I like fast, easy-to-read youth fantasy novels. Had I been in high school, this would have been a five star read for sure. I like the characters even though Four seems to act out of character in this one. Some of the supposed plot twists can be seen miles away, but maybe that’s because we’ve all read ‘Hunger Games,’ and such. I look forward to …
Sequal to Divergent, a great action packed novel with romance! Must read if you liked Divergent!
Veronica Roth delivers in her second book of the Divergent Trilogy yet again! I loved how much action takes place throughout, as well as the secret agendas behind each group giving the reader the sense that there’s so much plotting going on between the characters that you really have no idea how it will all end. I very much appreciated the …
I thought the book took a step backwards in terms of the story line. Despite the final revelation, the story just didn’t grab me like the first book did.
I don’t have much to say about this book, I did not enjoy as much as the first. the plot was rather boring and I found myself tired after the first few chapters:(
Loved it!!
It was beautiful. It made me glued to it!
it was ok 1231
Loved it. I read all the book my favorite is book 1
Four is still great imo; Tris got a bit on my nerves, but having 5 different characters pointing her stupidity out to her certainly helped; and there were still a few unnecessary deaths (more like avoidable, if people weren’t being stupid, I guess).
The story is still good, but the main character seems to have drank a serum for stupidity like …
I think it is an Amazing book.
Great book. Definitely recommend it.
Their journey is definitely worth the read. Very traditional heroes on a mission style story but unconventional in it’s setting and delivery. Beautiful.
Must read
Insurgent is an attention capturing dystopian book by Veronica Roth. This is the second book in the Divergent Series. Fighting their way from the Dauntless members who were under the stimulation, finally Tris, Tobias, Caleb, Peter, and some abnegation members escaped, deciding to seek help from the Amity. Problems become more intense after their …
I enjoyed this series.
This book picks up where the last left off: on the train after the horrible things that had happened in the city.
Tris has to deal with her guilt and grief – and refuses to really share it with anyone else, even her boyfriend Tobias (Four). She believes that once he knows what she had to do to survive, he wouldn’t love her anymore…
They refuse …
It is so good and so is the first book divergent! It is so gooooooddddd!!!
It’s amazing how unpredictable it gets. No matter what kind of twists and turns it takes, this page turning series will surely manage to keep those haters at bay
i can’t lie- i like hunger games better. This series is a close 2nd, and is ALMOST as good as hunger games. Hats off to Veronica Roth!
Tris, Four, Caleb, Markus, and Peter escape to Amity after the attack on Abnegation. Amity does give them refuge, however, Erudite still finds them while hunting Divergents. While there Tris discovers that some of the faction leaders have been keeping some very important information from them, and she makes it her personal mission to find out what …
