You should never mix business with pleasure… right? Whoops…Meet my brand-new intern, who also happens to be the man at my doorstep for one night of passion. I want him, but do I want him bad enough to risk everything, my job included? Will sparks continue to fly between us in and out of the office, or was it all but one night of … office, or was it all but one night of passion?

I liked the story line and the characters but just needed more substance. There’s smut and then there’s this book. Every single encounter between the main characters resulted in sex. Don’t get me wrong, it was hot and well written but after the 10th time of them having sex and doing basically nothing else, the book lost my interest. I needed more from the read, especially given the heartbreaking past these two came from.
I liked the length of the read, somewhat between a novella and a novel.
I gave Intern 3 stars because I did like Sadie and Tyson as characters, I enjoyed the story line of how their paths crossed and I loved their struggles and insecurities. I just wished there was more of that in the book.
The book started promisingly enough, but degenerated into page after page of sex scenes. There was basically no storyline after their first meeting so it got a bit boring and repetitive very quickly.
