I’m in love with two men. I’m torn and need to choose which man from my past I want as a permanent part of my future. My heart leads me one way as my brain pushes me toward the other. I want them both, but each of them holds a secret that will change everything. Can I overcome the betrayal with a simple intermission, or am I better off alone?
Intermission is the conclusion we have all been waiting for. Will Delaney pick the Chase or will she pick Gavin? You’ll have to read to find out. I’m happy with the decision she made. If you haven’t started this duet yet, you need to.
From the first book I was rooting for Gavin. His love for Delaney is so genuine and sweet. In the first book I hated Chase but in this one he truly tries to gain my approval and Delaney’s too. I think he does love her just not on the level that Gavin does. In the end she picks the right guy for her. I’m hoping for more of the Beyond Gold guys
7 Stars out of 5 from me, THIS was a good book. Wait. No, it wasn’t. It was a GREAT BOOK. I Loved the story line. I fell in love with the characters—well, maybe not that one who shall be nameless. Each character was so well thought out and woven into the story so beautifully without being gratuitous that it was hard not to find them all endearing. Except that one who shall be nameless.
Personally, I think this could be one of Lisa Suzanne’s best works. If not, it sure comes darn close. It was a one sitting read. Once I started, I did not want to stop. I didn’t want to stop even when it ended. That alone gives it a 7-star rating from me.
YES!
In the end my dreams as well as Delaney’s were met.
The dilemma of which man to choose was all consuming to Delaney. The author took us through the events (in detail) of the past between these three characters. We know it’s to make us have compassion for Delaney and her hardships but also to give us a peak at the people they were 10 years ago along with who they are now. The choice seems obvious in one sense but there is more at play than a past and other players who with their decisions deterred the path two of the players might of had.
As much as I want to scream and tell you all what happened…..I just can’t!
It would not be fair to take this awesome read from you or the author, since it’s obvious she worked so hard to give us a touching, and sizzling read.
This duet was fantastic and with that said, Lisa Suzanne is now on my must read list.
I’m actually crying right now! The emotion in this book is palpable and perfect. I seriously can’t get over how perfectly done these books are. If you like wholesome and honest, if you like twists and turns, if you like super steamy sexiness this is the book for you! A jack of all trades wonderfully written love triangle. Truly just a phenomenal ending to an amazing duet. The best love triangle duet I have ever read. This book answers every question Interception left me. It filled in so many blanks, and where Interception was a little all over the place and full of self hatred Intermission is bam emotion and full of self growth and self discovery. Truly a one of a kind duet. I’m just blown away by how different this book was, it didn’t follow the romance novel checklist, I mean it still checks every box but in such a special new way. It was really just magical how she handled everything. If you are on the fence about this one after you finished the first book trust me this one completes it. It’s everything book 1 isn’t, and still everything book 1 is but better! The queen of love triangles gave us all something I know I’ve never read before and never knew I was missing and made it a must have in every book from now on!
As frustrating as Delaney was during this duet, I still loved Gavin enough to deal with her. He was a fantastic character, and I enjoyed learning more back story in this book. I don’t write too much as not to spoil the ending for anyone, but I’d recommend this book.
Intermission (Love Triangle Douet, #2) was as amazing as Interception (Love Triangle Douet, #1) Intermission (Love Triangle Douet, #2) It does not disappoint. You will be seating on the edge of your seat with anticipation as you are furiously flipping through the pages until the very end. You do not want to miss this two book love story.
Delaney Lockwood is at a crossroads when she is being courted by two different men from her past. One is her ex-boyfriend Chase Camden who is now a football star and the other is Gavin Brooks, her former best friend who is now a rock star. Both men seem to be offering what she is looking for but which one is in it for the right reasons and will be there for her through it all?
Can Delaney figure out which one will give her the happy ever after she is looking for before it’s too late and she makes a decision that will cost her everything?
I was super excited to finish this one after I was proven right at the end of the first book. That being said I knew it was going to be awhile for Delaney to figure everything out which made me shake the book a few times out of frustration!
I really liked Delaney although I was a little mad that it was taking her so long to decide what she should do. Certain things made her think twice with Chase but she kept on agreeing to go see him every time he would ask.
I knew Gavin was hiding something from Delaney and I wasn’t shocked when it came out but I was really shocked at Delaney’s reaction to it. I felt so bad for Gavin as it wasn’t something he did and he tried and tried to make it up to Delaney and got nothing back. I was surprised at what was revealed to Delaney from her parents and how they were fine with what they did and how they didn’t see it as being wrong. Totally blown away.
I was glad when Delaney was finally able to figure everything out and get where she should be and realize that they were both innocent in the whole scheme of things.
The end was great and I was definitely happy with how everything ended! I hope we get a book with Liam and Rose soon!
4.5 Stars!
Intermission answered all my questions and more! This was the PERFECT follow-up to Interception. I am going to have to say it was hard going into this one with a unbiased mind, I clearly made my choice and watching this story play out was killing me.
I don’t want to give the story away, so all I can say is PICK THIS ONE UP…you won’t be disappointed!
What a captivating, intense conclusion to this duet! Wow, I started reading it yesterday and finished it yesterday because I couldn’t put it down. After that cliffhanger in Interception (Book #1), I was anxious to get my hands on this one. I don’t want to give away spoilers, so I’m not going to say much about the plot but yikes, this plot had everything! Mystery, intrigue, steamy chemistry between the characters, interesting secondary characters, multiple POV’s, heartbreaking moments, sexy times and more than once I wanted to shake Delaney and tell her to make a dang decision! LOL I’m generally not a fan of love triangles, but this author nailed it with this duet! I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the future. 5-star read!
After the jaw-dropping ending to Interception, I had to dive right into Intermission as soon as it hit my kindle! And it did not disappoint!! Such an amazing conclusion to this duet!! I absolutely loved it!!
I truly felt for Delaney and her conflicted feelings for the men vying for her heart. She was finally getting a second chance with her first love, but she never expected her childhood best friend to confess his love for her too. It was a lot to take in all at once; and while some may think she was a bit wishy washy with her decisions, I respected her for taking the time to explore her feelings with both Gavin and Chase. She never hid that from either man, and it was something that she needed to do before she could truly move forward with her life.
Delaney definitely made the right choice in who she wanted to be with (I was on his team 100%)…….but I hope that the man that was left with a broken heart gets his own shot at love. He wasn’t a bad guy, just not the right guy for Delaney.
And the conclusion to the story is here – and it only got better the more I read. The emotion between the characters. The feelings and unsaid emotions. It all added up to this story that hits you in your core and stays with you. I was affected emotionally by this story. I felt such sadness, heartache, and happiness.
The way the author has intertwined the lives of these three people was genius. I was floored by her uncanny ability to involve all three of them and keep your attention with them. It was a story that grabbed my attention and made me DEVOUR this book in about 4 hours. She has a way with love triangles that’s for sure. And you couldn’t have picked two completely different characters than Chase and Gavin.
Chase, Gavin and Delaney’s lives have been intertwined after 10 years. This book picks up where where interception left off. The truth comes to light and thank goodness Delaney finally sees the light and makes the best decision. It is a love triangle that makes you swoon, want to scream and yell, and puts everything back into place by the end.
A great story you will love and make you fall in love all over again!!
Intermission is the much anticipated next installment in the love triangle saga of Delaney, Gavin and Chase.
More secrets are revealed, assumptions are questioned and love is tested as Delaney and Gavin give it a go. So many people have manipulated to tear them apart; so many circumstances have come between them. Can they find a way to be together? Is Chase really out of the picture or just waiting for an intermission to step in?
This sequel is so romantic, full of poignant song lyrics and sizzling chemistry! Thank you, Lisa Suzanne, for this achingly beautiful story!
Between Chase and Gavin, Delaney has an important choice that she must make, and soon. Chase is a famous football player and Gavin is a rockstar. Both are celebrities who live in the spotlight and Delaney is not quite sure how to adjust to that. But she’s not going to turn down the opportunity for a lifetime of love even if it means being followed by paparazzi. They both woo her and pull out all of the stops to show her how much they want to be with her everyday. One guy definitely has the edge in being the one for Delaney over the other, she just has to listen to her heart in the present. I liked that this wasn’t some long and drawn out affair, things were cut to the chase appropriately without added fill-in drama. Delaney has learned a lot of lessons in the last 10 years and trust is hard for her, but I’m glad she picked up on the subtle cues from both guys to be able to discern which one really puts her needs first because he is truly perfect for her. I have a feeling that this isn’t the last we’ll see of these characters since some of their friends are still single.
You really need to read Interception first to get the most out of this book. I couldn’t wait to read this book to see what happens with Delaney, Gavin and Chase. If you are like me, from the beginning you will want her with either the rock star or the football player. I loved Gavin from the beginning because he always seems so real, truthful, and so in love with Delaney. Chase doesn’t seem like he is really into Delaney—but he may be. Ms. Suzanne has such a way with her writing that your emotions are so involved in the story it all feels like it is happening to you. Delaney finds so many secrets out that has her head spinning. I felt bad for a few characters, some that I never thought I would feel bad for. I don’t want to say more as I don’t want to spoil anything for you. I loved the story, can’t wait for another book, and strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review to hopefully help others.
Intermission is the second book in the Love Triangle Duet by Lisa Suzanne. I am an avid fan of Lisa Suzanne books and las with all her work, this duet is an excellent read with an intriguing storyline, wonderful characters, angst and an amazing ending.
This book continues where the first book, Interception, leaves off with Delaney still conflicted on whether to choose her ex-lover NFL star Camden or her best friend from high school Rock Star Gavin. Then betrayal and a hurtful secret are revealed, making Delaney feel she should walk away from both men.
This is a wonderful story and an absolute five-star read! I strongly recommend it for those who enjoy a beautifully written romance. I received an ARC and voluntarily reviewed this book.
Lisa Suzanne heats things up with INTERMISSION (Love Triangle Duet #2). Teacher Delaney Lockwood’s love triangle continues with ex-boyfriend NFL quarterback, Chase Camden and her former best friend/Rockstar, Gavin Brooks. Intermission starts out where book one, INTERCEPTION, left off. This contemporary sports/rock star romance is suitable for adult readers.
Lisa Suzanne did a phenomenal job with this story. It seemed like everyone had secrets, and they were all revealed. I like how Lisa Suzanne flashes back and forth in time to tell the story. I sympathized for Delaney’s character. No matter what she decides to do, she would have to make some sort of sacrifice. She does a lot of soul searching. INTERMISSION was skillfully written and entertaining. Be warned it might give you a book hangover because it is hard to put down. You should read book one prior to this book. I recommend the Love Triangle Duet to people who enjoy, sports, Rockstar, and love triangle romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Intermission is the second book in Lisa Suzanne’s Love Triangle Duet. It must be read in order unless you want to ruin the ending!
Will she or won’t she?? That is what everyone wants to know!! Well, I know , but since I want you to enjoy the book as much as I did, I am keeping my lips sealed!!
Laney has a difficult decision to make, Gavin or Chase…Chase or Gavin? How can she choose when she loves both of them? What will Laney do when secrets surface? Will she get her happily ever after or will she be destined to be alone?
It is always hard to write a review when you don’t want to give anything away!! However, I can tell you that, once again, I could not put it down. I had to know whose team she finally chose! Intermission is a wonderfully sexy way to end The Love Triangle Duet!
After the jaw-dropping ending to Interception, I had to dive right into Intermission as soon as it hit my kindle! And it did not disappoint! Such an amazing conclusion to this duet. Intermission answers every question Interception left me. It filled in so many blanks and is bam full of emotion, self growth and self discovery. Truly a one of a kind duet. I’m just blown away by how different and unique this book was. It didn’t follow the ‘traditional’ romance novel checklist, I mean it still ticks every box but in such a special new way. It was a story that grabbed my attention and made me DEVOUR this book. She definitely has a way with love triangles that’s for sure. Intermission was exactly what I hoped and wished for whenever I pick up a novel by Lisa Suzanne. I adored these characters. I loved their story. This book definitely ticked off all my boxes for the perfect romance. I smiled and swooned from page to page, hoping right along with Laney and the one she ultimately chose for the chance to see this romance blossom. I’m glad she ended up with the right guy—the best guy. I’m not naming names but I just have to say that from the outset I was already rooting for him. You could feel the genuineness of his feelings. This was a wonderfully written tale and I absolutely loved it!
First, before reading this book you must read Interception, and once you have finished you will run to get Intermission. Let me say that I read this book in one sitting and couldn’t wait to dive into Delaney and her story and decisions that needed to be made. She has big life choices to make and trying to decide between a popular, good-looking football player or a very sexy, swoon worthy rock star cannot be easy. Lisa Suzanne did a wonderful job conveying the difficulties Delaney has and makes you, the reader, feel for each and every person in the story. You may not feel all lovey-dovey for each character but you will feel something! So go and read this duet right now.
