I’ve come to anxiously await each new installment of International guy. There are so many stories interwoven in this series and so many wonderful characters. The story line is thrilling -with love, romance, mystery, intrigue and steamy scenes, that just might melt your Kindle! Another masterpiece by Ms. Carlan.
4.5 Stars
Back with our darlings from International Guy.
On the last job things got a bit dangerous. Wendy got shot! And Parker thought Skyler had cheated on him.
And that’s where we start with the London Book.
Wendy’s still not woken up from her surgeries and Parker and Skyler are still not over the missing trust issue in their relationship. BUT, they’re working on it, and the new job needs both of them to be in London. A famous author lost her muse and she needs to finish this book sequel asap!
Story 2 will take us Berlin for a last-minute ad campaign for a car company.
This story will bring back someone from Wendy’s fiancé Mick’s past.
And in the last book we’re in Washington, D.C. for some dangerous political case about a cosmetics company and animal testing! … and for that we need to hire a lawyer for IG – and she might have a past with our boy Royce!
And during all those stories Skyler and Parker are getting slightly creepy/threatening texts!
Who’s the new stalker? And is he/she dangerous???
Well, that was really exciting and sweet and funny.
I really like these stories.
You have to get used to the guys and the writing and the happenings in the books. But once you get to know them all – it’s a really great world to read about!
I adored the stories. London was amazing. The whole author-thing. The sightseeing. Perfect!
Berlin was cool too. I loved how much Wendy and her guy Mack are involved in the stories. And I loved that we finally got to meet Parker’s military brother Paul and his new love!
Washington was more serious and dangerous and heartbreaking!
The stalker texting them all through those three books was very interesting too! We still don’t know who it is – the next books will be very exciting!
I can’t wait!
I’m still not completely in love with some of Audrey’s writing style. All characters talk way too formal for my tastes. And what’s with calling all love interests and partners MATE? Sounds like a shapeshifter romance! BUT I really enjoyed these 3 stories! Those 3 guys are just adorable and hilarious! I really hope we’ll get that happy end for all of them by the end of the 12th story!
INTERNATINAL GUY, VOL III was another great book in this series. Sexy, funny, exciting & intersting & mysterious & adorable. Run to your nearest amazon for your own Parker, Bo & Royce & Mack & Paul … – they will be sold out in no time!!! I just adore all of those guys!
Audrey Carlan knows how to meep me invested in her characters and Volume 3 is no exception.
In London, my heart was broken and I didn’t know how or when Audrey was going to put it back together again. She left us all wondering where this series was going to go and we were all pretty shaken up after the last book. We got some much needed answers that I could have screamed at her for making me wait for…who am I kidding? I did. Of course she makes it worth the wait, but more drama also unfolds. London is sweet and endearing, but is also spicy and hot…like panty melting hot. You will swoon, laugh, sigh and be giddy as friends and lovers come together in a perfect blend of harmony that only Audrey Carlan can deliver.
In Berlin, Audrey takes us on an exciting and surprising ride. Holy hotness when all the guys come together to work in the same city. When the entire team gets together it’s fantastic. They end up helping a woman who shakes up the IG family and hurts a couple we truly care about. New friendships are strengthened and love grows by leaps and bounds. Someone has an amazing secret and you will also find out about some major heartbreak. Don’t get me started about the crazy text messages as we try to figure out who is sending them. This installment is electric and enticing and keeps Audrey racing to the finish line ahead of the pack.
In Washington, D.C. the twists and turns continue and keep us investigating everyone and everything as drama exudes from everywhere regarding this stalker. These crazy letters and this new guy and his bat shit crazy ways keep us guessing. Then there’s the girl who hurt one of our favorite IG men years ago and suddenly she is back in the fold helping the team. Audrey tackles a big issue in this installment that isn’t pretty, but the way blackmail, corruption, and dirty truths unfold show what a marvelous storyteller she is. The steamy scenes between Parker and Sky will melt your kindle as plans for their future are being made. My heart is still giddy thinking about it.
Every book Ms. Carlan writes reminds me of the value of life and love and friendship. This story solidifies that fact even more than ever before. This team of people is incredible and we should all be so lucky to have our own tribe like this to enhance our lives. Every book she writes teaches me something I didn’t realize I needed at that point in my life and this volume is no exception. This just shows again what a fantastic story teller Carlan is. Audrey this installment proves that risk taking is important and as an author, you aren’t afraid to shake things up for the greater good and that’s how masterpieces are written.
Love Parker and Skyler. Love the whole crew really. Wendy is hilarious especially her banter with Bo. So glad she recovered well and back with her family.
Can’t wait for the next in the series.
I love how no book in this series is the same. The guys (and ladies) of IG do their jobs, and do it well. I like getting to see a bit of their personal lives, and am enjoying reading about Parker and Skyler’s relationship. It’s fun to get to revisit old faces and get to meet new ones. The DC story was a heartbreaker, but it was told so well. Can’t wait to read more!
This might be my favorite in the series so far! I absolutely adore how each experience is so unique, yet all interconnected as the characters delve deeper into not only their clients’ issues, but their own!
The IG team continues their adventures in London, Berlin and Washington, D.C. Oh….what lies within each city will blow your socks off.
~London~
When a world announced author is having a writers block who does her agent call….. the IG team. Author Geneva James has reached her writers funk. She needs to be inspired and reminded why her top selling trilogy is on top. This time Parker is accompanied by Skyler as they set their eyes on helping Skyler’s all time favorite author out of her funk. So off to London they go. When Geneva sets eyes on Skyler she can’t believe her muse is there in flesh and blood. Parker and Skyler are determined to help Geneva and there’s no limits to what they will do help. Oh and we can’t forget that Bo too has BIG PART in helping Geneva get out of her funk. I wouldn’t mind a little bit of that!
Parker and Skyler have finally reunited, bonding and reconnecting after weeks apart. Emotions run high and true feelings and expectations for their future comes tumbling out. Parker comes to terms that his past can not dictate his future and that he needs to trust his heart, and that his past relationship is not the same as his future one. Once Parker comes to terms with it and allows his feelings to break through his walls he’s built around his heart… WOW what beauty that is revealed.
London was refreshing and I am thrilled that Parker and Skyler have once again found their footing and are walking along side one another in harmony and feeding each others souls.
~FEED YOUR SOUL~
~Berlin~
Parker and the guys are called to Berlin to help out Monika Schmidt’s campaign to sell cars around the world. With the help of Mick’s advertising company, Parker knows that this campaign will be be a hit. However there is a bit of a snag in Parker’s plan when he finds out that Monika and Mick share a shaky past, one that could put his relationship and friendship with Mick and Wendy on the line. Can Parker deliver what the client wants without jeopardizing his friendship? In the end the IG team once again knocks it out of the park thanks to Mick’s genius advertisement team and Roy, Bo and Parker’s FULL BODY involvement in the advertisement.
While dealing with the campaign dilemma Parker is overwhelmed and extremely happy to hear from his brother Paul whose been MIA while serving in the army. Paul reveals a secret that surprises Parker at first, but accepts full heartedly. Then there are the texts from the unknown stalker who keeps terrorizing Parker and Skyler. As they start to get more threatening and unsteady, Parker and Skyler fear for her safety. Berlin was full of surprises and acceptance. I love how friendships grew and strengthened and not allowing the past to dictate ones future. Berlin was definitely braving the ride.
~BRAVE THE RIDE~
~Washington, D.C.~
Whoever said politics is a dirty business knew what they were talking about. The IG team is off to Washington, D.C. to help out a pharmaceutical company that wants a bill passed that will help them out with their future endeavors. Roy and Parker’s friendship is once again on shaky ground when it is revealed to Roy that their new council is non-other than the ex that broke his heart. Some of Kendra’s secrets are revealed alluding that her breakup with Roy wasn’t an easy decision or one she wanted but had to do peeking Parker’s curiosity even more. Kendra wanting to keep her past in the past, shoots down Parker’s questions and asks that he respects her privacy. However Parker knows there is more to Roy and Kendra’s breakup. Could there be a chance for Roy and Kendra?
~BEAUTY LIES WITHIN~
Audrey Carlan never stops amazing me with her words and the compassion of her characters. The way she tells their story is breathtaking and magical. She also has this ability to bring to light social issues that plague our world in a respectful and attentive way.
International Guy Volume 3 by Audry Carlan. This collection contains the next three books in the series London, Berlin and Washington DC. These guys are in the business of making other peoples dreams come true. With every new installment of this series I become me hooked. It is steamy hot and full of excitement. Audrey Carlan is one of my go to authors because she never disappoints. The Calendar Girl Series will always be my fav but the Internation Guy Series is a very close second. I can’t wait to see where these boys take me next!
London Book 7-
In this London edition *sighs* Parker and Sky finally make their peace and my poor broken soul gets a respite from the anguish Audrey Carlan’s words evoked. I have been is a state of suspended broken heartedness since Montreal. Gah I had faith these two would find their way back, it was a gut wrenching wait though.
Parker is due in London for a client. Sky ends up along on the trip – what an adventure. Author Geneva James (I have a hunch who this character was based off of eeep) needs some inspiration and Parker is the man for the job. Sky is a huge fan of Geneva’s and vice versa. The fangirling was completely relatable. These characters are amazing and well written as always. I am dying to write all the fantastic details but they’re spoilers gah!
Park & Sky not only work on their issues, but build a stronger more unshakable bond then ever. It’s so beautifully written. Feels all so real. Love every moment. And the best part is how Parker & Sky actually help inspire Geneva’s story. Phenomenal and beautiful. Bo arrives to lend his photographic and sensual talents which of course kicks things up a notch on the heavy and hotness scale. So entertaining and steamy! (Fans self) Love, love, love!
I’m diving in to book 8 next and excited to see what Berlin brings.
Berlin Book 8-
Mmmm another stellar story in this series. All impeccably written with the humor and love I’ve come to adore from Audrey.
Parker, Roy and Bo are all off to Berlin to help an auto company launch their line of environmentally friendly vehicles. Feeling in over his head, Parker calls in a favor from Mick, Wendy’s very protective and possessive fiancé. Only there’s a complication, a conflict between IG’s client, Monika, and Mick. As the story unfolds we get some great insight into Wendy and Mick’s relationship, his past and most epically – their well thought out plans for their future. Will Monika come between Mick & Wendy or will Wendy put her in her place? Ha ha based on her spit fire tendencies I think you can make an educated guess what Wendy might do or say.
We get a surprise visit from Parker’s brother Paul. A heartwarming time with all of the family, both blood and not, together in one place. It was fantastic. Entertaining. All the quick witty banter, steaminess between Park & Sky and of course all the ball busting these guys can throw at each other.
The vague anonymous text messages and random mail have Parker and Nate on high alert. This situation and Sky’s safety are heating up. Who is the mystery stalker? I am even worried for them. Nate & Rachel are bad asses but have their work cut out for them as this saga continues. I have a theory on who it is but I’ll read along and let it out play out. Time will tell!
Washington DC Book 9-
My oh my how things are heating up on all fronts in this gripping installment. I have loved every one of these novellas in this series. Each one bringing a different topic – a different focus. A lesson and milestone in each and every adventure. In Washington DC -whistles- our resident Hottie author Audrey Carlan kicked everything up a notch!
More intensity. This time ethics and moral dilemmas come in to play. More action from each of our 3 International Guys themselves. This is a recipe for a fast paced, action packed, crazy entertaining story that I just couldn’t put down!
Come along for the wild ride and discover for yourself the delicious love story between Parker and his dream girl Sky. They are weaving their way in to my soul – absolutely adore these two characters and the insane connection growing stronger every day despite the obstacles life has thrown their way. Cannot wait to read what is in store for this entire cast next.
International Guy Volume 3 – London, Berlin & Washington D.C. is incredible. These stories have all the romance & heat I’ve come to love from Audrey Carlan but then there’s also the romance, the relationship building & the stories that pull you in & not let you go.
International Guy will be in London for this case to help a famous romance author, Geneva James, find her mojo. She’s experiencing writers block & needs to complete her A-Lister series. They will try to work the magic and help her find her muse. You HAVE to read the books. No really, you HAVE to read the books. Audrey has me just as wound up as I was with her CG series. This series is a journey. Once again I’m in love with all the characters. If you’ve followed along so far you know Montreal left IG in turmoil. There will be some healing but also heartaches & a new antagonist. I’m left on the edge of my seat for more sooo Berlin here I come.
International Guy is on their way to Berlin to help OhM Motors with the advertising campaign for their new vehicle line. IG is gonna need some outside help from a friend to get through this one. We learn more about Mick, Wendy’s fiancé. I like him and the part he plays in Wendy’s life as well as what he brings to the story. Parker & Skylar are moving toward the future together but there’s trouble brewing for them. Something that could put their safety’s at risk. We also meet Parker’s brother, Paul. Family, blood & chosen, is everything to the guys of IG so I’m hoping we’ll see more of him in the future & what he adds to the storyline.
Loving this series. Another great one from Audrey. Want to get to the end so I can have the whole story but know I will be sad to leave these characters that I’ve come to know and love.
International Guy is in Washington D.C. The land of back room dealings, blackmail & bad politics. IG is hired to sway the vote of several Senators so they pass a bill that is no good for people, the environment or animals. They don’t want to lose their morals for the almighty dollar so they have to tread carefully to in order to get out of this case without losing everything, making sure the bill doesn’t get passed & doing what’s right. Parker & Skylar are moving further toward a future together but their safety could be questionable when anonymous texts have them on high alert.
Loving this series. I’m on pins & needles for the next 3 installments. It’s going to be really hard to wait.
International Guy Volume 3 was another book full of journeys and trails. I was so ready to jump into this volume after that mind blowing cliffhanger in Volume 2. Everything about this series makes me happy. I just love the fact its all about 3 men whose made it their life work to empower women all over the world. Volume 3 was a emotional roller coaster ride full of twists and surprises. I love all the new mysteries this volume brought forward. I love the authors ability to give you closure on certain situations yet turn around and open up more to keep you hooked on the series. If I had any complaints it would be the same I have been having. I WANT MORE Bo and Royce!!! I wish so badly we could get things in their point of views or that they could be involved in every case. I love them two! Their is alot of Skyler and Parker and I love them I really do but they can tend to over power the rest of the story line when it should be focused on the women whose book the story is truly about. With that said though I am beyond ready to dive into what awaits me in Volume 4.
“You’re never going to be alone. You have me. All of me. Until you take your last breath.”
London was about author Geneva James. I loved her character so much! Although she was shy and kind of a home body. I feel her character truly benefited from International Guys help. She was constantly evolving and developing through our her entire story. It was almost like reading a whole different heroine by the end of London. I also LOVED Geneva brought the boys into the world of romance it was definitely a nice touch to add to their journeys.
“Skyler smiles and it makes my heart fill with need. The need to just be where she is.”
Berlin was about Monika Schmidt. I truly struggled with her character and story. I felt she was extremely manipulative and sneaky. So many times I wanted to climb through the pages and smack some sense into her. I LOVED we got to get more Wendy and Mick. I just hated it had to be under such bad circumstances. However I was glad to see such a sense of family with this book. If anything Monika did this book it was bring out just how close the International Guy family is!
“You just proved what I already knew.” “Which is what?” “You’re the perfect women, and all mine.”
Washington DC was about Vivica Preston. Her character too brought forth many challenges and stoking revelations. It was Vivica’s character that the author truly showed you how amazing a writer she is. The constant twists and turns that DC brought was nothing short of amazing! You are constantly kept on your toes and left guessing. It was a perfectly spun web of deceit, black mail, and corruption. This installment isn’t pretty but I felt everything about it was handled tastefully.
*4 STARS*
Well earned another EXPLOSIVE installment into the International Guy world.
This volume has the next three books staring Parker Ellis. Now that the weather is turning colder and wetter now’s a good time to cuddle with a good book. And you get to go places without leaving your chair but the one downside is that we don’t get to really do any sightseeing.
These books continue to be told from the point of view of Parker Ellis. But with this set each book starts from Skyler’s point of view and ends the same way. Something that I pick up a lot with this set is that a mystery seems to be building momentum. And so has my appreciation for this series. It’s almost like the first six books were getting me ready for this latest volume. One continued disappointment is that even though our characters get to go to all these places I don’t feel like I’m sightseeing. May have to use these books as inspiration to take a round the world vacation to all the places that these books visit.
One thing I’ve learned from book seven, London, is that if you pick this series up here you’ve missed so much. You need to stop and go back to the beginning. Otherwise, you won’t understand who Parker is and how Skyler ended up being a part of his life. He shocks me by saying a certain word. I never would have thought that one word would have been a part of his vocabulary.
Out of all the books I’ve read so far this is my favorite. One thing it does is humanize our characters – can picture them working together and loving each other. This is a book that lets Bo shine. He seems to be our comic relief – you’ll be guaranteed a good laugh when he’s around. Instead of a romantic ending we get a little mystery.
For the next book, Berlin, it was nice to see that Bo continued to make me laugh. And of course those moments always seem to be at his expense. Besides the laughter there are moments of seriousness. Parker is really starting to grow on me too. I don’t know that if Skyler hadn’t come into his life if I would have been saying that. One nice thing was that we get to meet a member of Parker’s family. Our author also sends me a reminder that a mystery is still afoot.
The last book in this set is titled after our nation’s capital. My psst moment is to let you know that there’s an Author’s Note to start the story off and please make sure to read it – even though you may be tempted to skip ahead to the good stuff. Especially after me telling you there’s something juicy the author has added here.
This is where the plot is starting to thicken so I’ve decided that I’m just going to park my butt firmly in my chair. There’s no way that I can move until I see what this author has in store for us now. I haven’t been able to sightsee at all the places Parker goes to visit with clients, he spends enough time in Boston that it fills my travel needs. Even though I know more books are coming that didn’t stop me from getting frustrated when yet again this book ends with a mystery.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Another 3 tales in the International Guy world of romance and adventure! Skylar and Parker are back and better than ever! Every book leaves my heart in my throat after getting answers to previous questions, but it’s worth the wait. London, Berlin, DC are my favorite in the series so far and I’m counting down the days until Volume 4!
There’s so much to say about the next three installments of the series!! We pick up with Skylar and Parker coming back together after all the drama but will he be able to trust her again? While they work to figure it out, Parker is off to London to help Geneva James, a struggling writer get those words down and finish her series. Bringing these characters into the romance genre was brilliant!
From there, the team is off to Berlin where they are helping an launch a new campaign for an auto company. We get more of Wendy, Mick and Paul. You get a real sense of family with this story which I enjoyed. However, those text messages to Parker and Skylar have me wondering…
Washington DC is the final stop with this series to help a cosmetic company ban the testing of animals to make products. I love that this book is a little more on the serious side, with an issue that definitely needs more attention! Bo’s ex, Kendra comes into play and adds some drama to the read and leads me to wonder what’s next in the series! Can’t wait for more!
Awesome continuation! This book just continues the emotional rollercoaster that you can’t get enough of. The story continues to unfold and just know that it isn’t the end of this series so hold on tight!
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.
This is the third set of stories of the International Guy guys by Audrey Carlan. This series features Parker Ellis as the focus along with his love interest, Hollywood star Skylar Paige. Their relationship has had some bumps in the road up to this point in their love story. The two have to figure out what they’re doing and if their relationship is worth continuing.
So Skylar and Parker (SkyPark) decide to make a go at it. Both of their schedules are absolutely crazy. She’s doing her press junket for and upcoming movie release and he’s helping women achieve their goals business and personal alike. I like how they’re willing to work on their relationship not just say well this is too hard. Anything that’s worth having is hard work.
The relationship lessons they’re both learning are both beneficial for the characters as well as the reader. Communication is key in any relationship as these books will showcase. I like the advice Parker gives his clients too. It’s not just about his pretty face. Business strategy is key in the world and his company definitely helps their clients to succeed.
I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for these two in the final three books of International Guy.
International Guy Volume 3 takes Parker, Royce and Bo to help clients in London, Berlin and DC. Parker and Sky are trying to figure out their future after finding their way back to each other. The boys head to London to help an author get past her writer’s block and to Berlin to help a hybrid car company plan the advertising and release of their line of high end vehicles. Their trip to DC gets them tangled up in politics and blackmail.
I am a little disappointed that Bo and Royce don’t get to be involved in every case that IG takes on. I am looking forward to them finding someone special in the future.
I love that IG empowers the women they work with in many cases. They build confidence and show the women how beautiful they are. The author brings to light some very controversial issues in the DC installment and she does an amazing job of using them to help us understand IG better. This series is fun since each installment takes us to a new location for clients with totally different kinds of problems.
After the shocking events in Montreal it’s business as usual for Parker and his team. Geneva James, the world’s latest literary darling is one book away from completing her best selling trilogy but is suffering from a major case of writer’s block. With a movie deal hanging on the completion of the book what else can her agent do but call on International Guy to solve the problem. Can some mutual fan-girling between Skylar and Geneva, an impromptu book signing and a large dose of Bo for some literary inspiration solve the problem.
For part two Parker, Bo & Roy are off to Berlin to help with the launch of a series of eco cars. After seeing the concepts they have to work with, they realise they’re up against it time-wise so they call in reinforcements in the shape of Wendy and her fiancé Michael who just happens to owns one of the biggest advertising firms in the US. Little do they know there’s some bad history between Michael and Ulrika, the representative for car company.
For the third part of this book Parker and their new lawyer Kendra are in Washington for International Guy’s latest job working with a large pharmaceutical company who are trying to have a bill passed through Congress. It isn’t long though before they realise things aren’t what they seem. Just who are they working for?
This book does cover some unsavoury topics that might make you feel a bit ill. But even though some of the descriptions are rather graphic, the author doesn’t go for the shock effect and manages to handle them in a manner that doesn’t sensationalise them and therefore reduce the seriousness of the subject matter. It’s not all doom and gloom though. The witty banter between the characters especially when it involves Wendy and Bo will make you smile and then tug at your heart strings when Wendy doesn’t know how to react to a simple gift. I love how this author can write secondary characters that draw you in wanting to know more about them, even though they’re not the ‘stars of the show’. I’m now left wanting to read Geneva’s books and personally, I’d love more of her and Bo. And Rachel and Nate – how did they get together? They’re such a great partnership. Not forgetting my personal favourites Wendy and Mick. I might even have had a tear or two in my eye at one point reading this book because of them. Then there’s the addition of a new character in the shape of Kendra, an old flame of Roy’s. What secrets is she hiding? With things escalating with Skylar’s stalker – who I think I know who it is – and there’s an upcoming wedding to look forward to. I can honestly say this has got to be my favourite series this year. I can’t wait for the next book to be released.
AMAZING…WITTY…Tragic, Passionate…An outstanding piece of work by Audrey Carlan. From London to Washington D.C. The International Guy team reveal in the love of Skylar and Parker as well as Wendy and Mick. They see an old friend in Paris and show the heroes of the Military in Berlin. Family and old friends return and in Washington D.C. they stand their ground for what’s right and moral. This is an exceptional Series, written by an amazing woman who will show inspiration in each of her books. This book deserves more than 5 stars!
Another great installment of Parker and the gang. As we continue through the journey we start to learn more about Wendy and Mick and Royce. We of course get to continue with Skyler and Parker’s journey. A definite read. Can’t wait until Volume 4!!
London is book 7 in the International Guy series. Book 6 left us with many unanswered questions that are addressed at the beginning. This book sees Parker going to London to help a writer with writer block. It is a fun story expanding Parker and Skylar’s relationship. Definitely a great read.
Berlin is book 8. In this book International Guy is hired to help with a car marketing campaign. We learn a lot more of Mick’s past and watch as he becomes friends with the rest of the group.
Washington DC is book 9. In the book, we see the dark and ugly side of politics. Parker and IG are put in a bad moral and eithical situation. We also get to meet Kendra, someone from Royce’s past.
