina was the most head strong heroine yet! Parker had his work cut out for him taming this Princess! She was NOT going to make his job easy, and Parker had a lot of pieces to find before solving the overall puzzle that is Christina. I seriously LOVED everything about her character! She was a total spit fire, who was lost under the pressure of the monarchy. My heart hurt for her so many times during her story. Loss and pain definitely swirled around these characters. I’m not going to lie, I needed my Kleenex a few times. Out of all the stories thus far I think she needed International Guy most. Christina’s path to discovery was by no means easy. It was a lot of walls being broken, and fears being over come. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON SVEN! *SWOONS*
*5 STARS*
Well earned to the author for a absolutely explosive start to the International Guy series. It is going to be a adventurously wild ride of places, stories, and characters and well I am buckled in for the ride!
Read For Author:
Some of Audrey Carlan’s best work to date. Each of her Series is phenomenal but, I loved the humor, the sexy and the way the men of Internationa Guy love and respect women. Parker, Bo, and Royce make up International Guy they started right out of Havard – they proved unique and unusual services to their Clientele. Parker is the face of the Company – he is the DreamMaker, Bo is the one who can dress a woman, do her make up, change her appearance a make her feel like a million dollars – he’s the LoveMaker and Royce is the Money man he can work his magic with finances – he is the MoneyMaker. These guys rock there is humor, camaraderie and a bond like brothers.
The first three books in this Series takes you on a journey through Paris, NewYork, and Copenhagen.
This book is so must read. I know you will enjoy it and the adventures of Parker Ellis and his Business Buddies.
Parker, Bo and Royce start International Guy Inc as college. The 3 friends create a company that caters to wealthy woman around the world. Parker is the Dream Maker and he has a knack for reading woman and figuring out what is really going on in their mind. Bo is the Love Maker and style guru. Royce is the Money Maker and numbers cruncher. The 3 men will tackle any job as long as it is legal and just might possibly end up between the sheets with a client or two. This is the first 3 Novellas in the series. Three separate stories but some of the characters besides the boys do cross over.
I love the author’s writing style. Audrey grabs you from the beginning and keeps you wanting to read right up to the last page. She throws in a few cliffhangers to keep the reader wanting more. Love that the problem solving is often more about empowering the woman, making her feel beautiful and strong. The boys may be playboys but they are all about treating women right. If you are looking for a fun, sexy read I recommend this series. Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for sharing this book in exchange for my honest review.
Intro – Meet the International Guys – Parker, Royce and Bo! They are dream makers that live up the monikers. They truly delve into the needs of the clients to get to root and lead them with their truest hearts desires.
Paris – Parker comes to help Sophie Rolland. When Parker works his IG mojo and deduces she is needs more than just help with her family company he sets to work. Sophie has a confidence problem which is the root of her problems and Parker is just the man to help her find her strength. As he heats her up he also, builds her up!
New York – This time we join Parker as he come to help actress Skyler Lumpkin. Parker’s mission if he chooses to accept this time is to help the lost Skyler find her zeal for acting again. Parker shows Skyler they all have roles to play and while they heat the sheets she heats up the screen.
Copenhagen – It’s time for Parker to brush up on his royal etiquette when he’s called to help Princess Christina at her mothers, Princess Mary’s, behest. Christina is not your typical story of royal woes, she has true sadness and tragedy that has lead to her current problems. Parker pulls no punches as he helps her find her way to the HEA she so richly deserves.
Do not forget there will be several more books coming in this trip around the globe and Parker is in no way done!
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book
3 hot guys moving from city to city giving women confidence making them feel powerful in their own skin and reaching their full potential….. Parker, Bogart and Royce formed The International Guy right out of college never realising how successful it would be become and now their services are requested at all points of the world. Each guy has a very different talent wether it be showing a girl how to dress as a powerful woman or teaching a woman to read a spreadsheet they know it all but what also makes these guys so successful is their friendship, loyalty and understanding of each other strong points as well as sharing every conversation and experience they have with each other…..
I loved the friendships these guys formed with not only each other but also with some of their clients especially Parker and Sophie who we meet in book 1 Paris. Each guy may start out not looking for anything further than a one night stand but each will meet their match and along the way we get some great banter. This book is very different to any book I have ever read and for me that says a lot for how talented Audrey Carlin is, to come up with a story that’s not been done before in this day and age is hard. I loved it and can’t wait for more.

“Philosophers say everyone on earth has a gift, something unique to them. My gift . . . I understand women.”
I have really enjoyed many books by Audrey, but I think this series is going to jump towards the top of the list. What a lighthearted, easy read filled with humor, heart tugging moments, friendships and internal struggles.
“Part of life is taking the hits and learning how to live with the scars left behind.”
There is the perfect mix of alpha, friendship, lust, hope, trust, protector, culture, humor, chemistry and suspense sprinkled through these books.
“Friendships are like a bank account. We both make equal deposits and withdrawals to keep the account from going under or over.
I was so lost in the words while traveling through these different countries that I couldn’t believe I had read through the first 3 books in one sitting. I just couldn’t get enough of The International Guy. Milan is up next and I can’t wait to see how the journey continues…
“Live your truth.”
4.5 Stars
Parker, Bogart and Royce founded their International Guy company right after college. It’s a company to help women reach their full potential. Like for example the current huge client in the first story: Paris. Sophie is the heiress of a french perfume company. She inherited her dad’s company, billions of Euro and lots of problems. But she only wants to create perfumes. She doesn’t care about the business side of things, or how she dresses. That’s where our three guys come in. They’ll help her look sexy and confident in front of her board members. And they help her with so much more.
Parker is especially intrigued by the pretty girl.
But he’s also kind of in love with supermodel and A-list actress Skyler. From afar. Like in posters and movies.
Parker is a bit of a man whore. And why not? He has this amazing job traveling the world, meeting amazing women. Why not have fun with each and every one of them?
But will he and the other three guys find their Happily Ever Afters in one of those 12 cities??
READ THE BOOKs TO FIND OUT!
Well, that was interesting.
I loved Audrey’s Calendar Girl series, and I thought this would be kind of the same. BUT with the Calendar Girl – we kinda immediately knew who her forever ever after guy would be. This is not really the case here. Well, it kind of is …. I hope Parker’s happy end will be with Skyler, but we don’t yet know in the first of the three stories.
The fact that Parker starts off as a bit of a manwhore was not really my thing. I want a romance novel to have a heroine and a hero. And here we have those three guys and endless women in 12 cities.
BUT, don’t worry, it’s not going to be like that in every story/city!
I really enjoyed reading all three city-stories. It was just the first one that made me think I might hate this series – even though the story was adorable too. But I just didn’t want Parker to be this manwhore-sleeping-with-every-client person. Which he is not!
It was interesting to get to know the three guys a bit in those three stories. I like them. They’re funny and sexy and sweet and they’re still acting a bit like frat boys. I love how they meet at Parker’s dad’s pub all the time.
I could really imagine this to be a netflix show. Lots of eye candy and beautiful cities around the world! GIMMEE!!!!!
I will definitely be reading the rest of the books – I need to know how everything will end for those three guys! And I really hope that once Parker is in a halfway serious relationship after book #2, that he won’t man-whore his way across the globe anymore. But we won’t know until we get to read the next 9 stories! But I really think he found his person in the 2nd story!
I also like how Audrey tells us a bit about every city we’re in.
I’m excited to see what will await us in the next stories!
INTERNATINAL GUY, VOL I was a really sexy, funny and interesting start into this new series. I’m excited to see where Audrey will take us with those guys in the next 9 stories – and not just geographically! Run to your nearest amazon asap for your own Parker, Bogart & Royce – they will be sold out in no time!!!
***I received an ebook copy from the publisher at no cost***
I can always count on Carlan to deliver a story that’s both captivating and sexy as ever. The first volume of International Guy books is both of those things.
The first three books take us to Paris, New York, and Copenhagen. Parker is the man of the hour in all the books, and it was fun to see him have all these sexy and scandalous experiences around the globe.
I love the banter between the guys in the books. They have their bromances going on and all that fun stuff. I loved that the women in the stories were clients of Parker. I love the flirtation, the coyness, and the insanely hot between-the-sheets action that goes on.
I think my favorite guy in the books is Bo. He’s hilarious and his personality is perfect.
I liked Carlan’s Calendar Girl series and I’m loving International Guy too. If you’re looking for books with great characters that are hot and fun, this is the series for you.
Four stars to these novels!
